Every time we visit Merano, we look forward to an evening at 357!
After enjoying a delicious meal at Sissi with Andrea Fenoglio, we wanted to experience his second restaurant.
Simple, understated, yet imbued with a special charm. The service and bar staff are incredibly friendly! The house wine is elegant, and the food is superb! Whether it's salads, lardo, pasta, pizza, or espresso, Italy feels right at home here!
05/01/2026: We've been to this place twice, trying both the pizza and the food. Both times, the quality of the ingredients was excellent.
The platters, pizzas, and the Vera Cotoletta alla Milanese were completely satisfying.
The craft beer is truly delicious, and both Rolly and the entire staff welcomed us with great warmth and professionalism.
We'll definitely be back 🤗

05/01/2026: We reached this refuge on foot, starting from the cable car (about 50 minutes). The food was good and home-cooked; the only complaint was that the meat for one of our group arrived after we'd all finished lunch; perhaps it would have been better to let them know the cooking time.
Otherwise, everything was delicious and highly recommended.

15/11/2025: An overnight stay is a wonderful experience. Right beneath a glacier with a phenomenal view. The rooms are excellent. The food is superb.
It's physically demanding at high altitude, but definitely worth it. We were there in the summer on our way home from the Dolomites. It's a beautiful route (by car).
09/11/2025: We were here in first week of October. It.was.awesome. Spaghetti and pizzoccheri for lunch followed by strudel and coffee. Best view ever. Snow on the mountains. Wonderful staff. We were in (metaphorical) heaven. Couldnt fault it. Highly recommended.

Anyway, thank you again because you worked so hard and worked so hard to find room for all of us.
Anyway, tell the waitress that telling a customer "Darling," our cocktails are okay.

15/09/2025: You have to drive or hike a bit to get up there. But it's worth it. Beautiful views and good South Tyrolean food. We sat outside and received friendly service.

01/01/2026: The restaurant prioritizes regional products, thus supporting local farmers and producers, as well as reducing environmental impact through shorter transport routes. The price-performance ratio is excellent, especially considering the generally high prices in South Tyrol.
We will definitely return.
The dishes are deliciously prepared, and the quality is truly impressive.

05/01/2026: I was fortunate enough to stay at this Berggasthaus in Val Badia in early January 2026, and everything was absolutely fantastic: the kind and charming staff and owners, the comfortable beds in the attic dorm with a small balcony overlooking the full moon, the clean bathrooms with hot showers, the fabulous dinner in a relaxing atmosphere, and the well-stocked breakfast with local products and a wide selection. I hope to return someday. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

05/01/2026: Beautiful place with fresh and tasty food. The staff was also very kind, and the landscape did not disappoint. I will definitely be back for longer hikes and more goulash soup!
17/10/2025: We enjoyed delicious dumplings and apple fritters. A beautiful view of the valley, friendly service, and one of the few alpine farms still open in mid-October. Lucky for us!

The farmer's omelette was quite good (it's a hearty pancake).
The Kaiserschmarrn wasn't a hit. It was also a regular pancake, so to speak.
No beaten egg whites were folded in to make it nice and fluffy. Raisins were also missing, in our opinion.

18/11/2025: Waalrast is always our first stop when we arrive in Lana for our beloved South Tyrol holidays. I've known this restaurant since 2006, and even as a little boy, I was captivated by the stunning view.
The food is very traditional and delicious.
You can also enjoy Waalrast as a rest stop after admiring the adjacent Brandis Waalweg trail with its beautiful location and breathtaking views.
It's simply a must-visit on every one of our South Tyrol holidays, and a visit always brings back wonderful memories.
The staff are very friendly and attentive.

06/11/2025: We have been guests at the Schießstand restaurant for over 20 years during our holidays and know the Morandell family personally. Since then, they have provided outstanding gastronomic services in Tramin, further improving their service through new concepts. The pizzas and dishes are still top-notch; a visit to the Schießstand is still a MUST!!!!
