04/11/2025: I went there last night with my girlfriend. I found the atmosphere truly welcoming, with extremely friendly staff. I was also pleased to meet the owner, who is down-to-earth and very friendly. The menu offers a wide selection of appetizers, first courses (both seafood and meat), second courses, desserts, wines, and soft drinks on tap. One thing that particularly struck me, as a lover of fried food, was the small plates on the menu, including French fries, stuffed olives, mozzarella sticks, potato croquettes, and chicken nuggets. In short, the menu certainly doesn't disappoint! Another plus: despite the place being quite busy, the preparation time was perfect. Regarding the dishes, we had a pizza bianca with roast potatoes and a calzone. Both were delicious, perfectly cooked, with neither soft nor crunchy dough, and both light. I'll give a thumbs up to the calzone; it wasn't too full, with 7 kg of filling, but it was delicate, and when you get to the last few pieces, you don't feel too full. Last but not least, the profiteroles and berry cheesecake—nothing to say, simply wonderful! Finally, the prices are more than reasonable; for the quality/quantity ratio, it's definitely worth it. I highly recommend it, if you're not local and happen to be there, to try it at least once. Congratulations! ❤️

29/11/2025: Right next to the water. Beautiful views and comes a with pretty useful gym and an amazing daily free and quite large breakfast. Dated TV in the room but besides that great hotel with great staff at a great price.

12/11/2025: Despite some stressful situations, the staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. The food was varied and delicious; they were very attentive to my allergies and intolerances and offered excellent alternative suggestions. The dining room could be made a bit more inviting; it felt a little too bright and bare and had unpleasant acoustics. We were satisfied with the breakfast and its selection: very good coffee, juices, several types of bread and rolls, muesli, various cold cuts, ham and cheeses, egg dishes and sausages, fruit, and sweet treats – everything you could want. Two minor issues in the room were promptly resolved. The rooms are adequately sized; we just wish there had been more storage space and clothes hangers. All in all, a good option for staying close to Pisa, Livorno, and Lucca.

21/02/2026: The staff who greeted us were very rude. We booked a triple room, but they gave us a double room with a camp bed practically attached to the double bed, and it was obvious it wasn't a triple. With that camp bed, we couldn't open the window. Necessary for a bathroom for two people. Breakfast was available for a single group at a fixed time, forcing the entire group to go down at the same time.

20/02/2026: Calling it 4 stars is a stretch. Let's call it a good 3-star. Decent, clean rooms, but: - the double bed is made up of two single mattresses that aren't very firm (they tend to split), which is quite uncomfortable. - tacky bathroom. - breakfast is barely acceptable (it could be improved). Clean, but there's a lot to improve. Location: Not too close to the airport. Good, too close to the city. Unprofessional, unhelpful staff.

05/01/2026: Every year I celebrate my birthday here for 15 euros, eat, drink, dance, or sing. I'd say it's top-notch. The staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

31/12/2025: This small pizzeria located on Ponsacco's main street offers excellent food, including a delicious pizza. Their house specialty is various types of cantuccini (traditional, with chocolate, walnuts, etc.), which are served with Vin Santo. Very fast and efficient service. Whenever I visit a lawyer colleague from Verona, I always stop by. I also recommend it to families for its friendly atmosphere.

30/12/2025: We went for an aperitivo with some friends... we arrived, ordered, and after a good 30 minutes the platters arrived (the place was half empty). We ordered two large platters for €25 each (recommended for two people), which were supposed to include: cured meats, cheeses, crostini, mixed fried foods, finger foods for a first course, finger foods for a second course, fried pasta, olives, a savory tart, and a tartlet. The platter arrived with only cured meats, cheeses, crostini, mixed fried foods, and a tartlet. I stood up and pointed it out to the waitress, who said she'd fix it by sending the missing items. Only the two portions of paltry finger foods arrived. Nothing else. I let it go, and before leaving, I brought it up to the waitress again, and she replied that she was sorry but didn't even know what was on the menu. I was shocked by the highly unqualified staff. At the very least, if you can't bring everything on the menu, let the customer know before they order... I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE!!

16/12/2025: Iced coffee (just single coffee and ice) €3.50 I'll leave you to decide, I'd like to point out that there's no table service, just the coffee... and it's mediocre at that.

12/12/2025: I've been frequenting this restaurant for some time now. Whenever I'm in Pisa, I always return, even today, and there's a reason. The quality of the dishes prepared. The menu varies slightly depending on seasonal produce. Reinventing dishes isn't easy, and the way chef Sandra does it is a skill. Reviews don't give the right impression; you have to try them. In every dish I've tasted so far, there hasn't been a single ingredient out of place or cooked incorrectly. The dishes are simply a feast for the eyes and the palate. And each dish is accompanied by a fresh, warm focaccia each time. Her husband, who takes orders in the dining room, explains in great detail not only the dishes but also how they're made, as well as the wines he offers. To those who say the wait is long, I personally didn't wait more than 10 minutes for a single course with a full dining room. Considering there's only one chef, I'd say it's not bad at all. And the dishes are worth the wait. Regarding the price, I'd say it's absolutely commensurate with the quality. In fact, it's perhaps even lower than it could be. I give it a full 5 stars! Well done!

18/11/2025: A cozy, retro place with a wonderful owner. The dishes are seasonal and use fresh ingredients, crafted with care and dedication. This restaurant is a Pisa institution!

30/12/2025: Had dinner today, December 30, 2025. I definitely think I'll be back because the seafood (appetizer, first course, and second course) was excellent and fresh. The staff were welcoming and kind, and the atmosphere was clean. The homemade desserts were also a plus. Thank you, highly recommended.

24/11/2025: A warm, welcoming, intimate, elegant atmosphere, where everyone often speaks softly out of respect for the other tables, a place where all the dishes are beautifully presented and have excellent flavor, fragrance, tenderness, and authenticity! I love it! The owner and the chef are very kind, never intrusive, attentive to the needs of the table with kindness and devotion to the food, its flavor, and its meaning. I recommend it!!!

31/01/2026: Good and inexpensive. The atmosphere is a bit noisy because Italians love to be seen, shouting is normal for them. Apart from that, the restaurant is excellent.

02/02/2026: Very cute and warm atmosphere. Service was friendly and food really good. We tried their pizza with speck and mascarpone cheese, along with their calzone di Napoli. Yummy! We went fairly early after making a reservation for 2 people, but they have a lot of space even for larger groups. 100% recommend!

26/01/2026: The atmosphere was refined, the food was quite good, but the meat (arugula and parmesan) was a bit tough even though I ordered it rare. The service was a bit slower than usual.

31/08/2025: I've been here several times, always trying different specialties. Their "out of the ordinary" pastries are very appealing, but I've often found them dry, lacking in garnishes or flavor, always leaving me a bit disappointed. They look good in the window, but they're not always the best, especially considering the price. I've also often found the tables dirty and the place generally unkempt, which is a shame, because there's potential.

14/02/2026: Came here during end of august 2022 and got some seafood, just to find it was gone off. I put a review on here previously but with the google moderation update it got taken down. The reply was incredibly rude and unprofessional and this restaurant should not be visited.

08/11/2025: Avoid this restaurant!!! No one will ever come back here a second time. This is a disgusting place with disgusting food, and the owner is a rude bully who, instead of addressing complaints about the food quality, insults his customers. He serves over 500 customers a day, and it seems not a single one has ever returned. Clearly, he’s never tasted what’s served in his own restaurant—otherwise, he’d listen to the overwhelming feedback and improve the food. But he’d rather insult customers and keep serving swill. The pizza we were served was completely tasteless and horribly oversalted.
