Lovely restaurant. Unfortunately, all the other guests had left by 9:15 pm. We had to drink our wine quickly since we were already the only ones there. Conclusion: outside of peak season, it's better to have an early dinner.

We stumbled upon this place by chance while vacationing in Lucca and loved it so much we returned the next evening for the Florentine steak. The meat was exceptional, the pasta dishes were excellent, and everything was topped off with friendly, attentive service. Highly recommended!

06/04/2026: After a sumptuous Easter lunch, we were wandering around Lucca, and out of eight people, three were a little hungry. We chose this place precisely because some of us could eat and the others could have a drink. Despite the crowd, they seated us after just a few minutes on a lovely mezzanine inside, giving us privacy and tranquility! We ended up ordering seven panini and a crostone because, perusing the menu, everyone found ingredients that would whet a hunger we didn't know we had. The fragrance of the bread on the outside and its softness on the inside had everyone agreeing that it was truly delicious and warm, with generously filled paninis, yet well-balanced in flavor. An honorable mention goes to finding a simple, yet not banal, vegan sandwich. The staff was professional, courteous, and attentive, but never intrusive. The place was welcoming and well-kept. Thank you for giving us a truly pleasant experience!
