09/08/2025: I returned after a few years but was disappointed. I don't think it deserves a Michelin star anymore. The place is nice and has remained unchanged. The staff is sometimes friendly but sometimes a bit rushed and uninterested. I had a pasta dish (good) and then for our main course we chose the grilled fish of the day. They recommended the John Dory, but the portion was really meager, with a small side of vegetables (they had said potatoes and vegetables, but only the vegetables arrived), for €20 each. They told us they grilled it, but honestly, it didn't taste like grill, it tasted like anything. Plus, we had to fillet it ourselves on the plate, so by the time I started eating it, it was already cold. We got very little meat out of one fish. Too bad, I thought I was going to have a good fish meal, but the portions were meager and the prices were unreasonable. Two dishes with a glass of wine were €50 each. The sad fish in the photo. I had good memories of it a few years ago, but from now on I don't think it will be worth going back.

05/08/2025: Very intrigued by this historic restaurant, which I'd never tried before, I decided to book a dinner with my husband. Recommended Michelin restaurant with average service and hospitality. A nice brick location with maritime decor; don't expect a sea view. We ordered two portions of crudités (5 pieces + 1 oyster and 3 mini shrimp each), two portions of hot appetizers (5 pieces), water, wine, dessert, and coffee. Everything was average; perhaps the best was the licorice parfait. The cuttlefish tagliatelle with crispy Altino peppers came in second, and the tuna tartare came in third. Perhaps the prices need to be reviewed, as they're more in line with the Milanese market than the Abruzzo one.

24/08/2025: I stopped for lunch and unfortunately I couldn't try the food because they didn't have the ingredients. However, they had warned me before I sat down. The focaccia is an interesting poem.

23/08/2025: A great, typical trattoria in the heart of Chieti. You can eat local dishes in a very family-friendly, simple, and no-nonsense atmosphere. I recommend it 200%. The grilled meat or the chitarra (THE spaghetti of Abruzzo).

04/08/2025: A beautiful and welcoming place, with an extremely friendly owner and staff. The pizza is amazing: soft, crispy, and tasty, made with quality ingredients. It was definitely the best pizza we've ever tasted. And let's not forget the delicious homemade desserts. We'll definitely be back!

16/08/2025: Exceptional, typical Abruzzo food!!! We discovered this restaurant by chance during our stay in Ortona. It's a place where the food is excellent, featuring all homemade, local ingredients. The antipasto, incredibly generous and full of delicious ingredients, and the first courses are exceptional. The restaurant is family-run, and the owners are wonderful and very welcoming; you immediately feel at home. You absolutely have to stop by!

09/08/2025: Found this place by mistake, but it was the best mistake of the day! Pasta is strictly handmade, on the spot, by the owner of the place, a delightful and down-to-earth person who manages everything with impeccable kindness and sweetness! A highlight of the menu is their appetizer, absolutely recommended and a must-try! First courses are super generous and delicious, sweet and bitter also made by the lady... I will definitely be back to try the meat that we didn't get to eat because we were full. Prices are more than fair!

29/08/2025: A dinner that was nothing short of spectacular! An incredible seafood dinner. We found this place among the gluten-free options in the area, and we never expected such attention and organization, even down to the smallest details. The staff was attentive and friendly from the start. We had two medium-large dogs with us, and they were welcomed into the establishment. The waiter explained the gluten-free options, including homemade pasta, fried fish, and artisanal desserts. A dream for a celiac on vacation. The taste experience exceeded our expectations. A place we absolutely recommend and will return to soon.

28/08/2025: Excellent fried seafood and mixed grill. Excellent value for money. Plus, they're very friendly, which doesn't hurt.

30/08/2025: The pizza, the fried foods, and the location were perfect. It's neither luxurious nor a trattoria. I think it's just right. One flaw is the service, a bit too superficial. Last year they treated us like friends, very warm, without being too invasive. This time, however, you could tell they were annoyed, and I feel sorry for them, perhaps more than for me.

12/07/2025: A unique experience! The location is exceptional; I recommend arriving on time and before dark to enjoy the sunset and the colors of the sea. The service is super efficient, and the dishes are all delicious. The menu is set (including drinks, coffee, and liqueur), and every dish was excellent. My favorite was the millefeuille of sea bass, eggplant, and sun-dried tomatoes with Taggiasca olives and escarole. The portions are well-balanced, allowing you to enjoy everything from appetizers to dessert. The wine cellar is excellent. Book well in advance.

23/08/2025: We stopped at this place, discovered by chance, for a bite to eat. Aside from the hospitality of the staff, who were truly kind and helpful both to us and our dog, the food and service were perfect. The atmosphere was convivial and relaxing. I recommend the tasting menu with their recommended wine or beer pairings. We'll be returning to Rome satisfied. If you're ever in the Trabocchi Coast, definitely stop by. A friendly recommendation.
