What can I say, 5 stars are too few to describe the owner's welcome, the choice of menu and the quality of the food prepared. Osteria found by chance during a tour of the hills of VASTO, the owner Marcello is knowledgeable about wines, cuisine, oil and a good advisor. I am not used to giving reviews, but this Osteria is worth 2 stars. I recommend it to everyone who is in area I am from FERRARA..

Siamo appena usciti dal Ristorante, finalmente un buon posto dove si mangia cibo cucinato con grande cura e dedizione. Lo chef ci ha illustrato i piatti ed è venuto spesso a parlare con noi, ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio. Tutto molto speciale, dall’ antipasto dell’Osteria alla carne. Io personalmente ho mangiato la pancetta al mosto, buonissima cotta al punto giusto con la cotenna croccante. Prezzo molto onesto. Ci torneremo sicuramente! 😊😊

Sono tornato dopo un anno e confermo quanto già publicato Un posto che ti fa sentire felicemente a casa Grande Marcello e tutto il suo staff Un ambiente familiare dove si trovano ottimo piatti eseguiti da una cucina selezionata e ricercata In ogni piatto si percepisce l’amore e la passione di chi ama fare il proprio mestiere Complimenti a tutto lo staff ed alla grande professionalità e simpatia di Marcello Grazie

Osteria molto accogliente a livello familiare. Il proprietario Marcello è il re della cucina e la sua padronanza nello spiegare i piatti è unica. Menù ricco di proposte e soprattutto con prodotti di stagione. Tutti i piatti sono di altissimo livello. Da provare

15/02/2024: Yesterday on the occasion of Valentine's Day my wife and I had lunch in this place, we were pleasantly surprised by the truly excellent quality food, the generous portions accompanied by an excellent red wine, the beautiful small place that are always the best, from the friendliness and kindness of the owner who is always attentive without ever being intrusive, the price in line with what we ate, we will certainly return and I highly recommend it.
09/01/2024: Locanda storica a due passi dal Castello Ducale che fu teatro di giornate buie per l’Italia durante la Seconda guerra mondiale. Alla Taverna si mangia bene in un ambiente raccolto e familiare, dove le foto appese e altri ricordi testimoniano l’apprezzamento di cui il locale gode da lungo tempo. Cucina della tradizione accompagnata da una cantina che fa onore ai produttori locali. Qui le pallotte cacio e ove sono così grandi e buone che vengono servite come secondo, e non antipasto. Una sosta sicura in un borgo affascinante.
