01/01/2026: The restaurant prioritizes regional products, thus supporting local farmers and producers, as well as reducing environmental impact through shorter transport routes. The price-performance ratio is excellent, especially considering the generally high prices in South Tyrol.
We will definitely return.
The dishes are deliciously prepared, and the quality is truly impressive.

07/01/2026: Isolde and her team are excellent hosts! The service, friendliness, helpfulness, and quality are top-notch! Located at the end of the Corno Nero/Doladizza slope, this location is strategically located for hikers and skiers alike! Definitely worth a try!
29/12/2025: What can I say! We went here for lunch after a wonderful walk from the Berghotel Jochgrimm. The food here is divine, with both traditional and non-traditional dishes, and the quality is simply excellent!!! Excellent! The kids, who normally don't eat everything, asked for seconds! Well done, well done, well done!

19/01/2026: If you want to eat typical, delicious, and plentiful dishes, this is the place to be. It's not a Michelin-starred restaurant, and there's no kitchen crew, so the stars are related to the rustic, family-friendly atmosphere. I think it was the best dinner I've had in these parts, in any case. The dishes were beautiful and delicious, the house wine was up to par, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

The farmer's omelette was quite good (it's a hearty pancake).
The Kaiserschmarrn wasn't a hit. It was also a regular pancake, so to speak.
No beaten egg whites were folded in to make it nice and fluffy. Raisins were also missing, in our opinion.

09/12/2025: We were lucky. It's not easy to get a table here without a reservation. The ambiance is very stylish, and you immediately feel at home. You can tell right away that the two waiters love their jobs, just like the chef who conjures up an explosion of flavor on the plates. We haven't been served such delicious food in a long time. This restaurant is a true temple of culinary delights 😋
22/10/2025: We always love eating at Christoph's trattoria. You just have to know the two waiters, and you'll get absolutely everything you need; you're always welcome to ask. They can be a bit brusque at times, but I smile past it because I know they don't mean it. The food is truly magnificent, no matter what you order. Christoph's sister and her kitchen team are outstanding.
Reservations are essential; ask nicely; they always try to accommodate. We'll be back.

14/01/2026: I've been a guest at this refuge for over 25 years. It's spectacular! Both the location and the food. One of the most beautiful places in the world at the foot of my favorite mountain in the Dolomites... Ciao Tre Scarperi!
Come visit Maria, she's very kind! But be patient, because it's not always easy to find a table!
10/01/2026: This quaint refuge nestled in the beautiful Fiscalina Valley can be reached after an hour's mostly flat hike from Bad Moos. The food was DELICIOUS, and I can't wait to return! We had the salsify soup and dumplings, truly unforgettable! The service was also fast and friendly. It's worth considering that this is a fairly popular refuge, and since they don't take reservations, you might end up on a waiting list, but fortunately, it fills up fairly quickly.
Highly recommended!

18/11/2025: Waalrast is always our first stop when we arrive in Lana for our beloved South Tyrol holidays. I've known this restaurant since 2006, and even as a little boy, I was captivated by the stunning view.
The food is very traditional and delicious.
You can also enjoy Waalrast as a rest stop after admiring the adjacent Brandis Waalweg trail with its beautiful location and breathtaking views.
It's simply a must-visit on every one of our South Tyrol holidays, and a visit always brings back wonderful memories.
The staff are very friendly and attentive.
