05/04/2026: I've been there before, but this time I was disappointed. The quality isn't the same as it was a few months ago.
The service is attentive and excellent, and the place is wonderful as always.
Unfortunately, the food isn't top-notch anymore.
30/03/2026: It's not just a trattoria, but a well-executed little journey.
The food? Truly remarkable. Carefully crafted dishes, distinct but never banal flavors, a sense of research that's palpable without becoming pretentious. Not the usual "crafty" menu, but something that speaks of attention, thought, and even a good deal of heart. And then the ambiance... another level. Every detail seems carefully chosen, nothing left to chance. It's not just beautiful: it's coherent, warm, and makes you want to stay seated a little longer, even after you've finished eating. Those trattorias that don't shout, but remain.

07/04/2026: Valentina's restaurant offers expertly prepared dishes with unique flavors. Both the meat and seafood are of excellent quality, as are the ingredients. The wine cellar is well-stocked.
The presentation of the dishes is beyond fabulous, and the service is attentive and professional. I've been coming here for over twenty years and it's always a pleasure. Rossi is a sure thing, and today I can confidently say it's one of the best Umbrian restaurants I know.
06/04/2026: I went to this place about a year ago, and the famous truffled fillet was over a hand and a half long, quite tall, or thick, if you like. It was divided into two pieces, covered in truffle, and served on a large oval plate. Excellent, I'd say, considering how much they charge for it, and the quality is exquisite.
Half a year later, the fillet went from a hand and a half to barely a hand, with less truffle, served on a large dinner plate, but still good, and unfortunately, at the same price.
In the early months of 2026, the fillet had become little more than a fistful, noticeably shorter, and the truffle was in ridiculous quantities, still at the same price, served on a standard dinner plate, which, upon receipt, really gave the impression of a humble dish. Just like the first courses my companion ordered. Over time, they've "depreciated" in quantity but not in price.
Of course, the crisis is for everyone, but this way you hurt the returning customer, and it doesn't seem like a fair way to make ends meet.
Too bad it used to be great.

19/08/2025: Terrible experience, don't go!
We ordered pizzas and were served with extremely dry dough, with equally questionable toppings, all incredibly salty, but never as much as the bill!
Three 8/10 cm long focaccias with three slices of salami for €18 (as if it were Cracco's bakery!), to be eaten on the side of the road on plastic chairs and tables!
The pizzas (called pizzas, but calling them pizzas takes courage) were made with a dry, hard dough, poorly rolled out, and cooked to the point of being practically inedible.
For those who think "we're in Le Marmore and therefore everything costs more," it's helpful to know that we paid the same amount in the center of Pisa with the Leaning Tower behind us, but we actually ate a slice of edible, delicious pizza sitting at a table outside.
We were expecting a more down-to-earth and affordable place given the location, but we were wrong!
Further along is the Conad, where lunch is definitely more edible and your wallet is safer!
19/08/2025: Never again!
Inedible pizza, dry and hard, and the focaccias are incredibly salty, both in terms of the dough and the price.
A focaccia split in half with three slices of salami costs €6, eaten on plastic chairs on the side of a road. The sign "sandwiches and stuffed focaccias" on the side of the road, a must for those coming from Marmore, is a decoy. Tourists passing by at lunchtime (as we were), attracted by the sign and since there are no other focaccia shops nearby, will stop and order, thinking the prices are reasonable, given the location and the products on display.
(NOTE THAT THE PRICE IS NOT DISPLAYED!)
At the end, they'll be surprised by the bill, as if they'd gone to eat at a restaurant!
Extremely expensive, practically non-existent value for money.

06/01/2025: Tornare al Grottino è sempre ina gioia/ personale gentile, cucina ottima a mio parere. oggi non ho provato come sempre le ciriole ma ho chiesto fettuccine con crema di fave pecorino e guanciale: una delizia. Gamberi di fiume e agnello scottadito. 🥰🥰🥰
12/10/2024: Posto molto informale e struttura da sistemare. Personale poco professionale, è stato portato a tavola un calice di vino che gocciolava macchiando la tovaglia. Affettato misto impalpabile, pappardelle al cinghiale senza sapore. Pulizia scarsa. In posti come questi ci si aspetta la genuinità dei prodotti e piatti tipici che non trovavo.

20/05/2024: Siamo infinitamente grati al Mola bella. Abbiamo ricevuto tantissimi complimenti in occasione di un matrimonio, il cibo era eccezionale, c’era varietà e ampia quantità, il servizio era impeccabile. Il Team ha fatto un lavoro perfetto. Non potevamo scegliere catering migliore. Siamo veramente felici e ne saremo riconoscenti a vita. Grazie Andrea e il team, una garanzia !

04/03/2024: Questo Ristorante è perfetto per qualsiasi cerimonia, con la sua loggia ed il prato che si ergono come segno di pregio del ristorante stesso. Mi ci sono ritrovato a distanza di qualche anno per una cena in famiglia e sono stato strabene sia dal punto di vista culinario che dall'essermi trovato talmente a mio agio che ho pensato di essere a casa. Il proprietario Andrea è molto preparato nel settore difatti da quanto ho capito è impegnato parallelamente nel settore Banqueting con moltissime recensioni positive e con la vincita del Premio Wedding Awards. Onestamente nella splendida ed iconica Umbria presa anche di Mira dal Grande Benigni con il Film "La Vita è Bella", il Ristorante la Mola bella è un ennesimo segno di Pregio che valorizza sia lo spettacolare borgo di Arrone, dove è situato il Ristorante, che la Regione stessa. Che dire....molto spesso si cerca l'eccellenza chissà dove senza accorgersi che la si ha sottomano. Un plauso anche a tutto il suo staff e alla moglie Tiziana che supporta con calma serafica, sacrificio e dedizione tutti gli eventi. Un posto che straconsiglio per le vostre gite fuori porta e se vogliate degustare piatti di Eccellenza.

23/09/2023: Il posto perfetto per gustare prodotti tipici umbri, selezionati con la massima cura. Primi indimenticabili, preparati con pasta fresca fatta in casa.

28/08/2023: Alle 13.30 di una calda domenica eravamo alla ricerca di un posto per pranzo. Tagliere misto, cannelloni e lasagne da asporto per un vero pranzo della domenica. Tutto gustosissimo!

06/01/2025: Abbiamo visitato l'Umbria per qualche giorno con amici e alloggiavamo in un BB vicino. Le nostre colazioni le abbiamo fatte sempre qui all'isola...colazioni top! Ampia scelta dolce e salata, ma quello che ci è rimasta nel cuore è stata la gentilezza e la cortesia di Alvaro, che ci ha coccolato e soprattutto consigliato per visitare i dintorni e dove cenare. Siamo ripartiti certi di avere un amico in più.

07/10/2024: Almorzamos aquí dos veces. Cada vez fue mejor que la siguiente. Tenía pasta allá chitarra amatriciana. Excelente. También fuimos con primos y disfrutamos del antipasto y pasta carbonara. Los precios son muy razonables. Ambiente muy informal al aire libre (cubierto)
