13/04/2026: Easter at Tenuta di Sipio has become a pleasant tradition for my family, and this year too, it proved to be an experience that lived up to expectations—if not exceeded.
This is the fourth consecutive year we've chosen this place, and each time we're amazed by the quality. The lunch was TOP!: carefully prepared, decidedly gourmet dishes and top-quality ingredients.
The service is impeccable, attentive but never intrusive. Great credit also goes to the wine selection, unique and top-notch, perfectly paired with the dishes.
A special mention goes to Nino, always extremely helpful, kind, and professional. His attention to everyone's needs—from intolerances (like lactose-free) to children's needs—truly makes a difference and helps make the experience even more enjoyable.

With your stomach because you eat so much, and so well.
With your heart because try closing your eyes, going back, and imagining that table, the set table at your grandmother's house. Unforgettable glasses, plates, pasta dishes, and tablecloths that take you back to your childhood, and in an instant, memories of those past moments come flooding back! You eat not only with gusto, but also with your heart.

01/05/2026: Ohh!! And today we did ourselves a favor again. We started with the cacio e ova balls with fish sauce, then moved on to the chitarrina with mantis shrimp. Then we went on to a fantastic mixed fried fish dish. Our food suicide ended with a chocolate crumble with black cherry cream. Sounds like a great way to die. Jokes aside, everything was super good, and we want to extend our compliments to all the staff, the kitchen, and the owner who leads this fantastic team.

03/05/2026: We had dinner at Essenza last night and were truly impressed. The flavors won us over: seemingly simple dishes, but prepared with great care and attention to detail, and above all, delicious. The wine pairings were excellent, and the value was truly excellent. 👍
It was the perfect way to end our vacation in Abruzzo. We also really appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, who were particularly attentive to our small children (they prepared a special dish for them).
A wonderful experience that we highly recommend! ✨

04/04/2026: I discovered Lu Pennese almost by chance thanks to a post I saw on Facebook, and I couldn't have made a better choice. I love simple, authentic places, without too many frills, and here I found exactly what I was looking for: the wonderful atmosphere of a real village bar where time seems to have stood still. It's a genuine and genuine place, where you don't need an endless menu to make you happy. I loved their simple yet high-quality menu: they serve exceptional porchetta, excellent both in a sandwich and eaten plain, along with platters of salami and local pecorino cheese, and the classic bread and oil, which in its simplicity is unbeatable. If you go on a Sunday, you can also try their arrosticini, which are out of this world. If you're looking for a sincere, welcoming place with authentic flavors, Lu Pennese is an absolute must. A Peroni to wash down the grease, and you'll feel comfortable and satisfied. I'll definitely be back!

03/04/2026: We not only dined here but also stayed overnight, which made the experience extra special. The room was simple but fully equipped and, above all, very clean.
We opted for the extensive menu with wine pairings, and that was absolutely the right choice. The dishes were surprising and refined, with the carpaccio, ravioli, and maiale nero being the real highlights. The wines were excellently chosen and paired incredibly well with every dish.
The service deserves special mention: very attentive, with a high level of service without ever becoming stiff or formal. We received a clear and pleasant explanation with every dish. You can feel the family involvement and passion everywhere.
Breakfast was also perfectly catered for, again with the same warm and attentive service. Nothing was too much trouble.
The overall experience naturally comes with a price tag, but that is more than justified — after all, it remains a Michelin-starred restaurant. Moreover, the fact that you can also stay overnight here is a great added value.
We felt particularly welcome from start to finish. Everything is local, prepared with care and passion. Highly recommended.
