03/07/2024: Small and historic environment near the San Bernardo pass in Italian territory. It offers excellent typical local cuisine with a not very varied menu. Try the homemade desserts. The original environment is rustic and small but has been expanded with a bright and panoramic veranda at the back. It accepts dogs inside; For payment it accepts cards and debit cards. A curiosity: the manager is passionate about numismatics, he displays and sells several interesting pieces of coins.

08/07/2024: The worst restaurant I ever been to. The service didn’t care about me at all, i was told that I have to take seat and wait to put order but after more than 10 minutes no one came. The pizza I recieved was cold but also terrible at taste. It felt as it was made from after-date products and it was not even sliced, what’s more I wanted to take seat and eat in the restaurant but my they gave it packed to takeaway. The only good thing is that Coca Cola was cold - same as pizza! Funny thing is that the service won’t be even able to read this comment because they don’t speak English at all. This is how I tried to eat unsliced pizza but I gave it up after I got stomachache. If it is only possible I would give 0 stars.

08/06/2024: Excellent place for snacks and quick lunches. Good choice of dishes of the day and sandwiches/toasts and salads. Highly recommended

04/06/2024: I ate a focaccia with cooked ham and fontina: the ham stank and the cheese inside was not even remotely related to fontina. The other person with me had a first course called Orecchiette alla Siciliana, he couldn't eat it. Total unique rubbish. Never again!!

26/08/2024: Sensational mountainhut, the views spectacular, food was absolutely delicious, both dinner 3 course (entree could be chosen pasta or soup, beef, loads of veggies and mashed potato and delicious cake) and again breakfast (yogurt, egg, cake, toast, jam, butter, nutella, coffee, tea). The hosts and staff were lovely, and they tried to speak English. I had (this time round, learning from a less positive experience) also downloaded translation apps, so that did help a lot. Rooms, toilets and shower very clean. Yes, they have wifi too. Awesome stay.

30/08/2024: I ordered Focaccia kebab, a good value tourist menu, and was asked whether I would like Focaccia or Piadina.When I chose the latter, at first glance, I was served something completely different from the menu sample, but Piadina was a thin dough with vegetables and meat. It was fully wrapped and felt quite heavy. It also comes with fries and a canned drink for 10 euros and is quite filling. Sorry for the half-eaten photo.

11/08/2024: We had lunch during one of the days of Giocaosta, outdoor tables under a sun awning, view of one of the streets in the centre, quick and accurate service. Abundant food with a wide choice of foods to create the piadina with kebab to your taste. There are also vegetarian options. To do again!

11/07/2024: Siamo stati a cena in due la pizza davvero deliziosa invece la fonduta non mi ha particolarmente entusiasta. Il personale molto cortese e disponibile.Tornerò p per provare altre pizze

16/08/2024: The place could also be nice... the prices might not be bad... too bad that (I don't know if it is due to factors of racism, homophobia, xenophobia, or simple hatred for tourists) the service is extremely bad. A gentleman (who seems to be the owner) deliberately ignored and avoided us while we called him to ask for a menu (even looking at our faces while we had our hand raised and changing direction), once we managed to ask the waitress for a list, this one, he brought it to us after over 15 minutes serving all the other tables first. Very bad. Advice for everyone: Just 20km away is Ivrea, which has so many pubs that definitely deserve more. I know I'll be doing myself a favor by saying, NEVER AGAIN

30/08/2024: Tutto perfetto: cucina, location, cortesia. Un vero agriturismo con sole pietanze preparate con materie prime di produzione propria. Veramente buonissimo!!!

28/08/2024: Tutto perfetto! Visto che sono vegetariana mi hanno preparato le opzioni vegetali ed erano tutte buone, il posto anche molto romantico e bello. Ho apprezzato molto anche il fatto che quando arrivi hai già qualche stuzzichino sul tavolo e il vino. Lo consiglio! (Purtroppo non ho fatto le foto a tutto perché ero intenta a mangiare 😅)

25/07/2024: Tre anni che alloggio in questo locale. Lodevole in ogni particolare. Dall'arredamento in stile Walser che adoro, al cibo ottimo, tradizionale e molto curato, alla pulizia eccellente di tutti i locali, alla cordialità e simpatia dei proprietari. Ogni volta che torno mi sento coccolata e come se fossi a casa mia. Esperienza che consiglio caldamente!!!!!!

07/08/2024: Right below the Verrès Castle, quiet and hospitable, good food (we ate two soups) with the right portions! Just one small note: in the soup with cabbage and fontina there was some meat not mentioned in the menu. Nothing unsolvable but I had to exchange the dish with my wife being a vegetarian. I would have preferred to know before but again, nothing unsolvable!
