19/10/2025: We ordered two pizzas and two other dishes. We were told the meals couldn't be served at the same time. There were about eight other guests in the room at the time. My O Sole Mio pizza was served after just a short time, which surprised me greatly. It was by far the worst pizza I've ever had. Reheated, with rock-hard dough that was charred around the edges and dried-up cheese. After a while, the other two dishes were served. After about 30 minutes, the second pizza was served fresh, as were those of the other guests. A sign that my O Sole Mio was already old. The apricot dumplings we ordered for dessert were served half-raw. Absolute cheek.

23/09/2025: We had dinner there, and I highly recommend it. We've rarely experienced such super-friendly service, and the food was absolutely delicious. We'd be happy to come back.

12/09/2025: We went to the restaurant two evenings in a row. It was simply fantastic. Moritz and his team are the kind of hosts you'd expect. The food was incredibly good, unobtrusive, and, to our taste, extremely delicious. Moritz recommended three wines to us on both evenings: South Tyrolean vintages, just like the food, 100%, not obtrusive but perfectly fitting, and all three wines complemented the meal, as wine should: "accompanying and supporting where possible." For those who want to spend a carefree evening with good food and excellent drinks, I can only say: "Go for it!"

The dining room is very beautiful and traditional, and the restaurant/hotel is located in the town square, so we found parking easily. Thank you 🌷

21/10/2025: Excellent and hearty typical Tyrolean dishes, their beer is something exceptional. Tonight I had cream of pumpkin soup with ginger croutons, shank with sauerkraut and a speck dumpling. The house beer was really good. Yesterday I tried the Augustiner, which is one of my favorites, but there's really no comparison. Congratulations to this beer garden. To finish, an apricot grappa 😋🤤

Each course was a small work of art – subtly seasoned, with a masterful balance of freshness, depth, and aromatic diversity. The herbs played a central role and weren't simply used as decoration, but skillfully showcased, delicately, boldly, and intensely. You could taste with every bite that the cooking here is done with true passion. The meat was an absolute highlight – perfectly cooked to perfection, buttery tender, and of outstanding quality. It had that certain something you rarely experience – aromatic and slightly crispy on the outside, juicy and full of flavor on the inside. The service was also friendly, attentive, and competent – ​​you felt completely in good hands. Anyone who loves good food and values ​​quality and creativity shouldn't miss this experience. I'll definitely be back!

15/09/2025: My partner and I opted for the 5-course surprise menu. He went for the classic version, I went vegetarian, and we were both absolutely thrilled! Each course was lovingly prepared, perfectly balanced in flavor, and simply a real treat. We particularly appreciated that they asked us about any allergies or ingredients we didn't like at the beginning, which they then took into account when putting together the dishes. The value for money was also excellent! You're really happy to pay for the quality and creativity of the dishes here. The service was also wonderful! Our server was very attentive without being intrusive, allowing us to enjoy the evening in a relaxed manner. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and will definitely be back!

10/10/2025: A deep bow! Very, very delicious food and—this is the best and most precious thing—a whole lot of warmth. You have to experience it and be there to see it for yourself. Be sure to make reservations weeks in advance. You'll only find a spot if you're very lucky.

12/10/2025: A wonderful spot under vine arbors and walnut trees. Very friendly and prompt service. Everything was perfect, and we were completely satisfied! Prices were very reasonable.

29/09/2025: Very friendly and attentive service, exceptionally great and always delicious pizzas; the plum dumplings are divine and regionally renowned. Wiener schnitzel is once again made from pork (previously turkey). The view is, of course, a dream. We love it here.

05/10/2025: One of my favourite ‘huts’ in the area. Friendly service, excellent hot chocolate (especially with cream and rum!) and possibly the best Kaiserschmarrn in the Dolomites! Amazing views from the terrace or the lawn overlooking the mountains.

30/09/2025: Wonderful, both for the view and the style and interior decor of the refuge. Lunch prices are remarkably high, having risen as is the case with almost all refuges these days.

16/10/2025: We came here for breakfast and it was simply fantastic! A very nice bakery, very stylish and harmoniously decorated, as it's also a small café. The waitresses are both very friendly and patient, especially when you're a bit lost in the hustle and bustle. The rolls taste excellent, and the orange juice is truly freshly squeezed. It's like biting right into the fruit. If we could give it more stars, we would.

21/09/2025: I met guests who were on holiday in Taisten. They were enthusiastic and they used the bus service for their hikes. This is now stress-free holiday fun in South Tyrol. I think it's great. The guests were enthusiastic and I would also like to forward you to the village cafe...it looks very inviting.
