Pizza Shock In Ortona

Inspired by the counter, we went in to try a piece and ended up eating four!!! Exquisite pizza, very light. We later discovered that the owner is a multiple-time world champion... absolutely worth trying!

Massimo isn't just a pizza champion. As soon as I walked in, he welcomed me into his modest establishment, where one could truly say "the habit doesn't make the man." He sat down at the table with me and we had a pleasant conversation. Then I trusted him and relied on him, and with very little guidance from me, he made a fantastic pizza, not too thick, crispy but also soft. Congratulations, Massimo, and thank you. I came here on the recommendation of a Pescara acquaintance. I can only say I'd give it 10 stars, not five. I ordered a slice of pizza with sausage and mushrooms, and with the first bite, I saw Valhalla, the best pizza dough I've ever eaten. I'll definitely be back before I leave. Congratulations, I've never had such a good and light pizza. 10/10
