22/12/2025: Just returned from a dinner for 19 people, a disappointment. The place is praised for its charming Christmas atmosphere, which I must say is as palpable as in other places, but the strong point was the food. We had chosen a fixed menu with an appetizer and two first courses. STARTER: crostini with tomato, with liver, three slices of salami, two of prosciutto, one of capocollo, and two shavings of cheese. FIRST COURSE: 4 forkfuls of saffron rice with a zucchini ring as a decoration and a strip of Apulian burrata. The other course was 5 paccheri with Cinta Senese, water, wine, and coffee for the modest sum of 30 euros each! Result: we all woke up hungry. A real disappointment. NEVER AGAIN, especially since we had paid to eat, not to see the place! Not recommended, and now I understand why the place was half empty.

02/02/2026: This legendary pizzeria has been going there since I was a kid. Great place and delicious pizza made with 7-grain flour. Spectacular.

26/12/2025: Excellent experience, friendly staff. Big flaw: there's no parking. The one further away forces you to walk along the main road (narrow and unsafe at night, with no pedestrian space). Average price. The interior is cozy, almost like a cabin.

16/02/2026: A refined restaurant in Pisa's historic center. The assortment of mixed appetizers is delicious and worth the trip. The moussaka is excellent, as are the desserts. The retzina is for those with strong palates, but it pairs really well with the dishes. Friendly and attentive service. I'll be back.

10/03/2026: We ended up eating here by chance, and what a treat! A hidden gem! Their seafood pasta was out of this world, absolutely delicious. And a very generous portion. Homemade and plentiful food. The manager was very helpful with recommendations and treated us very well despite us arriving close to closing time. Greetings from the Spanish cyclists.

24/09/2025: What can I say... Bathroom Azzurro is one of the most enjoyable establishments in Marina! Perfect for children, but also enjoyable for adults. There's a family atmosphere, thanks in part to the staff. The managers are always present and ready to lend a hand. I have to erect a statue of Silvia, who, despite my constant "I need to ask you something," resisted all summer. I also have to thank Paolo for the help he gave us when my girls had a little mishap with a jellyfish. I also want to say that the beach is always clean and tidy, which is essential for me. I recommend it 100%.

02/03/2026: The place is beautiful, comfortable, and well-furnished. The very presence of a garden where you can have breakfast or brunch is a real treat. The price is a bit high, but understandable and acceptable given the area. There are many options, something for all tastes, both sweet and savory, not to mention drinks. The only flaw is that some of the waiters seem poorly trained, and if asked to serve something that isn't included, such as a simple estathe in our case, they tend to acquiesce and then serve something else. However, it's fair to admit that this unfortunate incident is certainly not due to an attempt by the waiters to rip off the customer, but rather to their genuine difficulties, also due to the language barrier.

11/11/2025: Honestly, good, great. This small but excellent restaurant in Casciana Terme offers much more than you'd expect at first glance. Local ambiance, friendly service, and very, very good food. Anyone who thinks meat dishes in Italy are limited to saltimbocca will be pleasantly surprised here. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent, and the food was divine. Il Merlo is a real hidden gem. We'll definitely be back.

25/11/2025: A family-run, very well-maintained restaurant. The food is spectacular; I've celebrated two graduations here, and both times my expectations were fully met. We had mixed antipasti, with Tuscan crostini, cold cuts and cheeses, mini sandwiches, and two first courses (a farfalle pasta with speck and walnuts, and a pumpkin risotto). They also prepared some small pastries for us!

19/11/2025: A unique venue, pampered by the owners' attentive service, offering innovative local dishes, tasty and freshly prepared, and excellent value. This venue is suitable for couples' lunches, but not for groups, as, in my opinion, the atmosphere is particularly suited to quiet conversations and a fairly intimate atmosphere.

The pizza was delicious and easy to digest, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The place is very friendly and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. I'll definitely be back.

01/10/2025: While staying at the Grand Continental Hotel we had one nice evening without rain and came here to enjoy cocktails before moving on to dinner elsewhere. The views here are great, as we sat in a window overlooking the sea. They have a very nice, inexpensive cocktail menu as well as food offerings. After we sat and when we placed our order the server brought us a nice assortment of chips, olives, and cookies. Everything was great, including the service. Definitely would suggest giving them a try!
