27/08/2025: Correct camping, water blocks are clean and fine. Their social place is also correct, they let us to consume our food in their bufe too. Lot of camper car, but they found us a tent place without reservation.

27/08/2025: Nice campground for accessing all of the beautiful hiking trails in Val d'ayas. They have clean bathrooms with hot water, a nice bar with cold draft beer, and friendly service. The tent section is ok but does not have any shade during the day but is close to the river and has a nice view.

20/03/2025: A 45-minute wait for four ragu pasta dishes and one pesto pasta dish. Tiny portion for 15 euros. A 2-euro surcharge for a cover... PLASTIC! The pasta arrived cold. Overwhelmed staff, unable to handle anything at all, and rude when you make a comment. Absolutely avoid! The worst place in Italy I've ever been... Sad...

07/03/2025: Super nice discovery during our winter sports stay. Simple traditional dishes, but very good. Very pleasant staff. Fast service. A great place to eat along the slopes.

15/03/2025: We went to the umbrella bar and after waiting for half an hour to try and be served we left and went elsewhere. There was only one person serving who favours the groups of guys who are sat around the bar and buying shots etc. If you haven't got a seat at the bar you stand no chance of getting served. Previous years the umbrella bar seemed one of the places to be for apres ski, this year it wasn't very busy at all which made it all the more frustrating that we didn't get served. Disappointing as we would have probably ended most days here if the service was better and it wasn't left for one person to work the bar at apres ski

08/07/2025: Purtroppo la nostra esperienza è stata davvero negativa. Siamo arrivati con buone aspettative, ma già all’ingresso abbiamo avuto l’impressione di trovarci in una struttura trascurata, quasi fatiscente. L’accoglienza è stata fredda e ci siamo sentiti come se stessimo entrando in casa di qualcuno, piuttosto che in un locale aperto al pubblico. L’atmosfera era tutt’altro che ospitale. Il problema maggiore, però, è stato igienico: durante il pasto ci siamo trovati con una quindicina di mosche sul pane e altrettante che volavano intorno ai piatti. Una situazione francamente inaccettabile. Siamo rimasti soltanto per educazione, per non crearci l’imbarazzo di andarcene subito, ma a fine serata eravamo preoccupati per le possibili conseguenze sanitarie. Dispiace dirlo, perché la proprietaria si è mostrata gentile e ha riconosciuto che il problema delle mosche c’è, ma non basta. La gestione dell’igiene dovrebbe essere una priorità assoluta, a prescindere da tutto. Non si può pensare di servire cibo in queste condizioni. Quanto alla cucina, purtroppo nulla che possa risollevare il giudizio: piatti semplici, poco curati, e con una qualità che definire mediocre sarebbe generoso. Sinceramente, cucinavo meglio io a quindici anni. Peccato, ma è un’esperienza che non ripeteremo.

08/07/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was truly negative. We arrived with high expectations, but as soon as we entered, we had the impression of being in a neglected, almost dilapidated establishment. The welcome was cold, and we felt as if we were entering someone's home, rather than a place open to the public. The atmosphere was anything but welcoming. The biggest problem, however, was hygiene: during the meal, we found ourselves with about fifteen flies on the bread and just as many flying around the plates. A frankly unacceptable situation. We stayed only out of politeness, to avoid the embarrassment of leaving immediately, but by the end of the evening, we were worried about the possible health consequences. It's unfortunate to say this, because the owner was kind and acknowledged that the fly problem exists, but that's not enough. Hygiene management should be a top priority, no matter what. Serving food in these conditions is simply unacceptable. As for the food, unfortunately, nothing that could improve my opinion: simple dishes, poorly prepared, and of a quality that would be an understatement to call mediocre. Honestly, I cooked better when I was fifteen. It's a shame, but it's an experience we won't repeat.

04/09/2025: The pizzas are very good (margherita) all in an old-fashioned setting.

26/07/2025: The floor and tablecloth were dirty. Service was quite slow, and the language was difficult to understand. The pizzas were good, but the pasta was crusty and greasy.

15/07/2025: Delicious pizza with special ingredients. We really enjoyed it! Nice table on the terrace with a view of the mountains. Attentive service. The beer was also delicious! The prices were absolutely reasonable. Definitely worth a recommendation! We'd be happy to come back.

09/07/2025: Excellent restaurant and pizzeria, ideal for families given its proximity to the green area and multi-sports fields for children and adults. Fresh, quality food and excellent pizza.

25/08/2025: Meat served without sides (all extras and small portions), poor service, and a rude owner. The waiters are unprepared, and the management is the same, but they don't know what they're doing. It's a shame for a historic Courmayeur restaurant. One of the waiters was initially grumpy, but then he became more friendly.

20/07/2025: Service catastrophique, un petit monsieur archi malpoli qui souhaitait absolument nous faire comprendre que nous n'étions pas les bienvenus. Comme nous avions bien été reçu la première fois, nous sommes restés et avons mangé mais nous aurions dû fuir. Cuisine très correcte et bon rapport qualité prix. Service décevant, nous ne vous disons pas merci.

31/05/2025: Ordiniamo polenta e funghi porcini. Ci aspettiamo ci venga servito un piatto di polenta con dei funghi cotti nel loro sughetto, invece riceviamo una polenta precotta su cui è stata versata sopra una cucchiaiata di funghi sott'olio di infima qualità (olio denso e trasparente tipo lubrificante e funghi insipidi). Un piatto completamente slegato che nulla ha a che vedere con la ricetta di polenta e funghi. Vino sfuso da evitare. Peccato perché il locale è bello, caratteristico e poco rumoroso.

16/03/2025: Bel locale in centro,facente parte di una catena di ristoranti,personale tutto giovane e amichevole,mangiato buon piatto di tagliatelle al blu di Aosta che è un formaggio,unico appunto il piatto era freddo,consiglierei di tenerli in caldo i piatti,.

18/02/2025: This restaurant has potential but is missing a trick! The food is exceptional but the service is lacking! The waitress was more interested in talking to the chef than serving the food! The style of the menus (cheap laminated poorly designed) do not match the prices being charged or the quality of the food - an easy fix. The main dishes are served with potatoes and vegetables - this is not made clear. I ready a comment about the 'smell' in the restaurant. There is a distinct smell but don't forget that there is a thermal spa locally and river in the village often smells of sulphur. The restaurant is spotless and well presented. The smell isn't strong - but it is present in the fabric of the building. I wouldn't let this put you off eating here. Overall: has real potential but let down by poor service.

23/08/2025: We spent a short 5-night stay at this hotel, which was too old and outdated. The breakfast was truly modest, the room tiny, with a tiny window—I'm 180 cm tall, and my head almost touched the ceiling when I got out of bed. Dinner, included in the half-board package, was forgettable. Overall, the excellent location makes this hotel absolutely not worth choosing.

21/07/2025: I can only stay at this hotel for one night, Saturday, July 19, 2025. The hotel is located in the center, right at the beginning of Via Roma, Courmayeur's main street. Despite this very central and certainly privileged location, it's not a noisy hotel, meaning we slept very well that night. The only thing that woke us in the morning was a street cleaner taking away the garbage cans; otherwise, there was no noise at night. The building is older, but it has a truly welcoming lobby, and the staff is truly very kind and helpful. The rooms are a bit retro in style, but pleasant, and the price is certainly attractive compared to the average prices found in Courmayeur. We will definitely return.

19/08/2025: I found the food decent and the service very pleasant, especially the waiter, who was quick and reassuring. The place was not very welcoming and also crowded. I even left a €2 tip because I saw that waiter was trying hard, but then the owner took it.

19/08/2025: Bad welcome. The pizzas were good. Too bad we went to the bathroom afterward, we would have run away because it was very, very dirty.

07/07/2025: Sunday morning coffee stop during bike ride. Terrible coffee, dirty location, outdoor seating not suitable for hospitality, nails were sticking out of the pieces of wood that if you weren't careful you risked hurting yourself. The outdoor cushions in bad condition, signs of the evening just passed, still full ashtrays on the bin, the waitress leaves us the tray with 6 cups of coffee ordered, decidedly dirty tray probably used from the previous evening. Conclusion: failed.

18/06/2025: Potentially a 5-star venue, but with a chameleon-like soul. In 90% of cases the experience is excellent: generous aperitifs, pleasant atmosphere, friendly bartenders and a lively environment. In those moments it is truly a pleasure to stop. Then there are the other evenings. Those in which, due to some mysterious cosmic alignment - lunar phases, relative humidity or simply the wrong shifts - you find yourself catapulted into the social bar of the veterans' cooperative: two half-hearted chips, three taralli in a row and a service that makes every order seem like a personal inconvenience. The service? Variable. Like the tone of the person serving you, halfway between tolerance and "what the f...... are you doing here?". The advice? Before sitting down, peek behind the counter. If you recognize the right faces, sit down and enjoy the evening. If, on the other hand, the counter reminds you of a post-war set, pretend to look for the library and keep going. You'll figure out for yourself whether it's a night for drinks or if it's better to head straight to some dive for pensioners playing cards.
