The young and willing waiter was used in the response as a shield to justify the unjustifiable. Those who read this review will be able to get a clear idea not only of the quality of the pizza, but also of how a customer who dares to tell the truth is treated. … We enter this pizzeria around 6:30 pm, empty place (rightly so), standard furnishings, nothing that stands out. We sit down and the waiter already drops the napkins on the floor... up to that point it can happen. What should never happen, however, is picking them up from the floor and putting them directly back in the napkin holder. First sign that something is wrong. We order two pizzas: one with tuna and onions and one with four seasons. After a long wait, only the first one arrives. Unfortunately, however, it is not even definable as pizza: raw dough in the center, mozzarella and tomato that seem to have been put on cold, raw onions floating in oil, edges burnt on one side and covered in raw flour on the other. I politely point this out to the waiter, who suggests "passing it under a little". No, pizza is not served like this, period. Another customer also approaches and confirms: "Ours is raw too". At that point we decide to leave, intending to pay only for the water, since the food was inedible. And here is the last straw: the pizza chef, instead of apologizing, raises his voice and tells us that he does not accept criticism, denying the evidence of the raw pizza and demanding payment.. I did not make a fuss: I left the money, but only to end that charade in the most civil way possible. Because when you do not accept criticism, serve inedible stuff and respond with arrogance, you have only to be ashamed. This is not catering, it's making fun of customers

03/06/2025: Today 3rd June I ate for the first time in this restaurant, and I can leave a positive review, excellent quality, helpful and kind girls, an all you can eat lunch, everything good, exceptional salmon, I will return

07/05/2025: I was staying in this neighborhood and was absolutely hungry. All the Italian places were not open, or kitchens were yet to open, I couldn't wait that much and had to find anything that was open and in walking distance. I found this place and truth be told I had zero expectations, didn't read any reviews or anything before, just went in and ordered a bunch of stuff. Everything turned out to be very tasty, I especially enjoyed the gyoza. I do recommend this place if you are looking for an Asian restaurant in Lucca.

15/06/2025: Ottima cena a base di frittura mista di pesce e verdure cucinata perfettamente. Il servizio è eccellente fin dall’accoglienza cosi come la cortesia e la gentilezza. Il locale ha il vantaggio di essere raffinato e posizionato in una zona tranquilla. Consigliato!

01/06/2025: Tagliolino cacio e pepe con tartare di gamberi veramente spettacolare, anche i ravioli di pesce con zafferano e nero di seppia molto buoni. Frittura di pesce nella norma. Nota negativa: mancavano molte pietanze sia tra il salato che il dolce e anche nella lista vini. Cameriere gentile e simpatico. Conto adeguato

25/06/2025: The food is good and reasonably priced. However, we only ordered classic pizza; I think you can get good food anywhere in Italy. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The outdoor terrace was cozy and nicely decorated. Overall, a satisfactory visit.

01/06/2025: We were a group of 5 friends on vacation, we were fascinated by the location and the kindness of the staff. The homemade focaccia was delicious as were the rest of the dishes. Highly recommended!

03/05/2025: At first glance you can't find the place, once you find it, you understand that appearances are deceiving. It's lovely inside. The food is simple but for this reason it certainly doesn't lose anything, on the contrary. The desserts didn't impress me and for this reason I don't give five stars. Prices a little high.

18/05/2025: I came to eat at this beautiful restaurant two nights with my father. We had a really great time, the waiters are all very good, especially Elisa, she is really smart, very kind and very sweet. Excellent and complete menu. Very good fish. I really recommend it.

Neatly à la carte and they put basic hall you can eat and each order was counted... problem solved, skimpy and not really cooked properly courses... let's say that with the family, we put a nice red X on it. Sorry. Not up to the same level as the namesakes scattered around Italy

20/04/2025: We went one evening in April based on the reviews. I thought it was an excellent restaurant but I think unfortunately a lot of people don't know how to eat. We enter and I already understand that it will be like a nightmare kitchen. Meanwhile, no one greets us. He makes us sit at a table with a dilapidated menu from the 80s, untidy waitresses who are not very attentive and not even with a smile. We take a sautéed lobster dish. Inedible spaghetti not cooked well with no flavour, no taste at all, total disappointment plus I think the lobster was frozen. I pay and I leave with the bitterness that I will never come back, and even when we are about to leave not even a greeting And as the good cavanacciulo says ADDIOS

15/06/2025: Last time I left 3 stars but I have to redo the review. The restaurant is of dubious quality, spaghetti with clams with the addition of "star stock cube", very salty. Cesar salad arrived without chicken, raw shelled and poorly cleaned shrimp. I'm really sorry because Bagno Santa Maria deserves better cuisine and service.

22/05/2025: Sunday 18th May we came here on a local recommendation, exceptional, absolutely worth trying Bavette con arselle....amazing. We will definitely be back, highly recommended.

14/07/2025: I've been ordering all the time now. Always very kind and helpful on the phone. Deliveries are almost always on time. Fantastic pizzas; I've tried many of them. The best in Viareggio. (Probably my favorite in winter.) The specialty pizzas are also very popular (Halloween, Christmas, etc.).
