Friendly staff and prompt service. Generous traditional Umbrian dishes. Excellent handmade pasta and quality meats. Decent selection of the best local wines. Free parking!

Here I am again 😂, Sunday evening on the highway from Carsoli towards Piacenza, dinner time. I chose this trattoria near the Orvieto exit. I must say it was a random choice, but it was an excellent one. It's a true old-fashioned trattoria, with characteristic, rustic, and pleasant decor. The staff are friendly and helpful, the bruschetta is delicious, and the first courses with homemade pasta are excellent, and the second courses are good. Excellent value. I recommend it and will return if I'm in the area again.

Just a few minutes from the highway toll booth, it's well worth a stop for an excellent lunch. The place is a bit dated, but that's what makes it charming. The plentiful appetizers were good, the pappardelle excellent, and the black pork sausage with sautéed chicory was excellent. We didn't try any desserts or wine, but the coffee was good and the service was excellent. I'll be back.

A quick lunch while passing through the area. Service wasn't the fastest, but it was friendly. The wild boar stew in white sauce was good. The tiramisu was excellent. Two main courses, two side dishes, two desserts, and two half liters of water for €57. Conveniently located off the highway.

22/02/2026: Everything was perfect thanks to the impeccable service that complements the dream cuisine. The "ceriole" are incredible. The place is cute and welcoming. I'm Tuscan and I've been there every time I'm in Umbria. I can't wait to go back.
10/02/2026: You're guaranteed to find typical Umbrian food here. Even with plenty of tables, the service never leaves anyone waiting, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

09/07/2025: A must-try. This restaurant has been open for about 70 years and has been run by the same family for generations. The hospitality is top-notch, and the food is superbly prepared. When the lady saw we'd really enjoyed the crostini with pâté, she spontaneously brought us another portion. I call this a little treat. I personally had the Italian-style appetizer, made with delicious local ingredients, but the incredibly delicious pappardelle with hare was a cut above, and then the guinea fowl with its cooking juices you could dip your face in. Superb! To top it all off, the homemade desserts were accompanied by coffee and grappa, which she left with the entire bottle. But the incredible thing is the prices. We're talking first courses between €6 and €9 with truly sizable portions, and second courses between €9 and €15—basically, prices stuck in the '80s, with truly high-quality food, believe me. So if you're passing through Narni, pop into Trattoria Tiberina in Taizzano and you won't regret it.
