Good food, beautiful view. In summer, I recommend dining on the terrace. Reservations are recommended.

Good food, friendly staff, average prices. The only flaw is that if you eat in the outdoor loggia the sun shines on you until sunset.

There were six of us eating there, including two vegetarians, and we ordered six fantastic set menus. The meal consisted of four very tasty and varied courses. The pasta was truly delicious, and the meat was tender and flavorful, even though I've often had less positive experiences with meat in Italy. There was a mix-up with the set menus, but the staff, who unfortunately weren't very talkative, quickly rectified it. The best thing about the Osteria, however, is the ambiance. It's located on a hillside, and under beautiful umbrellas and trees adorned with fairy lights, you have a breathtaking view of the valley and Lucca. In the evenings, you can also watch the sunset behind a mountain. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended, especially for its excellent value for money. We paid about €30 per person. Making a reservation a few days in advance is essential, as the Osteria is quite popular.

My colleagues took me there for dinner, and I have to say we had a wonderful meal!!! Delicious tordelli, a hilltop location with a view of the Piana, and friendly and helpful staff. For those who have never been there or don't know about it, I highly recommend stopping by, as it's hard to find a place with such a good quality/price ratio. The only downside is the lack of parking. I'll definitely go back again and again... and again 🤤

It's really nice in the summer. You can eat outside and enjoy a beautiful view and the fresh air! I'm not a big fan of set menus (that's just how you eat), but the food was good and the portions were generous. Excellent value!

What this place is: Dinner in the style of a large family. Communal appetizers, pasta course, meat course and dessert with house white and red wine - all wrapped up on the side of a hill overlooking the valley. What this place is not: Order off the menu restaurant. If you are good with showing up and eating whatever they want to cook, you are in for a treat. With that being said, we did have an allergy in our group and several kids and they were great with that all. I cannot recommend this enough for the eater that is happy to try and experience something special.
