17/08/2025: Don't be fooled by the owner's somewhat stern expression; here, we love to cook, and we cook with heart! All the products are carefully selected for their local or organic qualities. This restaurant is located on a narrow pedestrian street in Parma, with tables lined up directly in the middle of the cobblestone street... when there's space (reservations recommended). In summer, the restaurant's windows open wide, and the charming waitress seated us inside, close to the street, to enjoy the atmosphere and the coolness of a beautiful summer evening. The kids had margarita pizzas (the crust is just... fabulous), and I had the signature dish: Gnocchi stuffed with lobster and smoked burrata (roasted red potatoes, pan-seared lobster, basil cream, and lobster bisque). Absolutely delicious. Careful presentation: it's not Lustucru gnocchi, but a carefully flattened and seasoned pancake, on which sits a thin slice of lobster, perfectly presented. On the way out, you pass by the wide serving hatch to the kitchen where four or five cooks are busy. You can congratulate them; everyone knows who did what, the dish is signed! And everyone in the kitchen (including me) applauded the proud and slightly embarrassed young chef with "bravissimo" (it feels weird to write that afterward). Of course, it's not cheap, but honestly, it's a very good culinary memory. The staff is charming and the owner smiles... once you've paid the bill 😁

23/06/2025: We visited the restaurant as part of a bachelorette party while traveling through Tuscany. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were offered a table inside where we enjoyed a delicious meal. With a sufficient mix of Italian and English, the waiter was able to explain the menu to us. It was a wonderful evening with delicious food!

17/06/2025: I used to come here when I was a girl and lived closer... I came back after many years and they changed management but, this was the added value of this place suitable for everyone and with many vegan and vegetarian options. Friendly and fast service. Inviting and well-cooked dishes. More than fair prices considering that they left the coffee at 1 euro. Well done girls! I can't wait to come back!

09/08/2025: I booked with The Fork and arrived at 8:10 PM, it was completely empty. We went in and they asked us if we wanted to go to the garden (wow, I didn't know it existed). The courtyard was a bit run-down, but they've fixed it up nicely enough, and most importantly, there were two other people there. The girl was nice, but she didn't speak Italian, so she couldn't explain the dishes to us (so what)... I ordered a drink, like a passion fruit cocktail, I think... €8, and it was the penny juice, I think... the main courses weren't bad (I liked my friend's less), the appetizer was cones with tartare, the tartare was full of fat... 9:30 PM, we asked for desserts, and they told us we couldn't have one because the kitchen was closed. It's okay if you order one. So I said let's pay, it felt like they wanted to kick us out... I paid with The Fork Pay, which required a thousand approvals, so it took me a while, and I realized they didn't even know how to verify the payment because she asked me: can I take a photo of the payment result on my phone? Of course, while he (I assume the owner) calls or sends a voicemail saying, "Let me know as soon as you see the payment." In short, they made me feel like a thief when he just acted annoyed and arrogant. Eventually, we left and were eating outside at a couple of tables. Wasn't the kitchen closed? In short, if you don't know how to work, at least learn some humility. Gavinana isn't a tourist neighborhood; you have to know your way around. And what can I say? Unfortunately, they'll be closing soon.

30/07/2025: A simple, no-frills place, just like it used to be. Top-notch authentic dishes, made just like they used to be. I had pappa pomodoro with burrata, penne with ragù, and a carrot and zucchini flower tart stuffed with scamorza cheese and vegetables. Everything was delicious. The service was friendly and quick.

High quality, kindness too; I find the variety excellent and you can choose at random... you always land on your feet! Few but good drinks and what can we say about the desserts, those are special too, very fresh and also for gluten intolerants, what more could you want!!!

30/07/2025: A really nice place to stop for lunch. The men in the kitchen make it a real party, sometimes even shouting at each other in a fun way. The truffle pasta was delicious. They were very nice to our children, who were watching the kitchen with interest.

21/06/2025: Cuando por fin estás cansado de la pasta de pizza y panini, y has gastado demasiado dinero comprando este lugar es un oasis. Finalmente algo de comida con muchas verduras que se siente refrescante pero nutritiva al mismo tiempo. Mi esposa dijo que pensaba que era la mejor comida mediterránea que había probado. Todo lo que sé es que estoy lleno y siento que finalmente tengo una cantidad decente de verduras. Tengo la ensalada griega y la pita mediterránea, era mucha comida, como mucha comida era fantástico y estoy tan satisfecho que me detuve a escribir una crítica. Y el dueño también era genial. Chico muy guay, la comida fue hecha con amor y se nota.

08/08/2025: Under new management, a young and highly skilled pizza chef, excellent pizzas, perfectly crispy, top-quality ingredients, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Takeout is available, just minutes from Piazzale Michelangelo, where you can enjoy delicious pizza as the sun sets with a beautiful view. Highly recommended. We've been back several times and tried the various pizzas...all fabulous...the best thing is the tomato sauce, truly worthy of praise. Bravo, Dario, you continue to amaze us with the unique flavors you offer every time we come. It's become a regular stop!

06/08/2025: Go here. Best pizza we had in Italy! We had this on the second day of our trip and I tried replicating it in other pizzerias. And it was the only pizza my kids loved while there. None compared. I will dream of this pizza🤤

27/07/2025: I went there with a friend after he'd already been there several times. He'd spoken highly of it, so I was intrigued and decided to try it with him. I have to say, I was right to trust him! Excellent quality across the board, fast and very clear tablet service, a cute place, and prices for an all-you-can lunch that were truly ridiculous considering how low they are (€21 per person with water). Despite the many Japanese restaurants in Empoli, this is definitely one of the best, if not the best, despite being in an industrial area and not being very trustworthy from the outside. I'll definitely be back, without a doubt.

19/07/2025: For me, the best sushi in the world... After 2 years and frequenting this place quite often, I stand by my review from 2 years ago... saying that perhaps the quality has improved even further. Congratulations to everyone!
