We went to the restaurant on our wedding day. We had a wonderful evening; everything was perfect. The ambiance, the friendly welcome, the impeccable service, and the outstanding and creative cuisine with all the dishes we chose were all wonderful. The price-performance ratio was also very reasonable. Highly recommended; we would definitely return. Best regards

We had a truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you feel instantly welcome. The ambiance is impressive, clean, and cozy (homey). The food was outstanding and very creative. The ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality, and the dishes were beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed by the flavor: everything was perfectly seasoned and prepared with great attention to detail. The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very professional. You can tell that hospitality is a top priority here. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair for the high quality of the food and the great service. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

Family dinner... restaurant carved into the rock... very elegant, mediocre service, impeccable food, excellent quality and beautifully presented, prices in line with Merano which is not a cheap place.

An unforgettable culinary experience! The family-run Fassenkeller captivated me with its evocative atmosphere, carved into the rock, and superb dishes. The homemade tagliatelle with venison and blueberries were masterful, and the lamb, which I had enjoyed on a previous visit, was tender and expertly cooked. The kindness and helpfulness of the owners, who recommended places to visit and breakfast spots, made the experience even more special. Overall, a gem not to be missed!

25/03/2026: A true Tyrolean tale tucked into the mountains. This restaurant is less about dining and more about experiencing local heritage, lovingly run by a local family in one of the oldest houses in the region. For me, it was magical, a charming little hut with breathtaking views of a nearby monastery. The meal unfolded beautifully: a generous cheese board to start, followed by delicate spinach ravioli, and then a comforting cabbage dish served with rustic local bread. Dessert was simply exquisite. The only missing note was music, the space is so intimate and quiet that you can easily hear neighboring tables, which takes away slightly from the atmosphere. I personally loved the experience. That said, my husband and kids didn’t enjoy it as much. It’s far better suited for a romantic evening or a special night out with girlfriends rather than a family dinner.

You can immediately tell that they use high-quality ingredients and a lot of passion. We've rarely eaten so well! But the incredibly warm and welcoming staff deserves special mention. It's rare to experience such attentive, friendly, and heartfelt service. You feel welcome and completely at ease from the very first moment. The entire ambiance is beautiful, cozy, and stylish – simply a place to relax and enjoy yourself. Everything here is just right: the food, the service, the atmosphere… simply top-notch! For us, it's definitely one of the best restaurants in Merano – we'll definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend Bistro Seven!
