06/09/2025: Authentic cream brioche, with excellent custard! Cakes filled with exquisite creams, as are the pastries! Here, you can still find the originality of the pastry shop. The place is spotless and the staff are welcoming.

31/03/2025: Prodotti di ottima qualità, il pane è veramente super, leggero e gustoso. Il Polpo cbt veramente eccezionale, anche gli altri panini che abbiamo preso molto buoni. Abbiano mangiato più di una volta in questo posto e siamo sempre rimasti soddisfatti, il costo, a mio parere, è più che corretto.

09/04/2025: Ottimo posto a pochi minuti da Gardaland (e Gardaland hotel). Abbiamo mangiato una pizza molto buona vista lago. Il dehor è ben tenuto e il servizio eccellente. Prezzi più che onesti. Noi ci siamo stati una sera di aprile, ma sicuramente merita anche di più di giorno durante la bella stagione.

23/05/2025: Rather than Wine Friends it should be called Wine Enemies since the customers are not exactly polite. Or at least with the Italian ones, since with foreigners on the contrary they are almost flattered. My embarrassing (for them) story begins on a Friday afternoon when I enter this shop to buy a nice birthday present and choose a nice bottle of local wine. My bad luck was sharing the space with two Japanese customers to whom the kind (so to speak) lady was proposing her wines. I approached asking if I could look too, since I was interested in that part of the shelf they were looking at. She said yes, with an apparently very kind manner - this is true. But it was an affected kindness because I had already seen that the lady didn't like it too much. The worst was when I moved the paper string of a wine without obviously touching the bottle, to read the price well. I repeat: the price tag on the string. The lady, in front of the Japanese customers, looked at me and said "please, don't touch the bottles". Between shocked and frozen I look at her apologizing and saying that I hadn't touched the bottle but the price tag. And she replies that (quote) "I have so many bottles, if all the customers touched them you can imagine". In the meantime imagine what. Given that it's a hole in the wall shop and the bottles are so close to each other that it would be impossible to move them. After that, showing this rudeness towards a customer who didn't do anything and, on the contrary, making fun of the Japanese customers, well that says a lot. So much so that I left and - dulcis in fundo of sadness - she even opened the door for me "because it's heavy". Adding insult to injury. Now I understand why that shop was empty. I went to another shop: I was able to take the bottles, see the labels, get help from a very polite girl who also let me taste the wine and explain it to me, advising me and guiding me in the purchase. Lady: you have a lot to learn. And remember that the Japanese come only once, the Italians return. If you treat yourself well. It is not his case.

24/12/2024: Bullying is common here and teachers don't care. Educators don't know what they're doing there. Really bad school.

03/10/2024: Today 3 October, my class was invited to represent Cangrande at an event in the presence of Luca Zaia and the Mayor of Verona. Once we got there, there was no room and they expected us to spend 4 hours standing up against the wall, among other things in the presence of students in class with joint problems. Once we noticed the inconvenience caused by several students and teachers of that school who expected us to get our things as quickly as possible, we took our things and left.

18/10/2025: I didn't like the slice of pizza. Then a slice of pizza and a Coke for €6.

20/12/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo hotel in quanto ci siamo trovati con una coppia di amici che era alloggiata lì. A parte il sontuoso buffet di verdure, formaggi e affettati la cena non si è dimostrata all’altezza. A parte i primi che erano buoni, i secondi mamma mia. In tre hanno preso il baccalà e lo hanno rimandato indietro. Io ho preso un petto di pollo alla griglia che mi è stato servito in modo del tutto anonimo. Impiattamento scarso scondito e senza nessun accompagnamento. Noi siamo stati ospiti di questo hotel un paio di volte in passato. Niente da dire sulle stanze, sulla SPA, sulle piscine.Ristorante anche no grazie.

08/05/2024: Das Ambiente ist angenehm familiär, die Speisenfolge wird individuell abgestimmt. Flotter Service und wohlschmeckende Speisen. Allerdings wird mit dem Hinweis auf "alles biologisch" der Preis etwas üppiger als es sein müsste.

22/04/2024: Accolti da Marco e dalla sua famiglia in modo caloroso e ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Camere accoglienti e silenziose,immerse in un paesaggio incantevole. Cena che predilige la qualita alla varietà, notevole la pasta fatta in casa, con la farina a km 0 e uova delle loro galline con ricetta della nonna,che utilizzava erbette spontanee e sugo di pomodoro. Colazione varia ed abbondante. Ritorneremo sicuramente!

19/04/2025: The best bread in Verona? I'd say yes, not to mention the kindness of the people who work there. Paola and Sara are incredible, always attentive and helpful. They've also been supplying us with bread for the San Massimo festival for years, and they've never had a problem, especially considering the quantity requested and the last-minute orders. Even though they're not exactly convenient to our neighborhood, we're happy to travel back and forth to get similar quality.
