I tried the off-menu dishes and was blown away. The service was kind, friendly, and welcoming. Highly recommended. I particularly enjoyed the stew and the pâté.

We heard about this wonderful restaurant online, so we booked a table 45 days in advance. Today we tried the veal tripe salad, tomato soup, foie gras bread, and roast beef. For dessert, we had pear cheesecake. The restaurant had a quiet atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful meal. The staff were friendly and helpful without being overly intrusive. It was a wonderful dinner, well worth the trip from Taiwan.

The staff was lovely, they accomodated my dietary restrictions without any fuss. The food was absolutely delicious, best I had during our Florence trip!

Had a fantastic time at Cibreo Trattoria and an extremely delicious dinner. Highly recommend if you are visiting Florence as this was one of the best meals we had on our trip around Italy. The people who assisted us were also amazing, Margarita and Bruno were super nice and glad we got to talk with them a little towards the end of the night. Our favorite was the special starter they had which was a cold beef salad with homemade mayonnaise garnish. I was on the edge at first but it turned out to be my partners favorite dish she has had in Italy and I concede its now one of my favorites of the trip. Thanks for the cheesecake treat!

One of the best restaurant meals of my life. No reservations, no tablecloths, no pasta — just a tiny wood-paneled room by the Sant'Ambrogio market and a hand-stitched paper menu that cooks like a legend. The chicken liver pâté with raisin crostini is the single best version I've ever had — order two. Thick-cut Tuscan salame came with fresh figs split open like little suns; the market is 50 meters away and you can taste it. The Roastbeef del Cibrèo is the showstopper: whisper-thin rosy slices flooded with a foaming white-wine butter jus you'll chase with bread. Even the salad — a whole head of lettuce, just oil and salt — was somehow memorable. Finish with the torta al formaggio, a warm cheesecake scorched in its ramekin with bitter orange marmalade. Rustic, unphotogenic, unforgettable. Go early or queue happily. If you're in Florence and skip it, that's between you and your conscience.

A delightful dinner! Excellent, varied, and original dishes. The staff was friendly, attentive, and attentive! The prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommended. We'll be happy to return!

My first visit to Cibreo was around 20 years ago. I would say that the food and atmosphere were far better at that time. The service was good. The portions are small. We had tartar, catch of the day, braised beef, marinated vegetables (tomatoes), trippa, pepper soup and chocolate cake. Tartar and trippa were average, the rest were good.
