16/03/2025: We come across here a few times, sometimes for a casual drink, other times to watch sport.
One night we had burgers which we were underwhelmed with given they were 14euro each. Needing the burger to taste fresher and for that price add fries or other.
But drinks/service and complimentary small finger food negated the food.
27/02/2025: Busy but friendly and reasonably priced sports bar showing rugby, football and various italian sport. Good free appetisers.

30/08/2025: The ice cream was really excellent and plentiful. I personally thought the hazelnut and pistachio flavors were delicious. You could really taste all the ingredients. I'll be back.
11/07/2025: The ice cream is good. It's a shame the welcome was so grumpy. If they're still successful there, it's probably due to their location and because there isn't another proper ice cream shop in the village.

The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and the menu offers a wide variety to please everyone. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is extremely friendly and fast. A place you'll always want to return to for dinner with friends!

31/01/2026: Very little efforts and investments for maximum cash, beyond reasonable. And one toilet and outside for a place of that size, so people end up queuing in the cold one by one. Music loud inside but no music outside. Will not come back for sure.

The mortadella & pistachio pizza is incredible good.
Super friendly staff, cozy vibe, and honestly my favorite place around. Highly recommended! 🍕

09/02/2026: Great fine dining in Cervinia. They have a great selection of wines, very nice vermouths. Meals are classical but with some interesting twists.
01/02/2026: As regulars at Michelin-starred restaurants, we always take the time to savor the refined local cuisine. Jose is exceptional here; the Italian cuisine has a Nordic influence. The appetizers are of good quality, though somewhat inconsistent. The main courses are also of varying quality, in my opinion. My favorite was the smoked reindeer steak, simply excellent. The gnocchi were also very tasty.
We didn't have dessert this time but were treated to the final appetizers, which were truly excellent. In the end, the bill is consistent with the fact that this is an exceptional mountain restaurant. My deduction of a star is due to the fact that the quality of the dishes and appetizers wasn't necessarily Michelin-level.

08/03/2026: We just went for lunch, and it was packed since it was Sunday lunchtime. It's true that we had a bit of a wait, but the place was understandable given the fact that it was packed. Good food, from the burgers to the ribs and the breaded cutlet. The waitress (Martina) was super kind and professional. I recommend the place. ❤️

31/01/2026: This was my third visit to this hotel. The hotel changed hands before the 2025/2026 ski season so disregard any reviews before then as sadly they are no longer relevant. This used to be an amazing hotel but it’s been completely ruined by the new corporate owners. I will give the staff the benefit of the doubt as I can only conclude they have never had any proper training. Nobody is capable of making a decision on anything - even a request as straightforward as booking a table for lunch is deflected with a comment such as “Sorry - the restaurant manager isn’t here!”. The rooms have always been compact but now they are cold.The spa operates on a booking system but even though we asked the receptionist to book it they had no record when we got there. At dinner we were presented with a wine list which was the size of an A4 sheet of paper with about 8 wines on it. When we queried it the waiter said I’ll bring you the list that’s reserved for friends and family and presented us with a regular extensive wine list. It was actually like something out of the British comedy Fawlty Towers but when you are paying premium prices unfortunately the joke is on you. I would echo the comments of previous reviews that when you call for the minibus to pick you up they don’t come and by the time you call back several times you may as well have trudged up the hill. The location of the hotel and the ski in / ski out is excellent but overall I would say it’s deeply disappointing and very sad how such a gem of a hotel can be ruined with the careless stewardship and poor decisions of the new owners. Avoid !
30/01/2026: I travel for ski holidays regularly, usually one or two trips every year. This time we came as a group of four friends who travel together often, and we all felt the same about this experience. We normally stay in high-quality ski resorts, so we know what should be expected at this level.
During my stay at Hotel Principe delle Nevi, I paid 480 EUR per night (half-board) for a room classified as “standard”.
I can say very clearly: I have never paid so much and received so little.
The room is extremely small and very basic, with no sense of comfort that matches the price level.
At this price point, it honestly feels more suitable for hotel staff accommodation than for paying guests on an expensive ski holiday.
There is no real balcony and no view at all. The so-called outdoor area is simply a narrow, muddy path between buildings, with no privacy and nothing to enjoy.
The bathroom is particularly problematic. The shower is approximately 60 x 90 cm, so small that you either hit your head against the wall or get stuck with your back against the glass behind you.
From the moment I arrived, the bathroom ceiling light was not working. Instead of repairing it properly, a full-size standing floor lamp was placed inside the bathroom as a temporary solution. The ceiling light was only fixed on the last day of my stay.
The restaurant experience was also disappointing overall. While the starters and desserts were generally good, the main courses were consistently underwhelming and not at the level expected for this type of hotel. Communication with the staff was mixed — some spoke English, others did not — but overall the service felt poorly managed and not professional enough.
Reception service was another weak point. We asked whether it would be possible to receive a deduction for one evening, as we wanted to have dinner in town instead of using the half-board meal. We asked several times, but never received a clear answer or any follow-up.
When we called reception for the hotel shuttle from town, nobody answered. In the end, we had to wake up a friend who was already at the hotel to go to reception in person, and it still took around 30 minutes before anyone came to pick us up.
One real positive point, and honestly a small gem in this experience, was the bar and the people working there. The bar staff were professional, friendly, and provided good service throughout our stay. It was one of the few bright spots.
Overall, the hotel feels like it is suffering from a serious operational and management failure. Basic maintenance, communication, and guest service were consistently below the level expected for the prices being charged. The management should take a hard look at how this property is being run.
The ski-in/ski-out location is good, but location alone does not justify the overall experience.
If you are planning to pay high prices for a ski holiday, I strongly recommend choosing a hotel that actually delivers good value.
In my case, this was simply not the place.

15/01/2026: Beyond all expectations, the owner is exquisitely kind and courteous.
28/12/2025: We stayed 4 nights, 2 couples and 2 dogs. What can I say? The first day was nothing special, except for the breakfast, which was limited and only sweet, nothing savory.
One suggestion: review the buffet.
On the second day, my husband went down to reception with the dog and was told that dogs couldn't be left in the room because cleaning was supposed to be done every day, even though when I booked they told me dogs were welcome.
I told the gentleman, who I don't know in the profession, that you can't bring pets when skiing or at the spa.
He insisted that the rooms had to be cleaned, but since he's a professional, as I told the "gentleman," I don't want the room cleaned. If a room is closed, it's the guests who decide whether to have it cleaned or not.
I gave her an example, saying: "Excuse me if I have valuables and I don't want anyone coming into the room." She replied that there's a safe in the room, but in reality there isn't one.
Anyway, I'm disappointed about this, and since I pointed out that I was a professional and explained a bit about how the hotel industry works, all I had to say was, "I'm sorry." Enjoy your vacation.
The kind and knowledgeable cleaning ladies, even talking to them, confirmed my point.
I'll close by saying, "HAPPY NEW YEAR" and my advice: take refresher courses.
