05/02/2026: Everything was perfect. Excellent, beautifully plated dishes. The gluten-free options were spectacular. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

24/11/2025: Dishes are the result of a selection of authentic ingredients and interesting flavor combinations, but the gluten-free options deserve an honorable mention. In fact, the entire menu can be made gluten-free, and the restaurant offers fresh gluten-free pasta (from pici to tordelli, etc.)! The atmosphere is charming and well-kept. The staff, with their attentive and courteous service, truly make this place stand out.

The owner is a master pizza chef who mesmerizes as he prepares pizzas in front of you, and the kitchen produces hearty dishes rich in Neapolitan tradition. The family-run atmosphere is evident and felt in the friendly atmosphere. We think they deserve every star available. Highly recommended!!!

18/01/2026: Spectacular butcher/grill I had their melt-in-the-mouth mixed cured meat platter and a delicious Tomahawk steak. The wine list is also excellent. The waitresses are attentive and precise!! The prices are a bit high, but the quality justifies them.

We also go often for lunch, and I have to say the food is really good, the portions are decent, and it's really cheap. The staff is attentive and friendly. I think it's excellent, and I always enjoy going there. Keep up the good work!

08/03/2026: Our experience was unfortunately disappointing, not so much for what we ate, but for the attitude shown toward the guests. We ordered two main courses, two side dishes, and a half bottle of wine (0.375 l), and when we asked for the bill, we clearly heard the owner comment: *"They've already asked for the bill, they haven't eaten a thing... here's €60."* Beyond the amount, which certainly isn't an issue, we believe that respect for guests is the minimum foundation of hospitality. A comment like that, especially one audible to the guests themselves, is simply unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism. We also speak as hospitality professionals: we run a company that specializes in luxury short-term rentals, and we know full well how attention, respect, and style in treating guests are fundamental elements of the experience. Precisely for this reason, hearing a comment like that is truly perplexing. 27/08/2025: First of all, I have to say that gourmet pizzerias need to stay quiet. Lory's pizza is without a doubt the best in Viareggio. The owners are friendly, down-to-earth, and welcoming, and the place has a slightly 1980s feel. Never change, you'll be great.

04/04/2026: We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel for a week at the end of March and had a wonderful time. Admittedly, the hotel is a bit off the beaten track when it comes to popular tourist destinations like Pisa and Florence. However, it's situated in a quiet and beautiful location on a hilltop with stunning views across northern Tuscany. The tourist hotspots are easily accessible by car, making it a great base for exploring the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating at all times. I'd especially like to commend Giada and Claudio, who went above and beyond to attend to our needs throughout our stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious. The breakfast buffet is served daily from 7:00 to 11:00 and offers everything you could want; only additional egg dishes are available for an extra charge. The hotel features a gym, a swimming pool, a sauna, and a steam room. All of these facilities were clean and spacious. In the summer, there's also an outdoor pool. There was more than enough free parking available nearby, and additional parking is available at the hotel for a fee. Two charging stations and an emergency charging point are also available in the parking area. The hotel is very spacious, both inside and out. If you're able to walk a lot, this isn't a problem, but people with limited mobility should be aware of this. At the end of March, the hotel wasn't really full, which we really appreciated. It can certainly get busier during peak season. For background information and to better understand this review – I stay in approximately 80 hotels worldwide each year. My Marriott Titanium Elite status was valued and appreciated at the Renaissance Hotel.

03/04/2026: The seemingly low price reflects the poor quality/enjoyment of the food. The pizza looked great, but the taste was only average. The tiramisu looked just like the photo; it had no flavor and no texture (I've never had such a bland tiramisu, even in Germany). What a shame.

04/01/2026: Lovely restaurant just steps from the seafront. The staff was truly courteous and friendly, and we had an excellent seafood lunch. We started with the crispy, non-greasy fried calamari and shrimp, while the seafood salad was fresh and delicious. The first courses are equally delicious; I recommend both the seafood spaghetti and the shrimp gnocchi. Excellent value for money and generous portions; we'll definitely be back.

25/12/2025: The Hotel Ristorante Il Grappolo d'Oro is a welcoming establishment that combines hospitality and fine dining. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and simply furnished, perfect for a relaxing stay. The restaurant, however, is the real highlight: well-prepared traditional dishes, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The local specialties are a must-try, accompanied by a good selection of wines. The staff is courteous and helpful, always ready to accommodate guests' needs. Excellent value. Recommended!
