30/11/2025: A vegan celiac’s dream!!! Everything is gluten free, from the gelato to the cones to the hot chocolate. I was amazed that they even had a non-sorbet option for vegan gelato: peanut butter chocolate (DROOL). It was so good I came back before they closed for another scoop. I chatted with Francesco a bunch about how it can be a challenge to find good options as a celiac but I was so grateful for all the delicious gluten free food in Florence. He told me he isn’t even celiac but believes it’s important to provide a product that everyone can enjoy, and I appreciated that so much 🥹❤️ He even sent me off with some cookies to take back with me. This is a must visit if you’re a celiac or gluten free or even if you aren’t, because the gelato is fantastic! I can’t wait to come back.

25/11/2025: The staff is friendly and the taste is delicious. I don't remember the name, but the base is delicious and the chocolate and hazelnut flavors are the best when you chew on it. My husband said that the gelato here was the best.

17/10/2025: One of the best gelatos in Florence. Extraordinary "mordilatte" flavor. The gelateria offers many new flavors, such as a themed weekend dedicated to tiramisu. Highly recommended for those who aren't afraid of the scale!

15/11/2025: It was great when we ate pizza and pasta, and then we also got delicious desserts, washed down with homemade limoncello... 🤯 The woman told me to add about the delicious cheesecake, which was oozing with salted caramel 🤎 The pizzaiolo was wonderful, and the lady made our culinary dreams come true. Final rating: 11/5, but you can only click 5 stars, I recommend it. 🇵🇱🇮🇹

11/11/2025: We really liked this place. It's what we call "cheap and cheerful" back home. It's not fancy but the food is solid and the staff are lovely. If I had a restaurant like it in my locale, I would eat there regularly.

30/11/2025: Last night, we had a wonderful experience at Chef Filippo Saporito's Leggenda Dei Frati. The venue is simply enchanting, located inside Villa Bardini and boasting a breathtaking view of the city. Hard work, research, and thoughtfulness create a wealth of flavor. The cuisine is deeply rooted in the local area, and the wine selection is the result of long and meticulous dedication. Some courses are already missing as soon as you finish them, but the crescendo of flavors in each dish makes you want to see what else the chef will delight you with. The bread, too, is incredible, masterfully presented in all its forms, creating the perfect pairing with the dishes. The desserts are simply a triumph of flavor. Every detail of the dishes exudes love and care. An experience truly worth experiencing.

11/10/2025: I cannot, in good conscience, give this restaurant a good rating. This is the worst Michelin-star experience I’ve encountered; in fact, it’s the most disappointing meal of my entire trip to Italy. The presentation is beautiful, but the flavors missed the mark completely. The sweet shrimp dish is the only one I somewhat enjoyed, but it was merely scraps in the soup. It feels ridiculous to be served such a minimal portion for such an expensive meal. Can I please have a full shrimp? The tiny bits in there do not constitute a full serving. Then came the pasta, which was bland, and the stuffed pasta resembled mush—what was that? I completely lost it with the next dish: chicken liver. First off, another bread heavy dish after a few bread dishes already. The balancing and pace of this meal is completely off. Secondly, I usually relish, as I love pâté, foie gras, and similar delicacies. However, this dish tasted overwhelmingly bloody, making it inedible. The pigeon, which I am familiar with and grew up eating, also had an unpleasant taste, oozing with blood. I love a medium rare steak but this dish literally tasted like blood. At this point, I felt nauseated and decided to ask for the check before dessert. As for the bill, the waitress initially told us the drinks were complimentary, so we decided to give them a try. That turned out to be untrue. We were charged for everything, bringing our total to a staggering $450, which is excessively high, even by US standards. We left feeling robbed, and I even experienced stomach pain afterward. If you think you’ll enjoy a nice view during dinner, you are in for a disappointment. We were greeted with trees completely blocking the city skyline, only getting a glimpse of it after our meal. Additionally, I noticed there were only three tables occupied in the entire restaurant on a Friday night, which was quite telling. I wish I could have my time and money back. This was for our wedding anniversary and truly completely ruined our day. It’s an incredibly disappointing experience, and I can’t help but feel frustrated thinking about it.

04/12/2025: As usual, the dinner was excellent, as was the service. This time... even more so... there were four of us, and due to our particular circumstances, we might have been a bit inconvenienced. Without even mentioning it, we were immediately offered dinner at their adjacent restaurant, "Il Cibreo," and were still served the Il Cibleo menu. It's truly rare to find such a high level of customer service and attention!

22/11/2025: A unique and exceptional experience. We had heard about the other Cibreo restaurants, and this wound up being our favorite meal in Tuscany (and one of our favorite ever). Truly unique flavors and outstanding drinks, too (including some sake they brought us to try on the house). No, it’s not a traditional Tuscan meal, but the flavors are remarkable, it clearly still has a local influence, and the overall experience and service are special. A memorable evening.

11/12/2025: Places like La Brac are a lifesaver for the touristy soul of central Florence. A rare authentic venue in the heart of the historic center. A romantic place, with a vision that transcends mere profit. Knowledgeable and helpful staff, unexpected flavors and pairings, and excellent food and wine at fair prices. Long live places like La Brac!

04/12/2025: Tucked away in a small lane in Florence. Serving good fresh vegetarian food in a library ambience. Art lovers, book lovers will find enough space and time over food to enjoy.
