02/06/2026: Fresh fish and ever-changing ideas for pairing it with different dishes, depending on whether you're talking raw, hot, or cold. Specifically, we sampled complete appetizers with oysters and noteworthy raw fish, smoked spaghetti with Normandy butter, anchovy sauce and bottarga, and to finish, a crispy, dry fried fish. The Trebbiano wine from an Abruzzo winery was paired with the dish. The price was absolutely competitive and in line with what we tasted.

Calling it that is an understatement: here we're talking about frozen creams with a unique flavor, capable of satisfying every palate and every need. The orange fondant? Absolutely worth a try. And then there are the sugar-free options and those for those with lactose intolerance. Well done! Even if you sometimes have to wait a few minutes, the organization is impeccable.

Besides the beauty and uniqueness of the restaurant, which resembles the interior of a ship, with a spacious dining room overlooking the waterfront, the fish is incredibly fresh and delicious. Exquisite, refined, and high-quality dishes; every course, from appetizer to dessert, will leave you speechless. I recommend trying the monkfish, it's excellent! The staff are kind and attentive, and the owners are welcoming and helpful. This place is truly a treat!

The variety of croissants is impressive, with a wide selection of flavors, from classics to more unusual creams, filled on the spot, ensuring freshness and quality in every bite. The coffee is also excellent. The staff is friendly, smiling, and helpful despite the crowds. A must-visit. 🫶🏻

19/04/2026: I ordered an appetizer and they brought me a plate of bread and oil along with the appetizer. After I finished that, for the appetizer, with the arrosticini, I asked for more bread because they didn't bring it to me by default. In the end, they charged me twice for the bread. So, in their opinion, the appetizer should be brought without bread? They bring it by default, charging it even if you didn't order it. Well, then the arrosticini were barely warm. In the end, they charged me twice for the arrosticini, and after I asked for an explanation, they told me that one was a cover charge. The waitress then insisted that I had to read the receipt from bottom to top to understand. Well.

13/07/2026: We visited L'Artigiano della Pizza twice during our stay in Francavilla and we were very pleased! Delicious pizza and burgers, and very friendly staff. It was quite busy on Saturday, (which only proveshow great this place really) so I recommend visiting during the week if you prefer it quieter. Huge thanks to our waiter, Sasha, for serving us in English!

The service was excellent: the owner was always kind, helpful, and present, but never intrusive, which I greatly appreciated. The setting is truly unique and beautiful, with an atmosphere that makes the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely return. My only complaint concerns the price: perhaps a little higher than expected. Furthermore, some dishes available that day weren't listed on the menu, so they were ordered without knowing their cost. I think it would be very helpful to complement the set menu with a simple daily menu with the corresponding prices, to avoid any potential discrepancies between expectations and the final bill. Overall, however, it was an excellent experience and a restaurant I recommend.

17/07/2026: My boss recommended this place to me. We had a really nice time. Friendly staff. Great decor. The music transported us back to the '90s. How nice 💚🤍♥️ And the beer was delicious, but it went a little overboard. Today I checked its alcohol content 😂😃 It had the right to stir things up a bit 🙃🙃🙃

02/05/2026: We chose this restaurant by chance a few months ago, since we're not from the area, but we made an excellent choice. Every time we come to Rome, we come for lunch or dinner. A quiet, elegant place, with very professional staff who pay attention to the little details. Thanks, see you next time.

20/02/2026: Yesterday we had two seafood risottos with baby octopus, clams, and shrimp. They were out of this world, believe me, I could have eaten a kilo of them. They were so good. The fried fish was well-cooked, and the sea bass with potatoes was delicious. But the risotto was mind-blowing. The owner was too serious, so let's smile, my goodness.
