The lemon tartlets, strawberry tartlets, and every other pastry I tasted were equally delicious, full of authentic Italian flavor and made with great care. I enjoyed this bakery so much that I kept coming back to try something new, and every single pastry exceeded my expectations. 15/07/2026: We were there one evening with friends, the service was a bit slow, the place was beautiful, there's nothing magical about it, but I didn't like the food, unfortunately it was a bit of a waste, only the desserts were very good and you could taste the high quality of the pastry, it was a shame about the rest, I expected better.

10/05/2026: Visited multiple times during my stay in Firenze, had a good experience every time! If you want to save money you can order the cafe drinks or pastries from the bar, servers at the bar are all friendly and helpful. You can also get a table to enjoy the ambiance, its a great place to grab a drink or a dessert and relax looking out at the Piazza della Repubblica (especially in the evening). Shout out to Eldorado, who was our server, super friendly, funny yet professional, had a great time thanks to him :)

21/05/2026: Great wine bar/ restaurant across the river from the Uffizi. Outdoor terrace with views of the river. Did not eat there but enjoyed the wine and very good value. There is a fantastic shop attached as well with a vast selection of wine. Highly recommended.

Queues periodically form, since the institution is known among tourists and their guides, but the service is fast. The staff is polite. The premises are air-conditioned. High-quality and tasty food at reasonable prices. By the way, the location of the institution is very convenient.

06/03/2026: Some friends and I spent a very pleasant evening at this pizzeria. The place is simple and well-kept, with some interesting designs that represent the identity of Neapolitan pizzerias. The service was quick and professional, and the staff was always very kind and friendly, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. All the food was exceptional, starting with the appetizers, then moving on to the pizzas. We ordered different ones to try as many as possible. The dough was very light and easy to digest, and we finished with a selection of desserts, which were equally excellent—a lovely icing on the cake to round off this culinary experience! The attention to detail in the plating is a particularly positive note. We will definitely be back very soon!

28/02/2026: Sant'arpia is a guarantee! In addition to the truly digestible classic Neapolitan pizza, tonight I tried the gluten-free pizza made with NATURALLY GLUTEN-FREE FLOURS, steamed... what can I say, the best gluten-free pizza I've ever eaten, a real surprise. The pizza is slightly smaller than the classic one, with a crispy and soft crust, not at all rubbery even when it cools a bit. So kudos to whoever makes the dough; it's no small feat to achieve such high quality without industrial concoctions! Celiac or not, everyone can leave here satisfied! See you soon, Glenda

03/04/2026: We visited many gelato places in Florence this visit (at least 7!) all based on reviews- and Il Procopio was hands-down the best. Particularly the Cremino which was 3 different chocolates with a shell on top of dark and white chocolate. It was the most amazing chocolate gelato/ice cream I’ve ever had. I’m sad that we only discovered it today on our last day here and they closed before we could go by again this evening and don’t open until tomorrow midday when we will already be gone so we can’t go a second time. It was THAT delicious. Much better than Perche No which was just mid/nothing special to us. Give the a try it was so so good if you are a chocolate lover especially!!

09/05/2026: Truly delicious food and a refined atmosphere. If I had to give advice to the owners of this place, I'd suggest they do some soundproofing, because the place is a bit too noisy and you end up hearing what's happening at other tables without wanting to.

23/04/2026: Always number one. Since they opened, now almost 12 years ago, I've always enjoyed going there, and aside from a slight downturn during one period, I've never been disappointed. They're good, kind, and always honest. I've received discounts on the final price several times. An honest way of doing business that people rightly appreciate, and the results are evident; the dining room is often full, so it's best to book a few days in advance. Well done!
