Fantastic pizza (easily top3 in the last 10 years), great service and an outside seating area with shade and NO mosquitoes! You’ll find me here most days now. Wow.

Delicious pizza with great crust and toppings! Place is pretty good, with tables both inside and outside.

I've been wanting to try this pizzeria in the center of Lucca for a couple of years. I have to admit, it was worth the wait. The dough is super digestible and well-cooked. The ingredients are top-quality. The dessert (tiramisu) was also a hit. Sure, it's not cheap, but for what you get, every penny is well spent. My special thanks go to the staff, especially Chiara, a very kind waitress who's always ready to listen and advise every customer with a smile. We'll be back.

Sensational pizza, the likes of which we've never had before. Mortadella with pistachios and burrata... AMAZING... Organic white wine from the region... it doesn't get any better than this.

We had a very enjoyable meal at Sud. The welcome and service were first class. As well as a more traditional pizza, we tried a steamed pizza, which was so delicious that we cleaned both plates, even though the two pizzas were more food than we'd normally eat. (The pizzas are large!) A great selection of local/regional wines to choose from too. Well done Sud and thank you.

First time in Lucca, and they recommended this pizzeria to us, off the main streets of the center but near Piazza San Frediano. They recommended the sciue sciue and the costiera arancini with lemon: truly innovative. Thanks to all the staff. We'll be back for a lesson.

Definitely a nice place, friendly staff but not great food! We tried their antipasti, and then their pizza mortadella, regina, and then something with olives. They were good, but the pizza dough was not Napoletano. Clearly their oven is not wooden as well. Also, their prices appeared high… overall, great service!
