06/04/2024: I'm sorry to make a criticism of this structure that I would have liked to enjoy for Easter with voucher number 20240225446302 but we couldn't due to fever Saturday is Easter Sunday we called asking to be able to move the weekend to another date we were told a categorical no without possibility it's true that I hadn't made the association... but I think that a little common sense never hurts... in any case we didn't have a good signal from all the staff, certainly the fever is something else I couldn't have foreseen, in other facilities some time ago moved the dates even though we had to give a difference.... 05/04/2024: MAKE YOURSELF COMFORTABLE AND READ. IRONIC REVIEW: SEVERE BUT FAIR. Rooms: FROM THE PHOTOS beautiful, spacious and spotless (I DON'T KNOW LIVE...). Position: FROM GOOGLE MAPS fantastic position in the middle of the Umbrian scrub and strategic given the many delightful villages nearby (I DON'T LOSE LIVE...). Spa: DA PHOTO has everything you need for beautiful moments of relaxation (I DON'T LOSE LIVE...). Restaurant part one: FROM THE PHOTO the restaurant room is beautiful with terracotta floors, opus testaceum brick columns and exposed stone walls; the windows as far as the eye can see over the Umbrian hills and green slopes are enchanting (I DON'T KNOW LIVE...). Restaurant part two: FROM THE PHOTO both for breakfast and for dinner everything is rich and abundant, ranging from sweet to savory with typical Umbrian products and everything would seem delicious and succulent (I DON'T LOSE LIVE...). Service: in the meantime we should understand what is meant by service but let's leave it at that... OR NOT: together with my wife we ​​decide to book directly by interacting with the structure to spend two nights in this enchanting place (6 and 7 April 2024) on the occasion of the birthday of my wife with half board and also agreeing on two accesses to the spa. Unfortunately, something unexpected happens and for serious family reasons (which I won't write here because they are personal) we have to give up the stay so TWO days before we contact the property by telephone to inform them that (like the game of MONOPOLY) we have ended up on the unexpected events box and we cannot stay with them. Before contacting the property we were obviously well aware of the cancellation policy which (unfortunately, in our case) provided for a charge equal to 50% of the total cost so speaking about it with my wife I told her: "...you'll see that they will understand the situation and we will they will come towards you...". What I meant by "they will come to our aid" was certainly not avoiding the €160 charge but what follows... Let's go back to the phone call to the facility. We call, I think an employee of the facility whose name I don't know answers and we explain the situation to her; she immediately interrupts us reminding us of the cancellation policies and that she can't do anything. We had not asked to avoid the charge, quite the opposite, we RIGHTLY said: we would have been happy to agree new dates with them more or less after a month/month and a half and we would have also paid the entire sum but the employee was adamant and I also say rightly (if she had been an employee she had no decision-making power in the matter) but she could have told us given the family situation that had presented itself to us: "...I can try to ask the owner or the director if she was possible to make an exception..." MORAL OF THE PAPYRUS Cancellation policies exist and it's right that they exist because otherwise it would be like the jungle and everyone (by everyone I mean all the hypothetical customers) would feel they have the right to do anything. I would also find the application of the penalty fair if the structure had suffered real economic damage or not been able to "sell" "my" room to other customers but the structure did not suffer the damage given that I phoned 15 minutes ago personally and I was told that they have ample availability of a single suite but a wide availability of classic and superior rooms (my wife had booked a superior). I hope that in similar situations in the future you can have a little more sensitivity with everyone. I said everything. Good job to all those who work professionally at your facility. 25/02/2024: siamo stati a cena da Mangiavino la sera di San Valentino. luogo accogliente, personale disponibile e molto affabile seppur il servizio un po lungo, che ci ha accolto da subito con un flut di spumante e delle pizzette fatte da loro. qualità degli alimenti buona, assemblata bene che fornisce un buon risultato al gusto. prezzo leggermente sopra la media ma da considerare l'aumento generale dei prezzi sulle materie prime.

02/03/2024: I was there last night for the first time and I must say it was a real discovery. Very nice place in the center of Terni where we went in for a pizza then decided for a tasting appetizer kindly recommended by the very polite, kind and very attentive waiter, you have details of the service which is not to be taken for granted. And I must say that everything was delicious from the selection of hams, cheeses served, not to mention the spectacular supplì made by them and the delicious pork chips. I will definitely return and recommend it to everyone

05/02/2024: Excellent pizza cooked in a wood oven. The quality ingredients are especially appreciated: buffalo mozzarella, local Moraiolo oil. In addition to the pizza, excellent first and second courses with grilled US Angus meat. Fast service. It is advisable to book even if the venue has many seats.

Il sevizio è cortese e discretamente veloce, i piatti gustosi si dividono in cucina locale e cucina partenopea. Il prezzo è stato un po' più alto di quanto mi sarei aspettato. Tuttavia mi sento di attribuirgli una votazione positiva.

30/03/2024: Trattoria located in the center of Orvieto a few steps from the cathedral. Polite and kind staff. Excellent value for money! We tried the pappardelle with wild boar which was really excellent. A plate of pasta each, a side dish, a coffee around 18 euros. Really excellent for the goodness and quality of the food. Highly recommended

30/03/2024: Today, together with my parents and grandparents we had lunch in this small restaurant located in the center of Orvieto. The place is clean and I deduce it has been recently renovated, with a simple and rustic but refined style. As soon as they arrived at the table they promptly brought bread and water. We had a total of five first courses: umbrichelli (a type of typical local pasta similar to spaghetti but more homemade) alla amatriciana and umbrichelli alla cave (seasoned with pistachio and bacon). Pasta cooked just right and abundant, fresh sauces. As second courses we ordered two grilled steaks and two mixed salads. These are good too. Then we had 5 desserts (tiramisu, pannacotta and chocolate and caramel mousse) which were also very good. Finally, we ordered 4 coffees and two bitters. The service was excellent: waiters attentive, kind and fast. To underline the professionalism, friendliness and friendliness of the waiter Franco who welcomed us and served us with familiarity. The price, bearing in mind that the restaurant is located in the centre, is modest. Right quality/price.
