06/04/2024: Named for the nearby bridge Gelateria La Carraia has been serving Florence since 1990, a second location doing little to attenuate queues for Gelato made the old way and served by pleasant staff for just €1 per spatula. Family owned with a small footprint, just seventeen flavors in metal canisters behind glass, guests make their selections amidst striped wallpaper before taking cones or cups outside to enjoy along the river. Popular for Semifreddo, though no less so for the Gelato itself, fans will find the base creamy but light and whether flecked with Coconut or harnessing Nuts each bite tastes pure thanks to a lack of preservatives or excess Sugar.

24/03/2024: Very good ice cream with the possibility of also enjoying yogurt and the addition of whipped cream on each product. They also have a good variety of semifreddos and ice cream cakes. Friendly and polite staff. Unfortunately, the environment does not allow you to consume food inside because there is not much space (in the event of a rainy day, you have to eat in the car)

04/04/2024: 5* in everything. A great discovery in the corner of the Synagogue, of the 3 days in Florence, we had 2 lunches here. Very friendly and excellent food.

04/04/2024: Ruths is an amazing spot in a good location in Florence. Quaint and relaxing with a wonderful atmosphere. The type of place that makes you want to sit there for hours

07/04/2024: I entered this very large place for the first time, with many tables and chairs for the convenience of eating on the spot. I tried their flatbread, but I wasn't very impressed. It was a little chewy and tasted more like bread than squash. I may have had the wrong day, so I'll be back to try it again and try the pizza too.

02/04/2024: You can make the mistake of including chicken in a large veg salad (probably done in good faith) but the same redone salad, which has around ten ingredients on the menu, was mainly lettuce with traces of everything else, including beans and pineapple.

31/03/2024: Visited twice with adults, teenagers and a three year old girl. Something indescribable, starting from the hand-made pasta, to the second courses. We took the roast (I had never eaten roast liver and it surprised me) and the fried meat (lamb, sausage, rabbit liver, chicken, rabbit, chop and bread); all accompanied by fried artichokes and fried potatoes (not pre-cooked and not frozen). Good desserts. Very honest price. Last note: the staff are friendly and friendly. Well done

01/03/2024: Good and refined dishes, the French ones are very good. Attentive service carried out with kindness. Well furnished room with the only flaw being the strong smell of sewage that seems to come from the bathrooms.
