Key word: BE PATIENT! I've been to this restaurant several times and have always had a good experience despite the wait. The portions are generous and the menus are reasonably priced. But something has been off for a while now. I went a few nights ago and the pasta arrived with very little sauce, and the fried food was a bit too greasy. I DO NOT recommend coming on Saturdays or Sundays because the waits are incredibly long! We waited an hour and a half for four first courses! (They told us they were having kitchen problems, but they told us the same thing another time.) I'll give this place another chance during the week. If it goes badly this time too, I don't know if I'll ever return. I'll leave you with the photos...

I'll start by saying that I did my military service in the Carso region in 1997, so I'm comfortable with the food, but dinner at this place left me quite perplexed.
The seafood spaghetti was anemic, with no raw seafood or clams.
The fried food was too greasy, even though it was well-stocked.
The dessert was well-made.
The white wine jug was stained red in several places.
The kitchen was exposed to people and flying insects.
The floor was covered in ceramics of an unknown vintage.
The refrigerators were damaged.
It's a shame because the service was quick and friendly, the portions were above average, and the prices were reasonable.

There were four of us, and we got a table right away. Although the building didn't make the best first impression, we quickly forgot about that. The friendly staff immediately treated us to chilled sparkling wine and soon served us fritto misto, fish, and spaghetti.
We've rarely eaten so well and so much. Superb, highly recommended!!!

🇬🇧 Guys, what can I say? A truly authentic place, excellent food, all seafood, reasonable prices, absolutely recommended!!! Very kind waiters, spaghetti alla pescatora is a dream, the fried fish is amazing. A true local, Tuscan place, absolutely recommended. Too bad we were just passing through! 🇬🇧 Compliments to the chefs!!!
