03/06/2025: Very convenient place for a quick lunch break.
The menu is rich and varied, with attention to vegetarians and vegans. The prices are fair, the quality good.
The service is really fast and efficient: the boys and girls are brilliant, kind and smiling.

14/02/2026: Came here during end of august 2022 and got some seafood, just to find it was gone off. I put a review on here previously but with the google moderation update it got taken down. The reply was incredibly rude and unprofessional and this restaurant should not be visited.
08/11/2025: Avoid this restaurant!!! No one will ever come back here a second time. This is a disgusting place with disgusting food, and the owner is a rude bully who, instead of addressing complaints about the food quality, insults his customers. He serves over 500 customers a day, and it seems not a single one has ever returned. Clearly, he’s never tasted what’s served in his own restaurant—otherwise, he’d listen to the overwhelming feedback and improve the food. But he’d rather insult customers and keep serving swill. The pizza we were served was completely tasteless and horribly oversalted.

17/03/2026: Succulent and tender meat, delicious appetizer, excellent staff and inebriating courtesy... to repeat on the next trip.
09/03/2026: Lucca Comics season, staying in Pisa for convenience.
The waiter was friendly and professional.
After the appetizer, my pasta dish arrived.
After a couple of bites, I found a hair.
I went in to tell the owner, but she didn't look at the plate, justifying herself by saying that everyone in the kitchen wore hairnets, and didn't apologize for what had happened. We paid and ran away. Never again.

19/12/2025: The best kebab in Pisa...but to say kebab is truly an understatement. The cuisine is a mix of Indian with Muslim influences...the bread baked in the oven on the spot is excellent...the kitchen is open...the atmosphere is not very sophisticated, the tables are spartan, but the freshness of the food makes it worthwhile not to go there for a romantic evening.
14/10/2025: Simply phenomenal, unbeatable prices, and delicious, rich, and filling kebab! A great place for a quick bite without sacrificing flavor.

02/01/2026: Business dinner, I didn't like almost anything. The dining room was old, with dated furnishings. The bathroom needs updating. There's work to be done... on all fronts.
25/12/2025: This year we decided to spend Christmas at a restaurant. Usually, we choose to stay home. At Bacchus, we had a pleasant lunch, with a well-chosen menu, friendly and attentive staff, and excellent value. We were truly satisfied. We will definitely be back.

18/02/2026: Business lunch. Fantastic, €15 with dessert and coffee. €10 for a starter, main course, and side dish, €1 for water. Generous portions and excellent quality. I'll be back for dinner (grilled meats and wood-fired pizzas). It's increasingly rare to find places like this! Excellent.

The food was delicious, the house wine was incredible, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the waiters Stefan and Alessandro were very attentive and sweet ❤️🇮🇹

31/08/2025: I've been here several times, always trying different specialties. Their "out of the ordinary" pastries are very appealing, but I've often found them dry, lacking in garnishes or flavor, always leaving me a bit disappointed. They look good in the window, but they're not always the best, especially considering the price. I've also often found the tables dirty and the place generally unkempt, which is a shame, because there's potential.

06/01/2026: I ordered a two piece Catfish fillet with four piece chicken combo with fries and coleslaw. The chicken and fish was old and I only had one piece of fish in the combo. It seems like the fish and chicken probably was sitting up for a while and they just gave me fresh fries and coleslaw. this was my first experience with the catfish lounge. I heard good things, but this wasn’t a good experience for $28.

22/12/2025: Excellent for stopping/resting for a night with your camper after or during a long trip, as I've done several times.
It's a quiet service station where no unsavory characters hang around, and there are always peaceful truck drivers parked there, as well as frequent traffic police.
