12/07/2026: The food is very good, typical of Abruzzo. I ate typical dishes such as sheep's milk stew called "pecorino al callaro" and "sagne al ragù" with 3 types of meat, it's very good, and the saffron ricotta ravioli are also very good, go and try them.

The food is commendable for its quality, but in my humble opinion, it lacks that extra "push" to enhance and make the dishes unique. 11/06/2026: Thank you for such a great lunch!! We arrived here after a long bike ride along the coast... And the host Antonello was very welcoming and friendly , we felt like being a guest at their home! Food was absolutely delicious and really big portions, we also got plenty of toasted bread with tasty olive oil for "scarpeta" . Everything was very fresh and home-made. He called everyone out in the backyard to show us some wild boar and when we left he offered to refill our water bottles with cold water for the way back..really memorable food, host and location! Happy to have been there and met the owner

10/06/2026: Today, wandering along the Vasto coastline in search of something different, we found ourselves at "Il Corsaro," a place steeped in history, a wealth of family history. Antonello is a special person who puts his heart and soul into what he does, welcoming you into his home and serving you as a friend, not a customer (here, you're not just a number). We ate divinely, dishes cooked just like they used to, authentic flavors and no unnecessary frills, all prepared by Antonello's sweet life partner (I apologize, but I don't remember her name right now). We'll be back soon!

02/08/2026: Absolutely worth a try! Top-notch local cuisine (even vegetarian friendly), local ingredients (their fabulous olive oil), incredibly friendly staff, excellent value, and a charming location between Pennadomo and Roccascalegna, both well worth a visit.

26/07/2026: We had a fabulous day, pampered by Mr. Tonino. With his super-delicious cheeses, a Montepulciano wine that went down by itself, the delicious olive oil, and everything else. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff. And I almost forgot to say thank you for the nap in the garden!

Impeccable service, a refined and welcoming atmosphere, and the five-course tasting menu for €60 per person is truly phenomenal: high-quality, seasonal ingredients, beautifully presented, delicious, balanced dishes, and generous portions. It was a five-star experience, and we'll definitely be back!
