07/05/2026: Good, traditional cuisine with a great view; the waterfall trail is highly recommended.
03/05/2026: Delicious food and what a beautiful location; to get there, you do have to climb a very steep hill (approx. 5 minutes), so it is not accessible by car. Parking is available at the golf course.
The food is delicious and the hospitality is amazing. We have visited Waalrast 4 times now and it is always good. Thank you for the good times and the tasty food.

03/05/2026: Beautiful alpine pasture with fantastic panoramic views.
Friendly service. Traditional Austrian cuisine. We've rarely eaten such good roast beef on an alpine pasture; the vegetables were perfectly cooked. A big compliment to the kitchen.
We'll definitely be back.

19/04/2026: We were on a day trip to Lana and had reserved a table at the Traube restaurant. It wasn't really necessary that day, but you never know. The restaurant is about 10 minutes from the town center, unfortunately located at a roundabout – which makes the noise level in the small beer garden quite high. However, the food was fantastic – it was very difficult to choose, as so many dishes appealed to us – but that gives us a reason to come back. One minor drawback was the long wait for the bill at the end, even though only three tables were occupied.
04/04/2026: It was absolutely wonderful. The food was incredibly good and the team was very friendly.
Highly recommended!

03/05/2026: In the heart of Lana, for example, lies the Restaurant Stadele. Chef Matthias Wenin focuses on simple yet sophisticated cuisine, incorporating herbs from his own garden. These herbs are particularly delicious on the wild herb spring salad, followed by potato and wild garlic gnocchi with asparagus and shrimp, and then a veal sirloin steak with garden spinach as the main course. A chocolate slice with raspberries and rhubarb rounds off the meal. Stylish tableware and a relaxed atmosphere make the restaurant a popular spot with locals as well.
02/05/2026: Absolutely fantastic!
Superb service, delicious food, and a lovely atmosphere, especially here on the hidden garden terrace on the lower floor, overlooking the pretty garden where the fresh herbs come from.

01/07/2024: Leider war dieser Besuch unser Abschied vom Oberwirt, bzw. dem OW Lana. Das OW Lana war über viele Jahre während unserer Wanderurlaube unser Lieblingsrestaurant, das wir meist 3...4x besuchten, wenn wir eine Woche in Lana verbrachten. Traudi und Renato bewirteten uns immer hervorragen und auch die Angestellten waren überaus freundlich und nett. Und das Essen war ohnehin immer toll - und das in diesem wunderschönen Ambiente!
Leider hat das OW Lana nun seine Türen für immer geschlossen, was wir sehr bedauern. Wir wünschen Traudi und Renato daher für die Zukunft das Beste und hoffen, dass es Euch gut ergeht!

11/08/2024: Tavoli vuoti ma se non parli tedesco (siamo in Italia) ti portano ad un tavolo dietro l'angolo. Entrati Uscìti, meglio così perché a nemmeno cento metri abbiamo trovato un ristorante elegante ma molto bello e pulito. Ho detto tutto. Prima ed ultima esperienza
