14/02/2026: We arrived at the Locanda on a rainy day. We were greeted by a very kind waitress, who seated us and showed us the handwritten menu. All the dishes were typical local dishes, seasonal, and reasonably priced. There was a limited vegetarian option, but the farro tagliatelle with radicchio and walnuts was delicious, although I would have preferred it to be cooked longer. The second room has a very large window overlooking the countryside. A pleasant lunch in a very well-kept setting.

15/11/2025: It was great when we ate pizza and pasta, and then we also got delicious desserts, washed down with homemade limoncello... 🤯
The woman told me to add about the delicious cheesecake, which was oozing with salted caramel 🤎
The pizzaiolo was wonderful, and the lady made our culinary dreams come true.
Final rating: 11/5, but you can only click 5 stars, I recommend it. 🇵🇱🇮🇹
11/11/2025: We really liked this place. It's what we call "cheap and cheerful" back home. It's not fancy but the food is solid and the staff are lovely. If I had a restaurant like it in my locale, I would eat there regularly.

10/06/2026: Quick and easy way to enjoy A LOT of different varieties of pastas or sauces. The food is made with fresh ingredients and there’s a window if you’d like to watch the chef cook your food. Because they do both table and takeaway service, you can choose whether you’d like a more relaxing experience or a quick one. We had the Tuscan Ragú, which was excellent.

03/05/2026: We dined at this restaurant during the Via degli Dei. They offer a free shuttle service for hikers both there and back. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the terrace is perfect for an aperitif while admiring the view.

14/07/2026: I lived down the street from Mama's Bakery for the past 6 months, and I have always been impressed by the friendly customer service and delicious food. The food is high quality and priced really well. I would visit Mama's for birthday cakes, coffee, bagels, and the lovely atmosphere. It is great for doing work on your computer or socializing with friends. Special shoutout to Nico, who always asked about my day and who is always smiling and welcoming. I will miss this place when I move, but surely will be back next time I am in Florence.
29/06/2026: We were at the market in the piazza and when we were done wanted cappuccino and cornetto. We walked to Mama’s Bakery and found a nice selection of pastries. We relaxed and enjoyed the food and the break.

09/08/2026: Delicious thin-crust pizzas, crispy crust, and well-topped. Service, at least on weekends, is slow. Be patient. They brought us a beer menu, with interesting local craft selections, but it wasn't complete; we only noticed this when we checked the bill, checking the fridges near the register. The waiter didn't tell us about any other options. It's a shame; we would have gladly tried something else. The place is relatively cool and has a lovely, spacious terrace where, unfortunately, smoking is permitted (at least I didn't see any explicit prohibitions), which detracts from the overall experience and becomes annoying, especially when children are around.
07/08/2026: Traditional Tuscan cuisine, excellent food, and attentive service.
The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Excellent beer selection, even the gluten-free selection... but it wouldn't be bad to have it on tap too.
The inside is there. Comfortable, hospitable, and original.
But on the outside, they could be more daring...

15/04/2026: I don't think I'll ever return to this place. The staff was extremely rude: we ordered drinks just before closing, but at 1:50 two different people came to our table and told us to get up immediately. They told us we couldn't finish our drinks at the table and that they'd give us plastic cups to leave, treating us and two other tables rudely. In my opinion, those who work in front of the public should consider staying an extra ten minutes if the place is full, without kicking customers out like this. Last but not least, we only realized after leaving that we'd paid different prices for the same beer over the course of the evening: mistake or bad faith? Terrible experience.

Obsessive care and attention to the raw materials used and prepared with passion. On top of all this...the staff is extremely kind and knows how to turn a simple stop for a pizza by the slice into a special moment of sharing! Well done! 10 out of 10
