08/03/2026: Just a regular pizza. IT’S NOT THE SAME TASTE PIZZA OF NAPOLES! But it’s a nice regular pizza. You should try the Da Michele pizzeria from Naples, is the best pizza of the world! Unfortunately the Firenze da Michele isn’t the same :( Marguerita: €8 Marinara €6,5 Aperol spritz €7 (it’s good)

20/12/2025: I didn't give the ambiance its best rating only because it's a bit noisy for me, as I have some hearing problems. Unfortunately, there's only so much space... For a small trattoria where you eat well and spend a fair amount, you can overlook a few minor inconveniences ;-) The people who welcomed us were extremely kind, attentive, and helpful; and human warmth makes everything better. The menu offers a good selection of traditional dishes; the fresh pasta dishes were very satisfying. The tagliata was excellent; we asked for a customization for the pork loin (addition of dried tomatoes and caramelized onion), which was prepared without any problems and we loved it. Some desserts were sold out, but even the remaining ones were good. A very honest account; these days, it helps me come back more often... it's a shame I live in Montecatini, but I'm happy to come here whenever I get around.

22/11/2025: A small restaurant (reservations recommended) opposite the Sant'Ambrogio Market. The signature dish is half a potato (a substantial size) with a wide selection of ingredients and toppings added on top. Excellent for a light and unusual meal.

21/11/2025: We went to eat at Occomè last night, and luckily we managed to find a seat; we didn't expect the place to be so small, but it was very, very welcoming. The owner offers his customers an amazing welcome; he's fun and super friendly, treating everyone with the utmost kindness. We were amazed by the quality of the ingredients and the speed of the service. We started with a house appetizer and then continued with two potatoes (one with Cinta Senese pancetta and gorgonzola and one with bacon and gorgonzola). Needless to say, they were amazing. Not content, we split another potato (the one with peposo): an incredible journey of flavor. I highly recommend this place, both for the cheerful atmosphere, the welcome we received, and above all, the flavor. My only regret? We only went on the last day before leaving.

01/02/2026: I had pizza with a friend and we were both very satisfied. The pizza was good, well-topped, the atmosphere was bright, fresh, clean, and tidy, and the waitresses were friendly. The bathrooms were also clean and tidy, with soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. They also have a spacious disabled bathroom and a nice changing table for changing diapers. Excellent! Please note: To order takeout pizzas, it's best to call as soon as they open. If the place is busy, they have a lot of work to do and lots of pizzas to bake, some of which may have already been ordered. You'll have to be prepared to wait a bit, but it's worth it!

27/01/2026: A wonderful and brave reality… in a city whose culinary tradition has focused mostly on meat, despite having incredible dishes like ribollita. Il Vegetariano is a magical place .. the food and hospitality have the warmth and taste of home. Even on a chilly evening, the restaurant was almost full. For me, a hot dish rich in flavors at a very fair price. Well done, well done, well done!

19/01/2026: Definitely a great place to sample vegetarian dishes. With the formula, you write down what you want to eat, go to the cashier, and pay. Good service, and the manager's kindness is truly remarkable. The dishes are good, but very generous. Not that that's a bad thing, but perhaps for those who are no longer young, choosing a dish and a dessert would be wise. Two drawbacks: the first is that they bring everything to you right away if you order a full meal, which, in my opinion, is a limitation given the portions. Secondly, they leave condiments on the table, along with the spray to clean the tables afterwards. It's not a pretty sight, but I understand the comings and goings of tourists and diners...cleaning the table, setting the table, etc. etc. Having detergent on hand is useful, but avoiding it would be better. Excellent desserts, and plenty of them. Good coffee. In short, in Florence, give me your hand...go to a vegetarian place. 4 first courses 4 second courses 4 desserts 3 coffees 4 waters €116. Recommendation.

29/12/2025: An intimate and well-maintained place, the food is out of this world (we tried the chicken, pork tenderloin, pappardelle with scampi, garlic pici, and two appetizers). It's one of those places where you can find tradition with excellent quality. The service is attentive and welcoming. Highly recommended.

30/11/2025: A must for dinner when in Florence. I have to say after spending a week in Florence and eating at a different restaurant, Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I can honestly say. This was the restaurant with the best florentine steak, vegetables, eggplant that I had. If you're spending time in Florence Have dinner here first. Clean, family owned, delicious food impeccable service. Reasonably priced.

16/11/2025: A tiny little osteria. This season, there's only 14 seats inside in a bright space, and Francesca and Alice are attentive, efficient, and smiling, serving both humans and animals. The varied menu features traditional Tuscan fare, starting with an entrée offering pappa al pomodoro in the form of a small tartare. There were six of us, and we chose and exchanged the various dishes, all tasty and traditional, with a focus on vegetarians. €40 per person, including a Montalcino red, water, coffee, cheesecake, and a pear in wine. We'll definitely return, perhaps in the warmer months, when they can seat at least twenty more.
