We had a wonderful week at Hotel Unterschattmeier and can wholeheartedly recommend it. We were particularly impressed by the newly renovated rooms, the fantastic location with its stunning views, and the welcoming, family atmosphere. The absolute highlight, however, was the cuisine – every day we enjoyed freshly prepared, incredibly delicious dishes made with great attention to detail. We have never experienced such quality and flavor in any other hotel. We would love to return!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Hotel Unterschattmair! The stunning location with its breathtaking view of Merano is simply unique. Beautiful hiking trails begin right at the doorstep – ideal for anyone who loves nature and relaxation. This family-run hotel impresses with its exceptional warmth and service, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The rooms are superbly equipped, spotlessly clean, and offer truly breathtaking views. The food is an absolute highlight: The owner conjures up delicious dishes every day, each one a delight! And then there's the excellent, estate-grown wine – simply perfect. The pool area is also fantastic, especially the infinity whirlpool with its panoramic view, which is incredibly inviting. Friendliness and service are truly paramount here – you can't help but feel completely at ease! 🤭
