12/08/2025: Our first experience at the trabucco was wonderful, but my daughter had already been there twice, so we went for sure. It was a wonderful experience, an excellent gastronomic journey. They bring the dishes slowly, so you can fully enjoy them. The waiter describes the dish perfectly, and it's perfectly composed. The atmosphere is wonderful, breezy and shaded. The service is excellent, as is the open kitchen, spotlessly clean, and the professionalism and harmony between them all. It's an experience we'll repeat, but highly recommended to anyone looking for a unique experience. They also offer gluten-free options. Thank you, you made our afternoon a wonderful one. 14/08/2025: A wonderful location surrounded by greenery and filled with the scent of flowers. Refined seafood dishes; it's a pleasure to sample and discover ever-changing combinations. Finally, not your typical seafood restaurant, but one that prioritizes the freshness and quality of the ingredients. An intimate and relaxing atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

20/06/2025: This restaurant is highly recommended. Fresh fish and seafood in all possible variations. Homemade pasta and many dishes that aren't on the menu. Just ask... Super friendly staff. We sat outside in pleasant temperatures. All in all, a place to return to.

31/07/2025: We found exactly the trattoria atmosphere we were expecting, both in terms of food, prices, and service. The first courses were definitely tasty: the ricotta ravioli with ragù and the Mugnaia with mushrooms, the latter almost enough for two people! The cheese and egg balls were delicious! The arrosticini were good, average. The service was very friendly and unpretentious, appropriate for the type of place. Excellent value for money! The only downside was the desserts...we expected something traditional, but there wasn't one...we had the Nutella fritters, but they were very dry; we were a bit disappointed, but as for everything else, we'd definitely be back!

29/08/2025: We found ourselves at this restaurant because it was on the way back from a vacation in Abruzzo. What can I say? A terrible place with equally terrible staff! We waited over half an hour (us and four other tables, one of which had decided to leave in the meantime) just for some water and a menu! Meanwhile, we were all entertained by the shouts, curses, and swear words of the person who supposedly was the owner, who was communicating with the kitchen staff in this manner! We, sitting outside near the kitchen, could hear everything. Only after about an hour did the man appear at the tables to take orders... so to speak! Since in the end, we all ended up eating only fries and arrosticini (luckily delicious!), because no one dared order anything else, given the current situation! For my son, I had asked for a simple plate of rigatoni with fresh tomato: after waiting half an hour, the pasta arrived, but the wrong dish, and another wait...for rigatoni with sauce. Oh well! I've summed up in a few lines two hours of pure madness, culminating in laughter at the tables, because we really didn't know whether to laugh or cry! That's the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars and not 1!

27/08/2025: My apologies to the owner for not giving it 5 stars, but I still had a great time. 🫠 The lamb was probably the best I've ever eaten, the arrosticini were excellent, and it was a truly fun evening thanks to the owner, who's as crazy as a horse and makes your evening even more enjoyable. If you're bothered by a bit of noise, don't eat there, but if you want good food, local specialties, and a truly unique evening... You shouldn't miss stopping by. Ciao and thanks for the tomato sauce.

06/07/2025: Gluten-free Bocconotti excellent!!!! Staff informed about celiac disease and attentive to contamination. Place present in the AiC circuit. I recommend this place also to celiac people

26/06/2025: In this old bar, a great job has been done by the new owner, he has managed with professionalism and wisdom to get back on his feet a place open to the public where no one has entered for years.... in the village there were many skeptics, but at Il gusto della vita everything has changed and the quality of the products is not up for discussion, a piece of advice to the staff.... keep it up

01/06/2025: The trofie with green bean and potato pesto were excellent, the roasted tomino with zucchini was delicate, the semifreddo with Avellino nougat was exquisite. My husband appreciated the delicacy of the pork. Recommended.

28/04/2025: Food is excellent but service was a bit slow. Can highly recommend this restaurant for the food. If you are ever in the area, you should make a point to stop in for lunch. You won’t be disappointed.

26/08/2025: The property is located near Lanciano, in a strategic area for enjoying the Trabocchi Coast every day and taking trips inland. The rooms are welcoming, clean, and comfortable, with private verandas, a small kitchen, and the option of dining on the veranda. But we rarely did so, because dining on the property was a pleasure for the senses and the soul: the food is excellent, and the hosts, Lorenzo and Nadia, are extremely kind, affable, and friendly. They listened to our needs and requests and always accommodated us. Lorenzo is also an excellent guide and will be able to advise you on the best villages and festivals to visit during your stay. You can also purchase the farm's excellent products (primarily olive oil and wine). Everything (stay, dinners, and products) is at very fair prices! The only downside is the lack of a washing machine, which can be a bit of a nuisance during extended stays. However, there is a coin-operated laundromat very close to Lanciano. We returned again this year and nothing has changed!! Thanks for the wonderful vacation!

19/08/2025: We had a perfect holiday during the Ferragosto holiday. The location is excellent for visiting the Trabocchi Coast and hiking in the Majella Mountains. Clean and comfortable rooms in an oasis of tranquility, along with excellent food made with all their own ingredients. The owners, Nadia and Lorenzo, were genuinely kind and cordial. A wonderful experience.
