I booked a table here for my final night in Florence based on the glowing reviews, and I am so glad I did. What a gem! If you are looking for an authentic ristorante fiorentino with traditional cuisine and incredibly warm service, look no further than Osteria Pratellino. From the moment I walked in until the moment I left, it wasn’t just a meal; it was a true Florentine experience. I want to give a massive thank you to the whole team and especially the owner, Francesco. His passion and vast knowledge of regional wines and food are inspiring, and he is also a fantastic conversationalist who truly makes you feel at home. This is exactly the kind of place you want to find: an honest, high-quality escape from the usual tourist and Instagram traps of the city center. Delicious and unexpected, from the artichoke appetizer to the game dishes to the wine. Every course was perfect. Coming from Asia I sometimes find that other cuisines aren’t as flavourful (to my tastes), but this meal just blew me away. Lovely service too

An excellent osteria where the high-quality, unconventional cuisine focuses on local products. The informal, family atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Francesco is a great host, and Matteo and his staff delighted us with excellent dishes, including an excellent white truffle tonight. Truly well done.
