I ordered a large bottle of beer to share, and not only did they charge me for two, but they also brought me two glasses of beer (I assumed they would have divided the beer between the two glasses before bringing them, but no...). To top it all off, they didn't even bring us the snacks that the other tables had. I would never go back.

30/12/2025: Had dinner today, December 30, 2025. I definitely think I'll be back because the seafood (appetizer, first course, and second course) was excellent and fresh. The staff were welcoming and kind, and the atmosphere was clean. The homemade desserts were also a plus. Thank you, highly recommended.

24/11/2025: A warm, welcoming, intimate, elegant atmosphere, where everyone often speaks softly out of respect for the other tables, a place where all the dishes are beautifully presented and have excellent flavor, fragrance, tenderness, and authenticity! I love it! The owner and the chef are very kind, never intrusive, attentive to the needs of the table with kindness and devotion to the food, its flavor, and its meaning. I recommend it!!!

01/03/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant, and we won't be back. There were three tables in the room, including us, so it wasn't very crowded. We each ordered a dish (there were three of us), and the side dish arrived first, followed by the main course 10 minutes later, the second course another 10 minutes later, and finally mine, after everyone else had already finished eating. My soup had very dirty mussels and way too much pepper (I even thought I could taste the basil, but I later proved otherwise). It wasn't to my liking; I can't tolerate too much pepper, so I didn't eat it. The quality of the fish in the other dishes wasn't great either. When the young lady asked me if she could take the soup away, I replied, "Yes, please," and with gratuitous arrogance she said, "But you'll pay for it!" No, are you kidding? Of course I paid for it, I didn't say or ask for anything... but never, and I mean never, do you address customers like that! Of course, we got up, paid the bill, and got coffee somewhere else. Once we got home, I looked at the receipt and it didn't add up... 1 less place setting, 1 extra dish, and things we hadn't ordered. So we went back to the restaurant to settle the bill, but the experience was definitely a negative one.

23/11/2025: We thought about trying this place, but the look of the pizzeria and the pizza itself were completely unimpressive. A slice, or 4th part, costs as much as a whole pizza next to it. And the pizza looks repulsive. I don't know what it tastes like, so I didn't want to try it.

23/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nice bar, welcoming and always clean. Excellent breakfasts, really good cappuccinos and croissants. The staff is friendly, smiling and makes you feel at ease right away.

09/10/2025: I've always found the staff at the counter to be friendly and smiling, and vegan, lactose-free, and even gluten-free options are available. Among the best I've ever found! There's also a small internal garden where you can sit for breakfast (or something else).

29/11/2025: Right next to the water. Beautiful views and comes a with pretty useful gym and an amazing daily free and quite large breakfast. Dated TV in the room but besides that great hotel with great staff at a great price.

12/11/2025: Despite some stressful situations, the staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. The food was varied and delicious; they were very attentive to my allergies and intolerances and offered excellent alternative suggestions. The dining room could be made a bit more inviting; it felt a little too bright and bare and had unpleasant acoustics. We were satisfied with the breakfast and its selection: very good coffee, juices, several types of bread and rolls, muesli, various cold cuts, ham and cheeses, egg dishes and sausages, fruit, and sweet treats – everything you could want. Two minor issues in the room were promptly resolved. The rooms are adequately sized; we just wish there had been more storage space and clothes hangers. All in all, a good option for staying close to Pisa, Livorno, and Lucca.

25/02/2026: A simple and elegant atmosphere; a quiet place where you can converse without the noise. The coffee and cappuccino are always hot, and the desserts are good.

07/02/2026: Avoid! Given that I won't be setting foot there again. Mediocre quality and rudeness with a smile. Around 5:15 PM. I park my car in the adjacent parking lot and go to pay, where it says the ATM isn't working due to parking meter renewal. My elderly mother stays in the car and gives me €50 to buy something and get some change in coins. I enter the bar, wanting only a coffee, but then I felt bad about changing €50 for just a coffee, so I ordered a coffee and a slice of Valdostana to go. At the cashier's desk, I see they have cigarettes, so I decide to get those too. When I get change, I kindly ask for at least €5 in coins. The guy with the forced smile tells me it's no problem. The change contains bills and only 40 cents in coins (ultimately the change owed). Thinking he didn't understand, I politely ask him again to change the €5 in coins, but he tells me he can't, so as not to run out of coins. So I ask him, "Excuse me, but if I had a coffee, would you have given me the coins?" He says, "Of course." I politely tell him I'm not taking the cigarettes anymore (they were still on the counter), and he's about to put them away, then turns around and says, "Oh, I can't, I've already sold them." We all know that immediate returns are possible... of course. Realizing that he was acting this way out of principle, and with my elderly mother waiting for me in the car, I ask him, in a heartfelt and polite way, "Please help me. Can you change these €5 for me?" He rings the coins (quite a few) in the cash register with his hands, and with a cynical smile, says, "I'm sorry, I can't, I'd be left without coins. You can pay for parking with your debit card (a genius...). I leave without even saying goodbye, and he doesn't even say goodbye after spending €9.60 on a burnt coffee and a greasy, crumbled Valdostana. I go to the parking lot, incredulous and angry, and try to find someone who can change me five euros. I find a girl I could have hugged. When I tell her the story, she's speechless, having no change for me. A little later, she calls me back and says, "Ma'am, I have these coins. Take them." I reply, "How do I give them back?" She replies, "Forget it." The girl saved me a fine and allowed my mother and I to go downtown for an hour (by then, it was almost six o'clock). Anyway, a place should know the parking situation next door... This experience alone is enough to tell me I won't set foot in there again, and I won't give this place any positive publicity.

21/02/2026: The staff who greeted us were very rude. We booked a triple room, but they gave us a double room with a camp bed practically attached to the double bed, and it was obvious it wasn't a triple. With that camp bed, we couldn't open the window. Necessary for a bathroom for two people. Breakfast was available for a single group at a fixed time, forcing the entire group to go down at the same time.

20/02/2026: Calling it 4 stars is a stretch. Let's call it a good 3-star. Decent, clean rooms, but: - the double bed is made up of two single mattresses that aren't very firm (they tend to split), which is quite uncomfortable. - tacky bathroom. - breakfast is barely acceptable (it could be improved). Clean, but there's a lot to improve. Location: Not too close to the airport. Good, too close to the city. Unprofessional, unhelpful staff.

12/12/2025: I've been frequenting this restaurant for some time now. Whenever I'm in Pisa, I always return, even today, and there's a reason. The quality of the dishes prepared. The menu varies slightly depending on seasonal produce. Reinventing dishes isn't easy, and the way chef Sandra does it is a skill. Reviews don't give the right impression; you have to try them. In every dish I've tasted so far, there hasn't been a single ingredient out of place or cooked incorrectly. The dishes are simply a feast for the eyes and the palate. And each dish is accompanied by a fresh, warm focaccia each time. Her husband, who takes orders in the dining room, explains in great detail not only the dishes but also how they're made, as well as the wines he offers. To those who say the wait is long, I personally didn't wait more than 10 minutes for a single course with a full dining room. Considering there's only one chef, I'd say it's not bad at all. And the dishes are worth the wait. Regarding the price, I'd say it's absolutely commensurate with the quality. In fact, it's perhaps even lower than it could be. I give it a full 5 stars! Well done!

18/11/2025: A cozy, retro place with a wonderful owner. The dishes are seasonal and use fresh ingredients, crafted with care and dedication. This restaurant is a Pisa institution!
