10/11/2025: Small restaurant located on the main road leading to Gressoney la Trinité. Ample parking, simple menu with local specialties. I had an excellent braised beef with polenta concia. Fair price. Friendly and fast staff.

17/11/2025: Excellent hotel, clean and well-maintained, generous breakfasts, clean rooms, and excellent service. The location is strategic, very close to the city center. The only downside is the shower mixer, which isn't very comfortable.

13/11/2025: I stayed one night at this hotel thanks to a Smart Box. The hotel is a bit old and in need of a renovation, but the rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide selection.

03/06/2025: Locale rustico, personale gentile. Cucina valdostana con porzioni molto abbondanti. Dopo l’antipasto valdostano non siamo riusciti a finire gli gnocchi e le crespelle.

26/10/2025: Excellent food; we tried the platter, the tagliatelle with venison ragù, and the polenta with venison cheek—all truly authentic. The view is breathtaking, and the owner is hospitable. A glass of Chardon is also highly recommended.

17/12/2025: I've had lunch there several times while skiing—and it's always a pleasure. Sophisticated menu for a mountain hut, welcoming staff, and a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn! Good value for money given its location in Plan Maison. This year, I'm only missing the half bottle of Torrette Superieur they had in previous years :-)

06/12/2025: One of if not the best coffee in the neighborhood. Nice comfy interior. The staff is very friendly and professional with good english. The pastries with marmalade and vanilla cream were exceptionally good. I also recommend toasts with avocado and eggs for breakfast. Don't forget that you can order them with additional eggs, salmon or bacon too.

03/12/2025: I visited this place with a group of friends. From the start, the owner seemed unfriendly: while we were ordering, she scolded my friend, asking her to close the door, which we hadn't actually left open. We ordered coffees and two hot chocolates: the hot chocolate was good, the coffee a little less so. I asked if we could sit down and was told yes. We settled in and chatted quietly before leaving. Meanwhile, the place gradually filled up, which was understandable. However, while I was in the bathroom, my friends overheard some comments directed at us, such as: "Why don't they just leave?", "How long?", "Are they still here?" Honestly, I don't think that's a good way to treat customers: we ordered, paid without any problems, and remained seated calmly, without disturbing anyone. We also received some unpleasant looks; perhaps because we were tourists, but in the end, it's thanks to tourists that they manage to make money. A more respectful attitude would really make a difference, as would greater scrutiny of people who came in just to use the bathroom or to sit in the warmth while consuming food that wasn't purchased on the premises.

01/06/2025: Ristorante con piatti tipici valdostani. Non abbiamo prenotato, ma ci hanno fatto accomodare in un tavolo adeguato al numero di persone e non striminziti come può capitare da altre parti senza la prenotazione. Da migliorare un po' l'arredo, ma si può provare e riandare.

24/11/2025: Historic establishment near Aosta. A long time ago, it was also a nightclub with the legendary Beb e. Now, under new management, we have a more sophisticated yet still casual venue. Accustomed to the new trend of gourmet pizzerias, dominated by contemporary pizzas with exaggerated crusts and super-hydrated dough, Talon offers a thin, crunchy pizza that suits my tastes. Simple (perhaps too simple), tasty, and easy-to-digest pizzas, made with quality ingredients. Accompanied by fast, attentive service, they create the perfect combination for a pleasant evening with friends. The only downside is the price, no doubt about it. Is it worth the risk? Try it and judge!

08/10/2025: We ate truly wonderfully! From the complimentary aperitif to the dessert, every dish was a true delight. The pizza is light, flavorful, and super digestible—truly among the best I've ever tasted! A huge plus for celiacs: I am, and I was able to enjoy everything gluten-free, from aperitif to dessert, including the first and second courses, and of course the pizza (which I ordered for takeout). Everything was delicious and completely safe! The new management is fantastic: friendly, welcoming, and very attentive to detail. There's a friendly and genuine atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. We'll definitely be back, with great pleasure :)

25/04/2025: Veniamo tutti gli anni in questo ristorante ma questa volta purtroppo non è stata un’esperienza positiva per i seguenti motivi: 1. Nonostante la prenotazione in largo anticipo ci riservano il peggior tavolo della sala sotto il bancone. Chiediamo di spostarci e fortunatamente era disponibile un tavolo migliore al piano inferiore. 2. Il filetto di fassona che ricordavo molto buono, questa volta era molto duro a tal punto da aver lasciato alcuni pezzi. 3. Abbiamo chiesto un aceto balsamico ma ci è stato risposto che era terminato e non l’avevano riassortito perché “era la chiusura della stagione😳” 4. Il menù dei dolci sulla lavagna riportava numerosi dolci non disponibili perché “era la chiusura della stagione”, bastava semplicemente cancellarli dalla lavagna. 5. Il conto mi è sembrato più alto rispetto agli altri anni e riporta 3 ERRORI di prezzo che sono stati fatti presente al cameriere. Personalmente credo che anche trattandosi di fine stagione debbano garantire standard di qualità medio-alti rapportati a un conto per niente basso.

13/04/2025: People rave about this place and I can see why, they have an extensive menu, we were a party of 4 and tried the fondue, the polenta, the pear and walnut pasta and the burger and everything was excellent and presented decorated with beautiful flowers, looked good and tasted good! Plenty of options for vegetarians, portion sizes are big as well so easy to share. Can also be reached on foot without having to ski down, but is quite a climb up hill on the road.

21/10/2025: Best tacos I had in Aosta. It was tasty as well as filling. Quantity was really good. The shop owner treats the customers well. I was sad that it wasn’t open on Sunday, otherwise I would have visited again on my 2 days visit in Aosta

Adding the right sauces creates a unique flavor in Aosta. My compliments, truly. Adding a timeline, even in pen, for the preparation reminders would make everything even more refined. 😎✌
