13/05/2026: The relaxed and refined atmosphere, the clean restaurant with a modern design that immediately puts you at ease, are welcoming. The staff is friendly, attentive, and can offer good advice, even for those who aren't experts in Japanese cuisine. The sushi is fresh, well-prepared, and the portions are generous. We tried uramaki, nigiri, and sashimi: excellent-quality fish, perfectly cooked rice, and balanced flavor combinations. Even the hot dishes like ramen and tempura are truly well-made, not the usual pre-packaged fare. The service is fast, even on weekends, and the quality/price ratio is fair. Perfect for a quiet dinner for two or an evening with friends. If you're in Pontedera and craving well-made sushi, Zen is a safe bet.

28/01/2026: My boyfriend and I come here very often. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. There's more choice at dinner, and the prices are more than reasonable.

21/05/2026: The atmosphere is very refined, warm, and welcoming, with little noise and a wide selection of wines, including a private wine cellar, far beyond what you'd expect from a hotel restaurant.

19/05/2026: The service was extremely slow. We asked several times what's the problem, what takes so long and we were told every time that the food is coming in a minute. 40 minutes later arrived wrong dishes. The waiter started to argue that he's right (he didn't take the order) and we are wrong. The the waiter, who took our order, appeared and immediately told we were right and a new dish will be made. What he did not mention was, that it will be made after all the other orders; not right away. Of course. The level of service maintained low at all times. Judging by the looks people were giving to the staff, they did not succeed with them either.

19/06/2026: Terrible customer service. The sandwiches were priced incorrectly. I asked the clerk, who quoted me one price, and then asked for a different one. The cappuccino took forever to arrive; it felt like the person completely forgot what they were supposed to do. Talk to your staff. The man is elderly. June 18, 2026...at 11:45 PM.

10/06/2026: I stopped for a sandwich and a bottle of water. The lady told me it was a half-liter. I went to the drinks section, which is a 4-meter display where there's Aqua, Coke, beer, etc. After giving me the sandwich, she rudely told me that the water wasn't a 0.5 liter but a 0.75 liter. I told her that there wasn't a smaller one. Her response was, "He can't read. Can't you see it's bigger?" The 0.5 liter water is basically on the other side of the store in a fridge. They won't have to change the layout for me, but I don't have to go around the whole store to do a treasure hunt for them either. PS: Anyway, I won't stop there again.

09/03/2026: One of the best pubs in the area for a pleasant evening: the beer and food never disappoint. To celebrate the first anniversary of the new management, we were kindly offered dessert: served by Sara, who is knowledgeable, cheerful, kind, and very friendly.

04/03/2026: Pub near the center of Bientina, easily accessible. A youthful and pleasant atmosphere, excellent food, drinks, and service.

07/06/2026: We were just passing through and went there based on the reviews. I strongly advise everyone against eating or using the restroom there. The food arrived, and I saw the owner take my fries from my plate and eat them. The food was simply awful. I gave it to the cats. The restroom was filthy; there's no women's restroom, and the bar itself is a dirty hole.

25/10/2025: A four-star seaside hotel, an 8-10 minute walk from the beach. It's located in a safe coastal resort town. It has an elevator and bus parking. Each person has a unique Wi-Fi password, so registration is a bit complicated. Hot water is available in the room. A tax of 3% applies. Breakfast is only served at 7:00 AM. It's an hour from the Cinque Terre. Overall, it's a good hotel.

21/10/2025: I highly recommend this hotel. It's the second time we've stayed here with my partner, and we felt right at home. The staff is super friendly, and the rooms are clean and smell great. Excellent sea view. Excellent food and buffet.

29/06/2026: TERRIBLE SERVICE. The food was late. The wrong food arrived twice, and the second courses arrived before the first courses... and they even forgot all the side dishes. Truly TERRIBLE.

22/06/2026: I've been to the restaurant and I have to thank all the staff, especially Violetta 🔝💯 who is always kind and available to please customers. Even though we're in the countryside, she always tries to provide attentive and friendly service. I recommend it, without forgetting that you go to the mountains to relax, so leave the rush at home...

13/07/2026: I've been in Tuscany for 10 years now. I've been to Asuka dozens of times. There used to be much less competition at the all-you-can-eat level. My first review was 4 stars, and that was 8 years ago. The first few times, the conveyor belt was fantastic, the buffet of meat and fish to be grilled live. Very unique. Yesterday we returned after a few months of wandering around other restaurants. A disappointment. Everything was extremely salty. Too salty. You can tell they're forcing it because when it's too much, it's too much. A ruined lunch. They want you to drink, but you're there to eat, and if you order anything other than sushi or fruit or dessert, it's a piece of salt! Terrible! How do you know if you've eaten well? Well, after this lunch, I didn't eat for dinner because I was quite full, but I couldn't have anyway because I was glued to the toilet. The quality of the food was probably very, very low. Lots of salt, but certainly nothing else was good either. A shame. Almost like a tradition ending. Because none of this has been found in the various private restaurants I've been touring in recent months, more or less close to home. I don't think it was a coincidence, because the other companions gave the same feedback. All the hot dishes were ordered. Salt dishes of various shapes. It was perhaps my last time, in years. A real shame.

09/07/2026: Just wow! The quality-price ratio is so much better than French pizzas… we paid €18 for three pizzas and they were delicious. The service was also very friendly; even though we didn't speak the same language, the person made an effort to communicate with us as best they could. I highly recommend it…

23/03/2026: An institution for anyone who's ever frequented Pesenti, a full bar with excellent food, from sandwiches and focaccia to first courses, a clean place and very kind staff. Excellent!

29/04/2026: I've been to many Chinese restaurants in various Italian cities and in China (Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai): this is the only place where I can eat REAL Chinese food. Clean environment and family atmosphere, fast service and very friendly staff. You can order takeout, à la carte, and AYCE. The Japanese menu is also excellent. Highly recommended.

01/12/2025: Do I have to ask for a drink bag at the drive-thru? The girl comes over and hands me the drinks just like in the photo, and then I ask for the bag. She replies, "Didn't I ask the girl?" And she closes my window and drives off.

20/12/2025: Hi, before writing this review I waited until I went a second time... the menu isn't that great, there's no choice, the prices are quite high, and the food... I personally didn't like anything. They don't even open the wine for you at the table, they open it behind you, which isn't good. Management has changed, and it shows. I hope they change something for them.
