04/06/2026: If you’re looking for authentic Italian pastries in Florence, this bakery is an absolute gem! The rosemary and raisin bun is simply incredible, the best pastry I tried during my stay. The lemon tartlets, strawberry tartlets, and every other pastry I tasted were equally delicious, full of authentic Italian flavor and made with great care. I enjoyed this bakery so much that I kept coming back to try something new, and every single pastry exceeded my expectations. 20/05/2026: We found this place through a recommendation from an Instagram reel. They treated us incredibly well, explained everything about the dishes, and the prices were very affordable. We loved it; everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

19/05/2026: Excellent value for money. An unpretentious place for lunch and dinner, but spacious and clean. Good food and generous portions. You serve yourself and put your tray away on special trolleys at the end of the meal. Free carafes of water are available. It's located on the first floor with stairs, so it's not suitable for wheelchair users. I ate well there and have been back. I recommend it 👍🏻

18/05/2026: I'm not Jewish, nor am I vegetarian. I wanted to experience a meal from a culture completely different from my own. Ruth's was exactly what I was looking for. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was great. I highly recommend the artichoke and the vegetable dish for two. The pita bread is also delicious.

03/04/2026: We visited many gelato places in Florence this visit (at least 7!) all based on reviews- and Il Procopio was hands-down the best. Particularly the Cremino which was 3 different chocolates with a shell on top of dark and white chocolate. It was the most amazing chocolate gelato/ice cream I’ve ever had. I’m sad that we only discovered it today on our last day here and they closed before we could go by again this evening and don’t open until tomorrow midday when we will already be gone so we can’t go a second time. It was THAT delicious. Much better than Perche No which was just mid/nothing special to us. Give the a try it was so so good if you are a chocolate lover especially!!

16/05/2026: I'd like to share our terrible experience at a place where we've been going for years to eat excellent pizza. Unfortunately, last night we received terrible treatment from the owner. There were nine of us, and we had booked well in advance for 8:00 PM. When we arrived at the pizzeria, they told us our table was occupied and we'd have to wait outside. That alone is questionable. However, we waited patiently. After waiting 25 minutes outside, I asked again, pointing out that we had booked and that it wasn't fair to make us wait outside for half an hour. The owner justified himself by saying that the customers at our table had promised to eat in half an hour, so it wasn't his fault if they were late. I pointed out that the pizzeria should allow at least an hour between servings, which prompted the owner to aggressively yell at me not to let him lose his patience. I didn't understand. Instead of acknowledging his mistake and apologizing, my daughter and I were accused of rudeness. We, who had booked regularly and were simply asked to honor our reservation, made them lose their patience! 🤔😡 Obviously, after that, we went to another pizzeria where we received much better treatment, although, alas, it didn't take much. Highly not recommended.

03/05/2026: Fixed menu and very limited seating. Impeccable service, always present and never intrusive. The atmosphere is very refined and typically Japanese. A small counter allows you to eat while watching the chef at work. Very few other tables. Each dish is an explosion of flavor. The menu doesn't need any additions, but if you'd like, there are two or three extra dishes to pair with those already on offer. The bao with fried prawns is excellent, as is the piadina with pork, ginger, and mint. To finish, a panna cotta with caramelized soy and all the kindness of the staff who pampered us throughout the dinner, offering us the opportunity to stay well beyond our reservation time thanks to a table conveniently set up outside for us. Unparalleled hospitality.

02/05/2026: After the change of chef, the quality has visibly dropped; the dishes lack creativity and lack the personality that had drawn us back repeatedly. The fish soup, in particular, was truly disappointing, with numerous bones. The only positive note was the dessert, which remained as good as ever, probably because it still retains its roots in the previous chef's creations. We hope this is just a transitional period, but right now the quality/experience ratio isn't up to expectations.

If you are looking for an authentic ristorante fiorentino with traditional cuisine and incredibly warm service, look no further than Osteria Pratellino. From the moment I walked in until the moment I left, it wasn’t just a meal; it was a true Florentine experience. I want to give a massive thank you to the whole team and especially the owner, Francesco. His passion and vast knowledge of regional wines and food are inspiring, and he is also a fantastic conversationalist who truly makes you feel at home. This is exactly the kind of place you want to find: an honest, high-quality escape from the usual tourist and Instagram traps of the city center. The extra leg stretch to get here is 100% worth it for the quality and hospitality you receive. I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Osteria Pratellino!

09/05/2026: My sister had her wedding reception at Lago Eventi. It's a charming place, and the restaurant with its windows overlooking the lake is a must. The menu was perfect for the occasion, and I especially recommend the pappardelle with wild boar ragù and the tagliata. They were especially attentive to special requests, like making tagliata well-done for a pregnant friend. Magnificent service. Marco, you're amazing!!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!

02/05/2026: We were guests at a wedding, and we were pleasantly surprised not only by the beautiful location, but also by the truly delicious food and the always smiling and friendly staff. Even the owner, with whom we chatted for a moment, reflects the personality of the place and the courtesy of the staff. We recommend it, and not just for events. The delicious gorgonzola and walnut maltagliati and the perfectly cooked arugula and parmesan steak are also included. 07/06/2026: A friendly place for all walkers. I was alone and they made me feel really comfortable (unlike another osteria that made me feel very uncomfortable). The staff is really kind and fun, the food is good, and it's a place where many walkers stop to eat, so go alone and leave with a group. Thank you so much!

29/03/2026: Excellent ice cream shop, but especially for its assortment of Sicilian pastries... cannoli and cassata, brioche (bbrosce in dialect) with ice cream, and other amazing delights for the palate and heaven for the soul. Never tried it? Then you're in hell!

12/05/2026: I happened upon them one evening, and besides the divine food, they made me feel right at home. Excellent service, super attentive to detail and respectful. I recommend them to anyone who wants to experience a royal experience while also feeling at home.
