Beautiful setting and excellent food. A set four-course menu with coffee and wine at a reasonable price. Only local produce and a real homemade feel. Very warm service :)

We came by accident and explored this gem an afternoon. Service was nice, barely any waiting time, and we had an amazing view. We told we were vegetarians, and didn’t expect much. But we got served different courses that amazed us and left us full and happy. Fresh vegetables from their farm, and some lovely red wine and olive oil from their farm. It was definitely worth the visit and money. ❤️

Fantastic restaurant, nestled within the walls of Montefioralle Castle, overlooking the Chianti hills. Relaxing atmosphere, traditional Tuscan cuisine...delicious.
An experience to repeat as soon as possible.
If you're visiting Chianti, I recommend lunch at Desio. You'll be enchanted by the cuisine and the view.

The owner was present throughout our wonderful experience of dining at a perfect spot overlooking the Tuscan Chianti hillside. The food was all so delicious and authentic. A truly perfect experience!!

I booked expecting to simply find a fantastic location, but it turned out to be something more than just a restaurant: it's an authentic Tuscan cuisine experience using locally sourced ingredients. The menu is set based on the season but still attentive to your tastes. The friendly atmosphere, and the idea of bringing guests to experience home-cooked, quality flavors, was a success: unique!!! I highly recommend it, we'll definitely be back.

Breathtaking views, a friendly atmosphere, and excellent food. We'd been here with friends two years ago and had a wonderful time; it didn't disappoint this time either. We highly recommend it. 😊
