We also go often for lunch, and I have to say the food is really good, the portions are decent, and it's really cheap. The staff is attentive and friendly. 25/04/2026: I went to eat with my family. The food was very good, and the bar staff were very kind. The waitresses were terrible; they weren't familiar with the menu. After I ordered, I waited 10 minutes, and then they came to say that x was out of stock, without even apologizing for the inconvenience. They weren't present in the dining room, and they weren't paying attention. I had to go to the bar to ask for two slices of lemon.

02/05/2026: Terrible experience. An hour's wait, despite the restaurant being half empty, just to prepare five pizzas. The staff was rude and unhelpful. I don't recommend it: save yourself time and nerves.

31/05/2026: It was May 17th, and after a lovely walk, we arrived at Cerù. Forty or fifty years ago, if I remember correctly, it was owned by the same company as the eponymous cured meat factory. It was a restaurant and offered rooms for rent. The current management doesn't rent rooms, and the actual restaurant is closed, but they serve cold dishes and also high-quality frozen products from a renowned Camaiore brand that are heated in the microwave... others do, but don't mention it. The bar has a large panoramic terrace and is an almost obligatory stop for hikers and mountain bikers. I remember we had a selection of hot and cold appetizers, and to follow, I had an excellent eggplant parmigiana... yes, sure, frozen and heated in the microwave, but truly excellent. The service wasn't restaurant-like, but it was friendly, not formal, just right for a bar that also offers food. I wouldn't call the price "cheap," but for the quality, quantity, and location, I'd say it was just right. I don't give it five stars on principle: the perfect place probably doesn't exist.

In my opinion, I would change the name from Ristorante to Trattoria, and this is meant as a compliment to convey the homely atmosphere, the good food, and the simplicity of the place. 17/07/2026: ⭐ 1/5 - A masterclass in poor customer service. Visually? A charming, picture-perfect little Italian bistro. Practically? A total disaster. We came for a nice final meal to cap off our holiday; we left with a masterclass in how not to handle customer service. When we politely pointed out that one meal was undercooked and the other was an oil-slick of zero flavor, the staff skipped right past "sorry" and went straight to "aggressive defense mode." We were informed that "everyone else likes it," which apparently meant our tastebuds were the problem. To wrap up this bizarre experience, they aggressively cleared our table and demanded full price for food they’d already cleared. If you want great aesthetics paired with a side of hostility and a bloated bill, this is your spot. Otherwise, run.

17/07/2026: Before going to the Lucca open air cinema me and my friend A stopped here for dinner. I had a cheese board and a Limoncello Spritz. On one side, the Limoncello Spritz was really really good, my favourite so far, but on the other hand the cheese board was quite average, I would say not really worth the price I paid for it.

29/06/2026: Excellent piadinas, friendly service, cleanliness, and order. Everything was perfect.

27/06/2026: Half-empty piadinas, taken away, the dough melting in my finger. Usually the filling is spread evenly so that every bite is flavorful, but this time, not at all. We arrived 20 minutes before closing time, so I understand the tiredness, but it's still a product we paid for.

02/07/2026: We were just passing through and the place is clean, the service is good, and the air conditioning temperature was very nice considering the heat on the road.

10/06/2026: I ordered from the app and waited for delivery in the parking lot, but after 15 minutes, still nothing (let me start by saying it was the last day of school and it was crazy inside!!!), so I went in and spoke to the mortified store manager, who prepared my order in just a few minutes. Her kindness and helpfulness were exceptional!

04/05/2026: The food was good, but very expensive. A seafood salad, 25% of which was oil, was overpriced. What a shame.
