06/04/2024: A wonderful inn where we will definitely vacation again! The location and the view are top. The hosts very friendly. You immediately felt comfortable. The rooms are modernly furnished and very clean. There is something for everyone at breakfast, the selection is large. Highly recommended: go out to eat in the restaurant in the evening and enjoy the wine from our own winery - incredibly delicious! Thank you for the wonderful days with you! :)

18/03/2024: A place to linger with a great view and a rustic restaurant. The dumplings are really tasty and recommended. The Kaiserschmarrn is the best I've ever had.

12/01/2024: Great atmosphere and friendly service. Food very tasty, coleslaw perhaps needed a little more seasoning. A bit more expensive than other cabins in the area.

02/04/2024: The pizza wasn't bad, even if it was small. My mother who doesn't eat pizza ordered a mixed platter of cold cuts and cheeses, 15.5 euros. 3/4 pieces of cheese and 5.5 slices of salami arrive. No ham, no speck. We ask the waiter to confirm that it is the 15.5 euro dish because he probably forgot the "cured meats". It wasn't a platter of salami, but of cured meats! He replies that everything is correct and if we want he will bring us another one. I mean, do you want to fool us a second time? No thanks, never again. I believe that those who are in contact with the public must always maintain a positive attitude, never polemical and never arrogant. This person was quite the opposite, touchy, annoying and irritating. Luckily I live very far away and will never see them again, but it's better to warn anyone who risks entering.

06/04/2024: The place would be nice, the view would be great. Unfortunately mass processing, staff with no interest in the guest. Well, it's better to have a picnic on the bench in front of the alpine pasture.

14/03/2024: Discovered by chance during a hike in the 1960s, the hotel-restaurant on the Ritten has become my favorite place in South Tyrol. Beautifully located at a height, you have a fantastic view of the Dolomites with Schlern, Rosengarten and Latemar. The restaurant is lovingly and stylishly furnished. Excellent food and well-tempered drinks, served by very friendly staff, make your stay a pleasure. For me, this place, with its large terrace and meadow, is always worth a visit whenever I am in South Tyrol. A place that magically attracts me.

10/03/2024: Only had lunch, the grilled meat was tough and poorly cut. I did not like it.

06/03/2024: First of all you have to know that the inside of the restaurant in combination with the terrasse is huge. As the restaurant cannot manage this amount with local staff they hire from eastern europe. They speak little german and seem all a bit sad. The food was still good though!

23/01/2024: Four of us were there on New Year's Eve for a multi-course meal with fireworks and it was fantastic! Great rooms, the best place in the place and the food was fantastically put together and absolutely worth the price. We felt VERY comfortable and will definitely come back again and again, even outside of New Year's Eve of course!

30/03/2024: The camper pitches cost €15 per night. Unfortunately, you can't even throw an empty milk carton in the garbage because there is no garbage disposal. No water and no disposal for the toilets. The people are really nice but what's the point of spending €15 when I can stand on every corner for zero euros? We travel a lot with our 6.30 m panel van. We often ask at restaurants if we can spend the night in the parking lot when we go out to eat there. Actually, we have never received a rejection. Maybe the owners should take this as an example.

25/12/2023: Wow! Hier werden Dinge gemischt, die auf den ersten Blick nicht zusammenpassen, aber super lecker sind. Das Kalb war für unseren Geschmack etwas zu rot, aber da hätte man fragen können. Das Forellenfilet war großartig auf Linsen und unter schwarzem Rettich, ungewöhnlich und speziell. Sehr sehr lecker! Der Nachtisch war nicht meins, aber das macht nichts. Man muss auch mal was Neues probieren und Einheitsbrei gibt es hier nicht! Zum Wein: man kann sich beraten lassen und darf dann probieren, oder man geht in den Weinraum und sucht sich etwas aus. Das habe ich bis jetzt noch nie erlebt. Toll! Obwohl ich mich etwas überfordert fühlte, weil ich mich nicht als Weinkenner bezeichnen würde.

Very precise customer service, large and relaxing location, pleasant. Extraordinary, skilled, brilliant waitress capable of serving food and drinks

09/03/2024: Typical and welcoming mountain hut in Val Casies which can be reached with a pleasant walk of a couple of hours from Santa Maddalena You can taste typical local dishes in the heat of the stove.
