20/08/2025: Beautiful views of the mountains and Courmayeurs. Friendly, multilingual staff. Dinner, breakfast, and picnic were good. A 4-minute shower costs €2, but considering the value for money, it's next to nothing. I totally recommend Le Randonneur Chez Ollier.
20/08/2025: Attentive staff. For a refuge in Italy, the French language was perfectly spoken, a real comfort. High-quality picnic. Clean refuge. Very good meal. You can stop there during your TMB.

07/08/2025: A memorable evening in a typical Aosta Valley restaurant. A very welcoming atmosphere (you can also eat outside), but I recommend eating inside. I had an excellent Fassona steak and we both enjoyed a delicious raclette. We savored it to the last drop. We'd definitely return to try other dishes from the extensive menu. Everything was impeccably managed with the utmost courtesy by the owner and one of his staff. Reservations are recommended; the restaurant seems to be very popular in the area. Prices are a bit above the local average, but well worth it. Thank you for the wonderful evening you gave us.

18/08/2025: Excellent! They offered us a table even though we didn't have a reservation (on the condition that we free it up in 1.5 hours because it was already booked). The food, service, and atmosphere were spectacular! We'll definitely return if we return to Aosta.
18/08/2025: An experience that personally left me deeply saddened and embittered. Three others, along with me, went to eat as the first stop on our holiday at this pleasant-looking "inn" with excellent hospitality from the waiters. After ordering a good fondue appetizer and four different dishes, two with chanterelles, one with goose, and one with venison carpaccio, upon first tasting, I immediately noticed a very acidic aftertaste in my roast beef with chanterelles. After confirming this with the others at the table (who all gave me the same opinion), with the greatest respect and kindness possible, I called the attention of one of the staff members and mentioned almost in a whisper (the room was full anyway, and I would have been sorry to create a scene) that I thought there was something very strong about the flavor of the oil in my dish, and I politely asked if I could have it unseasoned. From this point on, the innkeeper became more heated, insinuating that I was questioning the quality of the food or the products they used (even though I, having worked in the restaurant business for over ten years, had adopted a less-than-offensive approach to avoid offending anyone). He then began to press me, almost forcefully placing a bottle of oil on the table (as if a restaurant could only have one), telling me I could taste it myself, and that it couldn't possibly be defective. After leaving us at the table in dismay (I repeat, I had tasted the dishes my companions had, and they were good), he returned with a menu, asking if I wanted to order anything else, and emphasizing that my dish would be thrown away (as if I were happy to waste food, especially animal food). At that point, I repeat that if I'd had the option, I would have gladly eaten the same dish, as long as it was made without oil (since both the mushrooms and the meat seemed delicious), but there's no way: the answer is again negative, and she is arrogantly pressed: "And in any case, whatever dish I choose from the menu, it will always be made with the same oil!!!" almost as if advising me not to order anything else. The embarrassment in the dining room is palpable, and I myself, despite not feeling guilty, nor having wanted to point fingers at anyone, find myself under the accusations of the restaurateur himself. Very uncomfortably, I "thank you" and, reiterating their reasoning without wanting to argue, I return the menu, especially since, in the meantime, my companions had finished their dishes, which, I repeat, did not have the same defect. The cherry on top comes at the cashier, where, with a smile, we are greeted with the final surprise: being charged in full for the returned dish! So we politely explained to the lady (it wasn't the same one) what had happened, and she, still smiling and already aware of the situation, explained that even though it had been refunded in full, they had prepared it, and we would still have to pay for it. Every attempt at mutual understanding was snuffed out, and we certainly wouldn't have argued over €18 for a roast beef, which we ultimately paid with respect and civic duty, something that unfortunately wasn't reciprocated in the slightest by the restaurant's treatment. For me, it's a disappointment, not only because it will leave us all with the bitter taste of a truly mocking injustice as a "start to vacation," but above all because the contrast between the seemingly homely and welcoming restaurant and the treatment we received due to a "truly silly" mix-up is something that personally left me truly shocked. I sincerely hope it never happens to anyone again, because regardless of my missed meal, the feeling of being publicly blamed, in front of the entire room and with aggression, is something I will never easily forget, and something I never imagined could happen in such an environment.

Lorenzo was fantastic wih his advice and level of service and generally a lovely guy. Hernan also. Tasty breakfasts and a relaxed vibe. Advice on restaurants, skiing, instructors and the local area was spot on. Thanks
13/04/2025: An excellent choice of lodging. The room was lovely, perfect for 4 of us. The views were amazing. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The food is delicious (have a dinner here- the owner is a fantastic cook). Breakfasts are divine. They helped us book a ski school for our kids. Great location just minutes from ski slopes. Definitely coming back!

16/07/2025: The little place doesn't look very inviting at first, but... FRUIT GRANITA (not syrup) is DELICIOUS! Intense and refreshing flavor. Watermelon recommended! The girl at the counter was very kind and radiant.

16/08/2025: This restaurant is located in a small village called Vetan, a strategic point with a breathtaking view of the Grivola right in front, the Ruitor to the right, and the Becca di Nona and Mont Emilius to the left. From there, you can also set off for the Fallère refuge. Here, you can enjoy excellent Aosta Valley dishes, excellent wines, and the staff is professional, friendly, and helpful, especially when it comes to choosing menus for special occasions.

09/06/2025: Restaurant dans camping. La serveuse renverse une bière sur moi. Aucune excuse et s en va. C est une autre serveuse qui voit et qui vient nous aider à nettoyer. Aucun geste commercial à la fin alors que j ai mangé trempé. A fuir seul 1 serveur sympathique. Pinsa trop salées.
08/06/2025: Great location, great pinsa and great professionalism. The place has an internal room, a covered veranda and an outdoor area. We were a couple with friends and we ate the pinsa, the highlight of this place. The dough is crumbly, light, delicate and at the same time it stands out from everything and everyone. There are different types of fillings to satisfy all tastes. The prices are competitive and I highly recommend it!
