10/03/2026: I found it by chance. I was in Pontassieve for a medical appointment, and this place, a charming trattoria, was the closest to my destination. It was packed, and they managed to find us a table for two. Fast service and excellent food! Reasonably priced, we'll be back with friends!

20/01/2026: Very friendly, super competitive prices, quick service. It's a bit risky to find a seat right away, but it's a sign that the place is well-liked.

14/04/2026: Wonderful location, the garden and villa are a splendid setting. Service was inattentive, with few smiles and no welcoming attitude. Easter lunch with good dishes, but one was brought to me with a hair in the sauce... The waiter I mentioned it to simply said he would replace it, without even apologizing for the inconvenience! The apology only came when another waiter brought me the replacement dish. Lunch ruined; I was truly disgusted and very, very disappointed. Honestly, considering the rather exorbitant prices of the dishes, I think it's quite unacceptable. I'm truly sorry because the place is truly beautiful but poorly managed, and I won't be returning!

06/04/2026: I feel at home. The staff are not overly formal, but professional. The dishes are not ordinary. Excellent wines. They also serve good pizzas. The outdoor seating will reopen soon, I can't wait. Prices are average for the category.

01/02/2026: I had pizza with a friend and we were both very satisfied. The pizza was good, well-topped, the atmosphere was bright, fresh, clean, and tidy, and the waitresses were friendly. The bathrooms were also clean and tidy, with soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. They also have a spacious disabled bathroom and a nice changing table for changing diapers. Excellent! Please note: To order takeout pizzas, it's best to call as soon as they open. If the place is busy, they have a lot of work to do and lots of pizzas to bake, some of which may have already been ordered. You'll have to be prepared to wait a bit, but it's worth it!

04/12/2025: I bought some assorted pastries to take to a dinner party, and they were truly delicious! Everyone loved them! They weren't heavy or too sweet. The staff was friendly. I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend them.

04/04/2026: Excellent restaurant near the center of Florence. The menu changes daily, featuring delicious and generous vegetarian dishes, as well as vegan and gluten-free options, clearly indicated on the menu. The dessert display is also wonderful, with so many options to choose from, and it's also wonderful to be able to pair it with herbal teas and infusions of your choice. I can't wait to go back!

26/03/2026: Honestly, I was disappointed, I'm a vegetarian and I was hoping for a better meal given all the good reviews. The seitan stew was great, but the vegetables (spinat/chard?) were almost unedible (even though I love spinat and chard!): they were very sour/bitter, as if they'd been picked up too late, so I couldn't even finish half of them. I didn’t find the service particularly welcoming (though some waitresses seemed friendlier than the one who served me). To finish with, I don't really understand why you have to write down your own order on a piece of paper and then go pay at the counter before you've even eaten. If you're charging for the service, you should also take the order properly... And the bread served was anything but fresh (clearly from the day before, or even older). I rarely write such critical reviews, but I hope this one will help you improve, because the restaurant has potential!

20/01/2026: A fantastic, fairytale-like, intimate, and relaxing place. The food and drink are excellent. The hosts are kind, friendly, and always smiling. A place to return to just outside Florence. Thanks to whoever brought us here for dinner. Unforgettable!!

16/11/2025: A tiny little osteria. This season, there's only 14 seats inside in a bright space, and Francesca and Alice are attentive, efficient, and smiling, serving both humans and animals. The varied menu features traditional Tuscan fare, starting with an entrée offering pappa al pomodoro in the form of a small tartare. There were six of us, and we chose and exchanged the various dishes, all tasty and traditional, with a focus on vegetarians. €40 per person, including a Montalcino red, water, coffee, cheesecake, and a pear in wine. We'll definitely return, perhaps in the warmer months, when they can seat at least twenty more.

20/04/2026: Excellent traditional trattoria near Piazza Duomo. Truly excellent food, from the fresh pasta to the exquisite desserts. Helpful and efficient staff, led by the "good" Diego. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Florence.

20/04/2026: Grande Nuti Trattoria is amazing homemade pasta! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and authentically Italian. The space is cozy without feeling cramped, and the service was genuinely attentive without being overbearing. The food was outstanding. The Parmesan truffle pasta was amazing! You can tell they care about quality ingredients and traditional recipes. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were rich and balanced, and the wine recommendations paired beautifully with the meal. They also make the pasta right in front of you! It’s the kind of place where you want to slow down, enjoy each course, and savor the experience. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this spot is a must eat for a foodie!

23/02/2026: Terrible experience with a birthday cake. First call: we asked what weight was indicated for ten people and they told us one kilo. Second: we asked for a cake for about ten people. When we went to pick it up, we discovered that the cake weighed two kilos (€90) and that the person who answered the phone had written to their colleagues that it was for 15 people. We pointed out that two kilos would still have been too much for 15 guests. At that point, they changed the instructions from the phone, explaining that it costs €6 per person, so the weight parameter was no longer used. The problem was that the birthday was that evening, and it was impossible for us to change the cake at that point (much less for them to offer us an alternative or a discount). So we had to order it anyway. The icing on the cake, it must be said, was that we had also asked over the phone if it was possible to have it without nuts or walnuts. They said it was no problem. When, resigned, we left with the two-kilo cake, we read on the ingredients sheet that it might contain traces of tree nuts or walnuts. Only then did they offer to exchange it for a smaller one, but it would still contain those traces. So it wouldn't have made sense. So some guests didn't eat a cake that was also too big. A disaster. Oh, and the cake was good, on par with those other good bakeries in the city, which we'll try next time.

03/03/2026: Delicious and very filling panzerotti, very kind and very friendly service, Miss Nene managed to solve one of my problems in a much better way than chat gpt, congratulations guys, keep it up, the only small precaution is a pinch of extra salt but really delicious I repeat, below are the photos of one of the two panzerotti that I took because they were too tasty and I bit into one immediately and then the super crocodile beer!!!

07/04/2026: We were staying outside Bivigliano during the Via degli Dei, so it was very difficult to get to the restaurant. Niccolò, the chef and owner, made himself available immediately: he picked us up and dropped us off free of charge (a 10-15 minute drive). He was punctual, kind, and very approachable from the start. The restaurant is truly beautiful and well-kept. The parents welcomed us with great warmth, and we immediately felt at ease. We ate very well: burgers, baked potatoes, pizza, and chicken—everything was delicious and carefully prepared. We also chatted during the trip, and he gave us helpful advice and exchanged anecdotes about the Via degli Dei. On our way back, he even stamped our credentials. You can tell they're passionate about it. Services and availability like this are not a given. Highly recommended.

05/04/2026: Staying in the area during the Via degli Dei hike, we dined at Chalet Numero 5, and the experience was truly rejuvenating. Since we were on foot, we greatly appreciated the owners' helpfulness, who came to pick us up and then took us back to our accommodation. The cuisine is excellent and comprehensive: in addition to a truly delicious pizza, we sampled first courses, second courses, and desserts, leaving us completely satisfied with every course. A fundamental reference point for hikers and anyone seeking quality and human warmth. Highly recommended!

11/01/2026: Excellent pub that also serves sandwiches and other items. The beers are interesting and the atmosphere is very welcoming. It's also perfect for groups because it has plenty of space inside.
