Went to Unterschattmair today at 3:45 p.m. and were allowed to sit at a “cat table” in the middle. Since all tables not occupied by other guests have already been set for the house guests' dinner. (E.g. on the parapet) at coffee time! Been coming back for 40 years, but maybe not anymore.

We spent a wonderful holiday here. The hotel has a fantastic location and the rooms are very comfortable and modern. A highlight is the balcony in the room and the terrace, where we were able to eat in the morning and evening due to the great weather. From here you have a great view of Merano and the mountains. Everything is very clean and you felt absolutely comfortable. The food was incredibly tasty and varied. The employees and owners left nothing missing, friendliness is very important here. We were thrilled and will be back!!!

14/01/2024: Very nice guesthouse with breakfast and an excellent restaurant.
27/10/2023: Sieht einladend aus. Unsere Reservation wurde nicht gefunden. Getränke kamen schnell aber auf das Essen warteten wir 45 Min. Schnipo kam sogar noch etwas später. Auf unsere Reklamation wurde nicht eingegangen.

16/08/2023: Cena romantica con la mia compagna, prenotiamo un paio di giorni prima ed al momento dell'arrivo in terrazza ci accolgono dei goccioloni di un imminente temporale: decidiamo di non rischiare e decidiamo di cenare all'interno n una delle stube. Subito ben accolti dal numeroso personale per le bevande dopo poco arriva l'Oste Christian (Oste con la Maiuscola!) che ci spiega i piatti serviti quella sera ed optiamo per un tagliere misto, dei ravioli del posto ed una guancietta. Tutto eccezionale, ma la guancietta era STRATOSFERICA, tenerissima e con un'esplosione di bontà: Ottima la compagnia di Christian che di tanto in tanto viene a trovarti e racconta le vicessitudin del maso. Posto da preservare e mantenere così com'é
30/07/2023: Un maso un po’ difficile da trovare, proprietario simpatico e cibo perfettamente del luogo. Vale una visita. Senza troppe richieste, lasciatevi consigliare.
