16/11/2025: What a lovely place! The food was fantastic, 5 stars without a doubt! The service was friendly and helpful, if a little slow. But the setting... wow! The view of the lake is spectacular. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a party with friends. And if you need a place for your event, absolutely!

20/10/2025: I found myself in this place for an organized wedding, the staff were kind and helpful as bread, enchanting place, movie-like atmosphere, I highly recommend it to anyone, you made me spend one of the best evenings I've ever been out, compliments also to the chefs.

03/03/2026: A truly sensational experience. The fusion of Japanese tradition and Western ingredients creates unique, impeccably executed flavors. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The ability to observe the preparations directly from the counter is a much-appreciated added value. The sake pairing is also excellent, making the experience even more complete and memorable. Recommended for those seeking a unique, memorable evening. I will definitely be back to try the new seasonal menus.

12/10/2025: We had the fantastic florentine steak along with a primo pasta and it was perfect. Four adults and four kids and no request too difficult. Lovely service and delicious food!

04/03/2026: Self-service restaurant just steps from the Duomo. The building is a bit dated, but the prices are fair, and the food is plentiful and reasonably good. It's popular with tourists and those who work in the shops downtown. There are often lines, but the large crowds mean the food is always fresh.

17/12/2025: First of all, I'd like to confirm the poor hygiene noted by other customers: in the Margherita pizza I ordered, I actually found a hair embedded in the dough. It's certainly an acceptable pizza by Florentine standards (in a place like Florence, it doesn't take much...), but it has NOTHING to do with Neapolitan pizza. The dough may be organic, but it's dry and hard. At this point, I'd be better off buying a pizza from Conad for a third of that price. At least I won't find any surprises inside, and I won't pay a whopping €2.50 for the cover charge. P.S. I hope they'll do a thorough hygiene inspection sooner or later to ensure they're not adhering to the HACCP protocol!

21/11/2025: Absolutely the best pizza in Florence!! The owners are so sweet and hospitable and love to discuss their craft and ethos around the ingredients they select and use. Pizza is sourdough based and so delicious and full of flavor. Toppings are unique and seasonal, and they also have a great selection of bio/organic wines. My husband and I are here twice while in Florence and were so happy and content each time! A must go!!

12/02/2026: Really nice wine bar for locals and tourists alike. Great wine list and delicious snacks. The service was warm and welcoming and the atmosphere authentic. We spent a whole evening here and got everything we dreamed of in Florence.

25/11/2025: I celebrated my graduation here a few days ago, and besides the great service and the always delightful atmosphere, the dishes served were all delicious and unique. Plus, every time I return, they feature seasonal vegetables, which shows attention to the quality of the food. I highly recommend it! P.S. The carrot cake is phenomenal!

06/07/2025: The place is full of people, I sat on the top floor which was empty and all the tables were full of dirt and leftover food and drinks from customers. The whole time I was sitting here, not a single employee came up. The price is cheaper than other places but I was disappointed with the pastries. If you walk a few meters down the street you will reach other places, maybe at a slightly higher price in euros, but definitely delicious. The jam-filled croissant is completely empty and only filled at one point in the middle. I have eaten better cannelloni and spoliatella just down the street. The orange juice is indeed freshly squeezed. Because of the rush, the staff is not warm but does everything quickly and impatiently and there were also many misunderstandings during the selection of the three pastries. Disappointing.

20/10/2025: Reservations are essential at this small restaurant - especially if you are planning on being there during a busy season. The food is excellent - best fried artichokes in all of Italy. The staff was very friendly and even provided games for our littlest diners.

10/10/2025: The chef was really nice, but the head guy Simcha, the one with the white beard and hair, yelled at us at first. In the end, though, he started telling us about all the famous people who’ve eaten at his restaurant. Also, the bathrooms were clean — not sure what that other review was talking about when they said they were disgusting.

15/10/2025: We spent five nights there in September 2025. We were very bothered by the fact that the mattresses were completely worn out – unfortunately, this was quite uncomfortable and unpalatable, and the main reason why we wouldn't stay there again. However, we also found it somewhat disappointing that the owners – as well as the chef – were rather reserved. The ambience in the restaurant and breakfast room was very nice, and we had a delicious meal and enjoyed excellent wine. The food was truly magnificent. The breakfast was also wonderful. The service in the breakfast room was extremely friendly and accommodating. We can definitely recommend the hotel for dining!

06/03/2026: Italian biscuits have a texture somewhere between bread and biscuits. They're quite delicious; all three flavors are good and not too sweet. The cocoa flavor is nice, but the sugared almonds are just average. I like the original flavor the most. They're quite expensive; six small pieces cost six euros.

11/12/2025: Terrific osteria in our neighborhood. I was really impressed with the service (Thanks Nicola) the space and above all the food and mostly local wine choices from Tuscany. We had the Chianti Superiore which paired perfectly with 2 pasta primi and a bistecca secondi. I recommend the pistacchio cheesecake for dessert. One of my favorite places in Florence.

28/11/2025: The place is cute and welcoming, and the staff is very knowledgeable. Nicole was very friendly and extremely kind. Kudos to the chef, too; the pappardelle were delicious and the meat was very well cooked. I'll definitely be back.

24/01/2026: A small restaurant in Oltrarno, more popular with locals than tourists, as is the menu. Excellent dishes (the fried cod with stewed leeks is splendid, made with top-notch ingredients and perfectly cooked; the paccheri with cacciucco and tagliatelle with white ragù are delicious), the service is friendly (with all the good and bad aspects that come with it), and the location is simple but charming. The only minor drawback is the temperature, which is a few degrees below the ideal. A positive experience.
