17/11/2025: I was very disappointed with my experience at Le Sapin Rouge. Coming down from Cervinia, I stopped simply to ask for a toasted sandwich, but was told they could only make me a sandwich. Shortly afterward, however, I was told they didn't even have bread. Honestly, it seemed absurd: walking into a bar and finding out they can't even make a toasted sandwich or a sandwich is a bit like stopping for a coffee and being told they don't have coffee. A truly unprofessional incident, which leaves a bad impression on a place that, being in a tourist area, should at least guarantee the availability of basic products. I can't honestly judge the kitchen service, as I didn't even receive basic service.

05/09/2025: Finally, after a few years, in memory of memorable barbecues, we returned to Tamara and Pasquale. A magnificent confirmation. The best grilled fish, meat, and vegetables in the Aosta Valley are here. All accompanied by undisputed friendliness. Well done. Keep up the good work!

29/09/2025: As the name suggests, "ristoro" (a restaurant), it's a pleasant discovery: excellent food, good wine, and a friendly and welcoming welcome. A perfect place for a break, with a view...

16/08/2025: A quiet place where you can enjoy excellent polenta in all its variations. And that's not all, of course. The menu changes daily, but the basics are the polenta and the cold cuts platter. Parking is available near the restaurant; it's not huge, but adequate. There aren't many seats, so reservations are sometimes recommended.

15/08/2025: Very nice bar for an Aperol Spritz or a beer. Very nice atmosphere on outside and inside, staff were very friendly and the service was fast. Definitely we will visit it again.

07/09/2025: I'm really amused by the reviews about the hotel, which say it's outdated 🤣 You can see how it looks in the photos. It's not a soulless modern place, but a house with soul. It's an OLD house, not a modern Hilton. I loved everything about it: the room on the third floor, the sloping ceilings, the view from the wooden window, the nooks and crannies, the reception. Please don't change a thing!!! And the owner typing, a beautiful thing 🫶

21/08/2025: I stayed at the Hotel del Viale from August 18th to 24th. The location is excellent, at the end of Viale Monte Bianco. The shuttle stop is nearby, and the center is about 700 meters away on level ground. The rooms facing the entrance are quiet and peaceful, less so those at the back, which are very close to the road to Val Veny and Ferret and can smell the cooking smells. The owners are very attentive to their guests' needs, and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is varied and features fresh produce, and the dinners are decent and well-prepared. Furthermore, after a few days, we asked for a room change, and they accommodated us. The downsides: carpeting almost everywhere, and the bathrooms, which have not been renovated, have no shower. However, it is a highly recommended hotel for the free parking (which is difficult in Courmayeur), and for the professionalism of the staff and the cleanliness. We will be back!

30/12/2025: I went for dinner with my family on the evening of December 27th. Parking was difficult, the place was welcoming, and the staff were friendly, each with their own tasks (some taking orders for food, some for water, some for bread). The local food was excellent, served promptly, and the price was fair. I was satisfied and will return to try other local dishes and specialties (raclette, bourguignonne, and desserts). B.

10/05/2025: Fabulous welcome in a really nice setting. Everything from the welcome to the food and wine were first class. We had the Alpine menu 4 courses for €40 it was delicious and fantastic value for the quality of food. They have a huge wine selection and you can choose from reasonable prices or treat yourselves. The service was impeccable and made for a great night for my wife’s birthday.

13/09/2025: My husband and I stayed at this charming hotel during our vacation in the Aosta Valley and we had a wonderful time. The hotel is family-run, and everyone is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. We also ate at the restaurant, and everything was excellent!

08/08/2025: Authentic cuisine featuring traditional Aosta Valley dishes. Generous portions and excellent value. Service is appropriate for the setting and always courteous.

19/11/2025: Pinsa, not pizza, is characterized by a dough made with different flours and a very long leavening time. A spectacular choice that will satisfy every palate. With its distinctive rectangular shape, it's served on a wooden plate with a cutting wheel instead of a knife. Friendly and helpful staff, plenty of seating, ample and convenient parking, excellent service, and reasonable prices. The best in the Aosta area, a must-try.
