15/08/2025: My boyfriend and I went there for lunch today, attracted by the positive reviews. Since it was August 15th, we made a reservation, but when we made the reservation, we weren't told that there were tables for about 12 people and that we would therefore have to share a table with other people. The problem was that while we were eating, the four people next to us started smoking (we hate smoking, especially while eating). It should be a courtesy of the restaurant to prohibit this (instead, they brought an ashtray to their table). I read the menu several times to decide what to eat based on the ingredients (since I'm lactose intolerant). I ordered a first course, and as soon as I put the first piece in my mouth, I realized it contained cheese. I mentioned it, and instead of changing my course, they apologized but didn't make up for it. At this point, my boyfriend gave me his polenta with sausage (which I don't recommend at all. The sausage was subpar for my taste), so let's say I ate almost nothing. But the best part was when we went to the cashier to pay and they had added the first course to the bill that I hadn't eaten. We pointed this out to them and they took it off us, otherwise I would have had to pay for something that was their mistake. I'm sorry, I almost never write negative reviews, but I strongly advise against it.

07/08/2025: Terrible welcome, refusal of access to the terrace, which was far from full at 2:30 p.m., after lunch service, for coffee, drinks and ice cream.

21/07/2025: Top resto ! Nous ne parlons pas bien italien mais le personnel parle français, trop cool. Nos filles ont été servies très rapidement comme demandé. La cuisine est typique du val d'Aoste et les portions vraiment copieuses. Cerise sur le gâteau, le patron nous a offert le digestif et une coupe chantilly pour les enfants. Merci a Stefano et son staff pour cette expérience culinaire et humaine mémorable. Nous reviendrons pour la grillade du weekend, promis ! ❤️❤️❤️

20/07/2025: Baita molto carina, con una bellissima vista sulle montagne, ma scomoda da raggiungere per via di un tratto di strada sterrato dove pascolano le mucche (lasciando escrementi nel parcheggio). Cibo buono, ma prezzi elevati. Abbiamo preso una raclette per due, buona, ma ci aspettavamo delle porzioni più abbondanti per il prezzo pagato (27 euro a persona per quattro pezzetti di formaggio ciascuno accompagnati da verdure grigliate, pochi sottaceti e mocetta). Apprezzato il gesto di offrire l'amaro a fine pasto.

27/04/2025: Siamo stati nell'ultimo fine settimana della stagione invernale, a ridosso della chiusura degli impianti, infatti non tutto il menù era disponibile, tuttavia la qualità dei piatti disponibili è stata indubbiamente ottima. Personale molto accogliente e gentile, camera piccola, comunque confortevole, bagno grande e comodo con il doppio lavandino. Posizione strategica, panorama davvero incantevole a 360 grandi, vista sul Cervino mozzafiato. Decisamente consigliato.

21/07/2025: We waited two hours for our nine pizza orders. Many guests arrived after us and received their pizzas before us. Perhaps it was because we were tourists and not locals. The pizzas themselves were delicious.

19/07/2025: Simple atmosphere Parking across the street Pizza could be MUCH improved! In fact, for a Saturday night at 8:00 PM, there were only 6 people there!! Bad sign?!

20/03/2025: Visited while in ski holiday , 2 adults & 3 kids. Realised we had been here 3 years ago when we last visited La thuile. They’ve renovated the dining room a lot so it’s really nice looking. Way more modern in style. Staff are so friendly. Wine list is good value. Food is very simple. Lots of pizzas which are good. Lamb chops are nice, 5 chops. Tagliata is nice too, but rocket was very limp. Sirloin steak good too. Overall meat dishes are nice, not amazing but that’s ok. Tiramisu was superb

08/03/2025: We noticed really quickly after we arrived to La Thuile that you need a reserveration. But the host offered us really quickly a take away alternative which we thought was a great suggestion. So 4 !!!! minutes wait - not more - not less - and we walked away with our very tasty veggie pizza. Great alternative!

04/03/2025: Una sera abbiamo deciso di prendere 2 pizze da asporto e sperimentare questo posto. Mai decisione fu più azzeccata. Noi, amanti/adoratori della pizza ne abbiamo mangiate poche buone come queste. Ricca di ingredienti, cotta al punto giusto e il cornicione, friabile, gonfio ma non è diventato molliccio come quello delle pizze napoletane. Siamo tornati il giorno dopo per complimentarci coi ragazzi ma era giorno di chiusura, peccato, se lo meritavano proprio! Speriamo leggano la nostra recensione. Da ritornare a occhi chiusi.

25/08/2025: Good wine, after all, not frizzante. The seafood mix, foccacia, and pizza were very good. The carbinara was a bit of a letdown. Overall, it was very good.

28/06/2025: Onderweg naar huis en vol verwachting in deze Trattoria terecht gekomen. Even geen pizza of broodje langs de autoroute. Vriendelijke ontvangst, er was geen menukaart. Mevrouw las op wat er was. We nemen samen 1 voorgerech. Ieder het hoofdgerecht. Water. 2 espresso, 1 glaasje wijn. Kwaliteit eten matig. Voorgerecht was redelijk. Hoofdgerecht niet lekker. Droog vlees, 2 plakken pp. doorgekookte wortels. Bak groene sla. Afrekenen € 80. Na mijn verbazing werd er opnieuw gerekend en was t € 70. Te veel.

26/06/2025: Superbe restaurant familiale avec des produits maisons, légumes, salades etc.. du jardin. Service top et chaleur. Rapport qualité prix excellent.

20/07/2025: Caprese was with underipe tomatoes and a few dry herbs. No oil and the bread was very dry and flavourless Great location alas food doesn't compare. Have a coffee and eat elsewhere!

27/05/2025: 20 minuti per fare una pizza (surgelata) immangiabile, costo troppo elevato per una pizza del genere, non ci riandrei. il pomodoro era freddo appena era arrivato il piatto , la mozzarella dura e disgustosa e l’impasto era crudo.
