We were passing through Francavilla al Mare and couldn't miss Il Professore, a must-see for anyone who loves authentic artisanal gelato. You can taste the difference from the first taste: top-quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and perfect creaminess. You can taste the passion and expertise of those who truly know what they're doing!
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is that of a place where gelato is a true art: every time it's a new discovery!

It's a great place for breakfast. Reasonably priced... excellent croissants. Very nice and clean bar.

Simply the best gelato I've ever had, and the quality has remained consistent over the years. The staff's speed, kindness, and patience are also commendable, even when they often have to deal with rude and noisy customers. A constant in my summers. Never change!

The best gelato in Francavilla, hands down! The appetizer platter is also very good. The gelato line is always very long in the evening, but they're well organized inside to ensure that people arrive in the queue first. Every evening there are so many flavors to choose from, but the classic flavors are simply exceptional, and the fruit gelato is always delicious. Another plus is that the waffle cone and the wafer cone are the same price.
