Hidden gem in the heart of Greve in Chianti!! Second time we eat here and always a very warm welcome, delicious menu of homemade and regional products. View over vineyards, really a place to relax.

Enchanting place and flavors of times gone by. Unique location: the feeling is not that of being in a restaurant, but rather at a friend's house. Traditional cuisine with local products that change every day based on what the land has to offer. And if you lift your eyes from your plate you will be enchanted by the breathtaking view of the valley. A true delight for the eyes and palate!

I was there today for lunch on a Sunday surrounded by the greenery and beauty of these places. I felt at home, with tastes and flavors of "once upon a time". Congratulations

Ristorantino tipico toscano ricavato dall’abitazione privata del proprietario. L’atmosfera è infatti proprio quella di sentirsi “a casa”, anche perché vengono proposti piatti della cucina tradizionale con menu unico, al costo di €35,00 a persona (antipasto, primo, secondo, dessert e caffè, inclusi acqua e mezzo litro di vino). Gli ingredienti sono tutti a km 0 o quasi (prodotti dell’orto di proprietà oppure derivanti dai paesi limitrofi). La location è molto suggestiva, si mangia in giardino oppure in una piccola sala interna e fa da cornice una splendida vista sulle colline toscane. Il personale è molto gentile, disponibile, simpatico e attento ai dettagli. Straconsigliato!

Wow! What extraordinary beauty driving up to Alberto’s (IDesio) home restaurant. And the views at the restaurant even better. We had an amazing after noon at Alberto’s. The meal took approx 3 hours so be prepared for that. Everything was delicious. The cheese/ meat platter was the best we had on our trip to Tuscany , the lasagna delicious. This is Alberto’s home. You can see them preparing in their kitchen. The food is simple Tuscan cuisine similar to what I enjoyed when my Italian grandmother cooked for us growing up. They even served expresso in the same pot my grandmother used. Everyone gets their own pot along with biscotti and Italian liquor to dip the biscotti. Don’t miss this one. We hired a driver to bring us there. The roads are very curvy. If you include the bread , it’s 5 courses. It’s different every day. You get what Alberto makes that day. We had bread, cheese and meat platter, lasagna, thinly sliced pork with carrots, expresso and biscotti. Just wonderful. $35 euros.
