16/03/2026: One of the most wonderful dining experiences we had during our time in Orvieto! Fresh, delicious, and fulfilling food. Our bruschetta was amazing, then our main dishes exceeded that! 03/05/2026: My partner and I happened upon this place by chance a few weeks ago. The entrance to the restaurant is certainly unique, yet very authentic. The owner's welcome immediately gives you a sense of warmth and authenticity, and the rest of the staff is also incredibly kind. The quality and flavor of the food are beyond words; it simply has to be experienced! Thanks to Carlo (if I'm not mistaken, that's the owner's name) for this sensational experience!

02/05/2026: The food was good, average; I wasn't impressed, but I wasn't disappointed either. The prices were definitely high (the first course was around €17-18). The staff was very kind and helpful, which is probably its strength. Unfortunately, the rest was nothing special: the atmosphere was dark and neglected, the glasses were all sorts of different (I dined with a cocktail glass, also used for wine), and the house wine was definitely not to be ordered. I definitely won't be returning.

26/04/2026: Four of us dined at this restaurant on the evening of April 25, 2026, and it was a wonderful experience of flavors, aromas, courtesy, and familiarity. A 10 out of 10 goes to the entire dinner, from the platters to the first courses, the meat, and the side dishes, all enhanced by the friendliness of Claudio and his entire family. We didn't try the desserts just because we were full, but we promise to return with more friends and enjoy the dessert experience as well. The price was fair and honest.

01/02/2026: We had lunch with our entire football team ⚽ Ponte Vecchio which plays in the Umbria Excellence championship. We ate very well, everything homemade, truly exceptional. 22/03/2026: The atmosphere is welcoming and spacious, like a true osteria. The waiters are super kind and helpful. The service is fast and knowledgeable. We had pasta with artichokes and gnocchi, followed by meatballs in tomato sauce. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. Perhaps a little too peppery, but the dishes were truly quality. The quality/price ratio was average. We really enjoyed our meal, and we'll be back.

28/04/2026: We had dinner for the first time. We ate: scafata di fava beans; lamb and chicken; roast; chicory and radicchio. All accompanied by excellent red wine. The cooking was excellent and the ingredients were of high quality. We were served by Miss Sofia, who with her courtesy was able to satisfy our every request. The quality/price ratio was excellent. Welcoming location and family atmosphere.

01/05/2026: Was looking forward to an enjoyable final dinner in Italy, but unfortunately we ended up here. The server was pretentious and unwelcoming, and wouldn’t give us the time of day. He refused to look at or speak to us. The whole experience was terribly uncomfortable. It was a disappointing experience to leave a beautiful place with. Would not recommend if you’re visiting.

10/05/2026: A charming place, unique and very good food, with seasonal menus! We've been here many times and always had a great time!!! The only flaw we've noted previously is the service, with waiters who were inexperienced and not up to par for a certain type of restaurant (especially considering the price!). - Not adequately informed about what's on the menu. - They brought us the wine, let one of us taste it, and then didn't serve it; in fact, they even closed it with the cork (red wine!) before putting it on the table. - When they bring the food, they don't say what it is... (especially for appetizers or similar first courses). - When it comes to the bill, the amount is not listed. Small touches that would add value to a place that is beautiful in itself and worth it!

03/05/2026: Fantastic dinner. Enchanting village. The dishes were all excellent. The carefully curated welcome aperitif immediately shows the attention paid to the customer. The stuffed pasta with guinea fowl was truly delicious, the gnocchi with ragù were super delicate and flavorful. The lamb with vegetables and potatoes was cooked to perfection. The chocolate and hazelnut dessert was not cloying at all and was not your average chocolate brownie. Excellent wine list.

27/04/2026: Good morning, I first arrived in 1992, then returned in 1993, then briefly in the early 2000s. Twenty years later, I returned with my entire family and found the hospitality to have grown exponentially; it was much more organized and captivating. It has certainly lost its initial spontaneity, the naturalness derived from the landscape and its agricultural vocation. But overall, it's still a "place of the heart," where affection and nostalgia lose their identity, blending together, leaving a great void when it's time to return to daily life! Kudos to those who care for this place, those who hold the fortunes of this "borgo" farm in their hands. There's no flaw, from the service to the cuisine, from the reception to the rooms, the friendliness, competence, and professionalism. A place to recommend with flying colors. Bruno from Imola.

08/04/2026: We stayed for one night, it was a very good experience. I really can't complain about anything. The castle is such a cool location. And the food was extraordinary! We got the 5-course-menu. It was the best food we got during the whole vacation. They also pay attention to allergies or food preferences (like vegetarian or gluten free). As for the breakfast, there are so many choices. You can really feel that they still make an effort.
