11/09/2025: Compared to last year, there's been a drastic drop in preparation and quality of the dishes offered.
Fried calamari consists of only the tails and a few tentacles. The rest of the mantle is used to prepare skewers, which, quite paltry,
were priced at €2.50 each.
The flavors also leave much to be desired.
We've been there several times last year and always had a great experience.
Too bad...

The location is truly beautiful, well-kept and well-maintained, the staff is extremely kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and the first courses are truly delicious—homemade pasta and sauces just like grandma's, but also innovative and tasty combinations. The meat is well-cooked and very well-prepared. The price is truly excellent for the quality and portions. We'll be back soon.

27/02/2026: Even though I'm an athlete, after a 21km run, I had the opportunity to eat at this place. Although it didn't look very welcoming from the outside, I had to change my mind. A delicious and plentiful mussel appetizer and a delicious homemade tagliolini allo scoglio (seafood tagliolini) completely changed my mind. Kudos to Remo and Gianpietro. Try it and believe it!

05/04/2026: It was my first time eating on a trabucco, and I hope to do it again soon, even though it won't be easy from Rome, because it was a unique experience. The setting was beautiful; eating with the sound of the sea accompanying you was relaxing. The dishes were all excellent and made with quality ingredients. I really appreciated the time between courses; it gave me the chance to appreciate the view and enjoy my meal without the stress of rushing between courses.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable in explaining the dishes.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, not to mention the owner, Peppino, who is truly courteous.

05/04/2026: Avoid if you can. Very unfriendly staff. Refused to accomodate family w kid for lunch even so tables were available or there was an option to add a table, plenty of space. The answer was quite rude as well plain 'no'. There are so many places around to eat. We found a lovely restaurant and were able to feed our kud and enjoy lunch!

11/03/2026: I've always enjoyed this restaurant, which offers a splendid sea view, delicious fresh seafood dishes, and impeccable service. There's ample on-site parking and prices are in line with the menu.
28/12/2025: We were passing through and stopped for a bite to eat. The atmosphere was very nice. We had a set menu for two, which was very filling. The fish was very fresh.

19/04/2026: A simple little place, just like the food. Surprisingly efficient and friendly service. The food is good, even if the pizza is standard. Parking is nearby, and prices are reasonable.
26/02/2026: After several years I returned to this place to give it a second chance, but I see that nothing has changed, terrible service and inedible pizza, that is, as soon as it arrived instead of cutting it, it wrapped itself up, judge for yourself, I will definitely never go there again.

14/12/2025: We took a mini vacation in Fossacesia, a beautiful, welcoming, and hospitable village. We had lunch and dinner for two days at the Bucco restaurant. Everything was delicious, the freshest fish was cooked to perfection, and the prices were top-notch. Thanks to Maria and her staff. Her son in the kitchen is an excellent chef!
