27/09/2025: We popped in for a last-minute takeaway pizza on a Friday night. The restaurant itself was fairly quiet, but ordering was quick and the service was speedy. I had the Quattro Formaggi pizza - it was delicious, full of flavour, with a perfectly crispy crust. For €11, you really can’t go wrong!

14/09/2025: There were many employees and guests. The pizza was big and delicious. It was good and the price was reasonable.

20/09/2025: I'll start by saying that the 3 stars given to the food are due to the fried food, and ONLY for the fried food, and nothing else. In fact, I gave it 4 stars overall. The place is tiny, right on Viale dei Mille with a small outdoor terrace. Make a reservation because they seat about 35-40 people maximum. We were outside; I had requested this when booking (I have a puppy, and it seemed more practical to sit outside). I was worried about the noise from the avenue, but to be honest, it was less of a problem than expected. There were two young waiters who were very kind and professional, especially the young man who served us. The menu has a few à la carte dishes (and that's fine, it guarantees fresh, carefully prepared products) and a good selection of catch of the day or specials of the day. That evening, there were several fish per kilo, cooked in various ways, and two express dishes, an appetizer and a first course. We ordered two à la carte first courses: spaghetti allo scoglio (seafood spaghetti) and linguine with crab, scampi, and shrimp (I don't remember the name of the dish). Both were very good, but my only complaint is practical. The crab, placed in half on the plate, even if divided between the shell and claws, takes quite a while to be properly enjoyed. Meanwhile, the pasta gets cold and overcooked, which is a mortal sin. Perhaps it would be worth serving the crab already cleaned, with only the claw to be split, to still create a show. Nothing to complain about the ingredients, excellent and perfectly cooked. MY problem comes with the fried calamari, shrimp, and cod. The calamari were cut into strips, not rings. The strips were rather dull, neither crispy nor attractive; tender, yes, but tasty. There are many ways to fry, everyone has their own, but generally you expect something crispy and tasty, lightly seared, those strips were not. The shrimp was shelled, and I don't like that either. You expose the heart of the crustacean to the extreme heat of the oil, while using the shell instead protects it, another questionable choice in my opinion. The flavor was good, but the texture was bordering on overcooked. The cod was cod; I don't know why it would be included in a mixed fry. Kudos to the homemade mayonnaise, but it was perfectly fine for a snack, since we're not at a fish and chips place. It was a bit disappointing, that's all. I was expecting something else. Ultimately, based on what I ate, I CAN'T SAY THE FOOD WAS BAD, ON THE CONTRARY. Maybe I'm just being a pain in the ass, but fried fish is something that deserves serious consideration, and I enjoyed it just fine. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. The overall 4 stars are precisely because we had a good time overall. We left feeling full and with a little extra cash left in our wallets, which doesn't hurt.

15/09/2025: Family-run seafood restaurant, managed with care and professionalism down to the smallest detail. I come often and have never been disappointed! I recommend the tagliolini with red shrimp or lobster, my absolute favorites. Excellent restaurant near Florence.

18/12/2025: I took a break and enjoyed some tea. The other stores don't have cafes, so I recommend this one. The quality of the tea is high. I even bought some tea leaves!

09/12/2025: Greatly enjoyed my visit. The menu had numerous options, including tea infused cocktails, afternoon tea as well as smaller servings of shortbread and scones. They serve tea infused foods, including brunch, sandwiches as well as vegan amd vegeatrian choices. Over 200 blends of tea available. The interior of the tea room was bright and airy. Staff very helpful, taking the time to explain the blends. The bathroom very clean and quite large. A must visit while in Florence.

18/09/2025: As a self-confessed stuffed potato lover, I couldn't miss this spot, nestled in the heart of one of my favorite neighborhoods in Florence. The atmosphere is chill, though it could be a little more lively, but the owner—who also serves as host—is friendly and sharp, and immediately puts you at ease. And then straight to the main event: potatoes. Plenty of choices, though a Fontina cheese on the menu would definitely be a good fit 🔥. The portions are generous: I went for the Cinta Senese sausage with stracchino cheese, which enveloped my palate like a warm hug. Perhaps the ingredients were a bit too solo, not 100% blended. I also tried the one with bacon and Gorgonzola, which is decidedly bolder, ideal for those who want a heavy, uncompromising flavor.

03/06/2025: I tried the raw Cinta Senese sausages, which are only served on Fridays: exceptional. An interesting alternative to traditional restaurants. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Just arrived in Florence and looking for a cheap meal. Stumbled upon PaStation and had a Capriciosa Pinsa. It was absolutely delicious with heaps of topping, more olives than I’ve had on any pizza. The staff whilst busy busy were very helpful and very nice. This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices. We will definitely be back.

01/11/2025: It's a bar that lives up to its reputation—very welcoming, for sure—but the decor has had its day, and it's not perfectly clean. There's a nice counter full of pastries and savory treats of all kinds and to suit all tastes, a bar full of aperitif options, and a well-stocked tobacco shop. Maybe a little cleaner wouldn't hurt.

04/12/2025: I bought some assorted pastries to take to a dinner party, and they were truly delicious! Everyone loved them! They weren't heavy or too sweet. The staff was friendly. I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend them.

07/12/2025: Birthday party. 14 of us arrived, table reserved for 9 PM. We sat down at 10 PM and ordered at 10:10 PM. The pizzas began arriving in threes from 11 PM until 11:30 PM. I can't rate the food because eating a pizza at 11:30 PM is not something you should do. Total bill: €442, €30 per person. It's a shame because the concept behind some of the pizzas could have been interesting. The desserts were excellent.

30/11/2025: A must for dinner when in Florence. I have to say after spending a week in Florence and eating at a different restaurant, Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I can honestly say. This was the restaurant with the best florentine steak, vegetables, eggplant that I had. If you're spending time in Florence Have dinner here first. Clean, family owned, delicious food impeccable service. Reasonably priced.
