24/08/2025: The food was good, not remarkable but good. The reason for the review was the service. We ordered 2 appetizers and 3 entrees to share as a party of four. The staff acted upset that we asked for things to be brought when ready so we can share. I think they interpreted that we meant everything at the same time. But even still it shouldn’t be a particularly big deal. They treated us rudely for the remainder of the dinner.

23/08/2025: Very disappointed... The place and the waiters are friendly but the food is clearly not worth the price. The tomato dish was way too salty, almost as if it had been prepared with an industrial sauce. For the second dish, the ''roosbeaf with wine'' was more of a ''roosbeaf with oil'' than anything else... If you are an epicurean, it is better not to stop here. If you are just hungry and in a hurry to eat, the restaurant will do the trick.

23/08/2025: Golden View in Florence was a wonderful experience! Our waiter was especially attentive and friendly, which made us feel very welcome as tourists. The food was very delicious, but the portions were small.The view is amazing.

17/08/2025: The view/environment is great, and service is ok. However, the food is poor and overpriced. I regret not reading the 1-star reviews beforehand. I arrived with high expectations, which quickly turned into disappointment. The scallops were a little overcooked, and pairing with that thick-mayonnaise like sauce is a wrong choice. The zucchini flowers were too oily; and the pasta was excessively salty. After the second dish, we decided to leave for another place for dessert. To the owner: your chef needs to be re-schooled. Being creative is good but this should never at the cost of good taste. Plus, if you charge 12% service fee, I expect some waiters be more professional (like serving each person’s appetizer at the same time). Finally, most people entering your restaurant knowing this place is pricy. The price is never the issue. As long as the food quality matches the price, no one would ever complain.

22/08/2025: Very nice restaurant, tasty and high quality food. We had the entrecôte with truffle and the lasagna. Both really nice! The restaurant is quite big with many seating options and elegant decoration. The only thing is that it’s a bit expensive. However, we did manage to get a 20% discount because we booked from their site (last minute?). This is worth trying! Very friendly staff (like excessively friendly)

21/08/2025: We had a great experience at this restaurant. The waiters were very friendly and pleasant, and we had a great meal. We especially loved the carpaccio! I highly recommend it.

08/08/2025: We chose meatballs and truffle pasta, but the pasta was overcooked and far from al dente. The meatballs had a foul taste and smell, and the truffle pasta wasn't very tasty either. Besides, I think the price isn't very cheap. While we've avoided chain restaurants like this during our trip to Italy, we've made the choice, and I won't be going back to any chain restaurant. I can honestly say it was our worst experience in Italy. Truffle pasta costs 20+2 Euros, meatball pasta costs 15+2 Euros, and the pasta we chose costs 2 Euros, which is another bit of nonsense.

17/08/2025: I ordered pizza for takeout. The crust was thin, so it could have been a little salty, but it was delicious. The staff was friendly. After waiting about 10 to 15 minutes, the pizza arrived piping hot. I'd love to visit again!

06/08/2025: As a good Neapolitan, I tell you, there's very little left of Michele: huge pizzas, good, but they're not Michele's... In Naples, they don't make them that big!

06/08/2025: I ate Bupalina and it was delicious.. The portions are large so if you order one you'll eat until you burst. Everyone, please make sure to eat here.

29/06/2025: I went to eat ravioli with friends, but as a Romagnola, I was surprised... I was already looking forward to a nice 40-liter pot of broth with tortellini and instead we get these ravioli of very precious duck breast worth *200* bombs... what can I say, more than satisfied

02/08/2025: The artisanal gelato is truly delicious. In my opinion, gelato is better than sorbets. It's perhaps a little more expensive than average, but it's worth it.

09/06/2025: Wow — what a wonderful surprise tucked away in a hotel lobby in Florence! We stumbled upon this hidden gem on our last night, and we’re only sorry we didn’t find it sooner. The homemade dishes were absolutely spectacular — rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with love. The husband-and-wife duo running the show were outstanding. He’s the chef, working his magic in the kitchen, while she brings warmth and charm to the front of house. The whole experience felt personal and authentic, like being welcomed into someone’s home for a special meal. If you’re in Florence, don’t miss this place — it’s a true hidden treasure.

29/06/2025: One of the best pizza by the slice I know, the strong point is the stuffed pizza but all the others are also excellent. The dry pastries are also good. Prices are normal. Service is up to par. Highly recommended.

23/05/2025: I live in Markham, Canada - where some of the world’s finest Asian cuisine is; and this restaurant is absolutely authentic in its food. It was a lovely change of cuisine to visit Italy and get a solid ramen that tasted so original. Had the set ramen menu with the gyoza, spicy kimchi ramen, and a Japanese cheesecake to finish. All delicious through and through, highly recommended.

19/05/2025: I always go there very willingly, usually I take the Ciampon (a truly exquisite broth) but this time I wanted to try the Curry udon and I must say that I found it truly excellent 🤤 Of all the places I have tried both in Florence and I can't say that their ramen is unbeatable, all very fresh ingredients, hand-made noodles and the most important thing a truly excellent broth 💜 Highly recommended 💜

19/05/2025: Passed by Sunday early afternoon, since the window had mostly mignon, I was attracted by a Sicilian cannolo with a tag that said CANNOLO SICILIANO. Nice to eat but I immediately realized that it was not ricotta cream. I asked at the counter and they confirmed that the filling was also made with cream. Please ..... don't call it Sicilian ...
