12/04/2026: We booked a double room at Altarocca Wine Resort for what was supposed to be a special night: the last of our honeymoon. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a bitter experience, marked by frustration, disappointment, and utter disappointment with the way the situation was handled. As soon as we entered the room, we realized that the so-called "double bed" was actually two single mattresses pushed together, with a visible indentation in the middle. Sleeping was uncomfortable and frustrating, far from what one would expect for a €190 a night. The most serious issue wasn't just the problem itself, but the way it was handled. After immediately reporting the situation at check-in, we were told that to get a true double mattress, we would have to book a higher room category, paying an additional €50. And, rather casually, we were told that "it was still a double bed." Frankly, an unacceptable response for a property that should and does boast such standards. The next day, upon checkout, no one even bothered to ask us how our stay had gone (and I also consider this to be in poor taste). I was the one who had to raise the issue again, only to be met with a cold and indifferent attitude, as if the issue were irrelevant. Zero customer service, zero empathy, and zero professionalism. Making everything even more unpleasant was the fact that it was the last night of our honeymoon: a moment that should have been pleasant, relaxing, and memorable, but which was instead ruined by this experience. Finally, the organization of the wine tasting also left much to be desired, which is paradoxical for a property called a wine resort: I had asked for a wine tasting upon our arrival at 5:00 PM, but we were told they would have to check the sommelier's availability at that time. In essence, we would have had to start without even having time to settle into our room. An unreasonable proposal, which we obviously declined. In conclusion, a well-presented organization that, in reality, proved to be inattentive to customers, inflexible, and unprofessional in handling issues. For the price paid and for the occasion, I expected something completely different. Absolutely not worth it.

11/04/2026: A terrible experience, bordering on embarrassing. We chose this "resort" for the last night of our honeymoon, trusting the photos on Booking. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different: the common areas were beautiful, but the rooms were unworthy. Our €190 "double suite" was old, neglected, and had a noisy heater that ran pointlessly at 25°C, which—according to the staff—couldn't be turned off. The result: a night spent sweating and sleeping terribly. The so-called double bed? Two single beds pushed together. When I asked for clarification (remember: I was on my honeymoon and almost six months pregnant), the receptionist's response was arrogant: for that price, we had to "make do," and the real double bed was an upgrade, payable separately. Surreal. The restaurant was even worse. We had reported our pregnancy and dietary restrictions in advance, but once we were seated, there was practically nothing I could eat: only raw meats, cured meats, cheeses, and meat. No alternative. I left with a flan and still hungry. Kudos to the customer service. Breakfast was in line with the rest: 13 cakes (including an out-of-place cheesecake), but you have to pay extra for scrambled eggs. Absurd. In conclusion: resort prices, service like a makeshift guesthouse. They ruined the last night of our honeymoon, treating us superficially and unprofessionally. Definitely not recommended.

31/12/2025: Sunday, December 27th, was a wonderful sunny day at the Marmore Falls, made even more special by the porchetta, vegetables, and desserts of this excellent restaurant. The owners and waiters were extremely hospitable and friendly; we'll be back! From Mantua

26/02/2026: Exceptional pizza, delicious, thin crust and well-cooked in a wood-fired oven. Superb menu. The service was excellent; I was well-attended and assisted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'm giving it only three stars for atmosphere because I found it too noisy. It's a huge room with lots of tables, reminiscent of an 80s pizzeria.

22/02/2026: Booked with friends and...I have to say, VeryGood in name and in fact!! 👍 Excellent service, pampered by the friendly and professional Marisol, delicious pizza and homemade desserts, not to mention the clean place. I will definitely be back!!!!

28/02/2026: You probably won't find it on The Fork or TripAdvisor, but it deserves five stars for the quality of the food and the friendliness and kindness of the staff. Excellent dishes prepared directly by the owner.

10/01/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We ate well. Tagliatelle with black truffle was truly delicious. The Orvieto Chardonnay was excellent. The wild boar with polenta and the mixed boiled meats were equally excellent. The desserts, both the castagnaccio and the ricotta cake, were truly delicious. The price was in line with the quality of the ingredients. Definitely worth trying.

13/04/2026: A lovely place to stop for lunch, a rustic restaurant overlooking a beautiful garden with adjoining ponds. The location is excellent, as is the service: the staff is attentive and fast, and the food is excellent. It's also a great location for those planning to hike in our mountains or stroll along the Stura River. I definitely recommend it.

08/04/2026: Surrounded by beautiful nature, easy to find, very friendly staff, and two lakes on the property...what more could you want?

15/04/2026: This time, we were a group, occupying two rooms. The restaurant is small but very welcoming and warm. Chef Yuri delighted us with his own menus, some featuring meat and some fish. The first course was a selection of appetizers, a feast for the eyes and palate, with unique flavor combinations that exploded in the mouth. Then came a risotto cooked perfectly and creamily, a crispy and dry fried fish dish, and a chocolate and strawberry dessert that was the icing on the cake. Everything was truly impeccable, the service always attentive, courteous, and fast. My children had spaghetti with clams and tagliatelle with Chianina beef ragù, even mopping up the bread with their bread. What can I say? This restaurant in the center of Terni remains one of my favorites, a true gem in the city. We'll see you again very soon.

18/04/2026: When the ingredients are excellent, there's no need to disguise them or renovate them, just enhance them, and this Bettola del Buttero knows this well. Making simplicity its hallmark, the restaurant exudes love from every tile, and the master grill chef demonstrates all this love in the grilled meats: a unique experience in the Umbria-Lazio region. Recommended: the potatoes cooked in ash!

05/04/2026: Easter 2026. Family lunch. Luckily, we had booked a table; the restaurant was naturally full. We waited about 45 minutes before being able to eat, but we were certainly in no rush. Our hunger made us savor the exquisite dishes we ordered even more. Almost everything featured truffles, grilled meat, and porcini mushrooms. Three appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and two desserts, plus coffee. Generous portions and very friendly waiters. The restaurant has a slightly retro, yet very understated decor that makes you feel like you're in a family atmosphere. Compliments to Chef Simona and her staff.

The restaurant has a casual yet meticulously curated style: every detail is tastefully considered. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined without being pretentious. The service was excellent. Those who looked after us showed rare calm and professionalism: attentive but never invasive, present at the right time, and with a genuine smile combined with a kindness that truly makes the difference. As for the food, it was simply excellent. High-quality ingredients, clean and distinctive flavors, and meticulous attention to detail in every dish. The gluten-free menu was particularly appreciated: it wasn't an "adapted version," but a preparation conceived and executed with the same care and attention to detail as the other dishes. There was no compromise on flavor. In short, a restaurant that manages to combine informality, attention to detail, quality ingredients, and truly calm and competent service. We'll definitely be back, and we're happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a place to eat well in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere just steps from the Duomo. 5 well-deserved stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

01/05/2026: We just ate at this delightful little restaurant. We had a wonderful meal! They have a wide variety of gluten-free options! I had a plate of gluten-free ombrichelli alla norcina and the ricotta and chocolate cake, as well as their homemade gluten-free bread, served warm! Everything was absolutely delicious!
