17/10/2025: Good morning. My wife and I went to lunch, driven by curiosity to try a restaurant visited by Alessandro Borghese. It was a disappointing experience! We had a vegetable flan for two. A plate of Tordelli Lucchesi, also for two. A portion of Rabbit in Vermentino each. 1/2 liter of house red wine, two coffees, and a small glass of grappa. Total cost: €100 Aside from the total cost, which seems excessive for what we ate, the quality of the dishes (except for the passable rabbit) was also poor. The sauce for the Tordelli Lucchese was watery and salty. The flan was edible, but the price was €13. For a portion. Rudeness on the part of one of the waitresses, who, when asked for details about a dessert, responded rudely and annoyed, causing us to forgo dessert. I would not go back and would not recommend it.

02/10/2025: Very pleased we tracked down this great little restaurant. Found it first by a search then followed the narrow hallway into a great patio. Service was great. Good variety of food and nice quiet and peaceful place .

24/08/2025: Excellent pizzeria...the dough is delicious for those with gluten intolerances. The cecina, in various versions, is definitely worth trying.

21/08/2025: This is where they serve thicker pan pizzas (also gluten-free). We had the Pizza Gran Varignano and Burrata Pesto e Basilico. It turned out to be a good choice. The Cecina is a recommended appetizer. It's a kind of pizza slice with a French toast and pancake flavor.

01/11/2025: Attentive, precise, and smiling staff. They helped make MOM happy. The portions were just right, the dishes were exquisite and unusual. Well done everyone. 2nd review in two weeks. All new appetizers, truly excellent desserts, and the staff were always attentive and friendly. Since they change the menu often, we'll definitely be back.

29/10/2025: Delicious food at a restaurant near the beach. We went there twice. Delicious octopus. Ample parking.

19/09/2025: We went to the restaurant as a group of five. A friend found the place, and we were drawn in by the fact that they serve steaks. We ordered several dishes: octopus soup, two pastas, fried fish, and two steaks. Most of the dishes were fine, although two people finished their meals before the other three even received theirs. The steaks were both ordered at the same time, with the same doneness – medium. First one came out fine in terms of doneness, but the other was almost raw. After trying a piece from the properly cooked steak, it was so disgusting that I literally had to spit it out. We told the staff directly that the steaks were inedible and honestly the worst we’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the waitress tried a piece herself (including the almost raw one) and said it was “delicious.” After that, the service noticeably declined – she came to the table less often, didn’t clean up as attentively, and the smile was gone. After reading other reviews, it seems we are not alone – while one waiter was visibly concerned with what was wrong with our steaks and proposed to prepare new dishes for us, generally trying to help, that particular waitress did not handle criticism well and got offended. They deducted one steak from the bill, but we still had to pay for the other one. Some dishes were fine and tasty, but when it comes to steaks, I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant.

07/09/2025: Last night, my husband, our daughter, and I went to this restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service was quick. We found the place and the staff to be excellent. My only regret was that the atmosphere was a bit unfriendly due to some rude customers. But the owners know their job well, and the food is delicious! Highly recommended for dinner! 😘

20/10/2025: The atmosphere is nice, though a bit dirty and dusty, including the used glasses taken from the cupboard. The welcome needs reconsidering; the reservation was lost. We were given a menu with many courses, but only two of each dish because on a Saturday night they had sold out of almost every course. On a busy Saturday night, perhaps finishing the courses and desserts isn't acceptable. The food isn't excellent: the portions are small and not very tasty or flavorful. Two courses, water, and wine are $55 per person. Prices may need to be reviewed in light of all this.

11/10/2025: We had lunch here and had an incredible experience. We arrived a little prior to opening time but they were gracious and went ahead and seated us. Owner was nice and came over and explained the menu to us. We were seated on the back patio which was lovely. Food was delicious and our overall experience was absolutely perfect. Best meal and ambiance so far of our time in Lucca.

02/11/2025: Made a stop on our way to Florence. Absolutely lovely pastries, cookies, paninis and coffee. Prices are so reasonable.

18/05/2025: Delicious cocktails, there is a long menu with cocktails and different alcohols. Very nice service, we also got different snacks. I regret that I did not have more time to stay there longer.

25/09/2025: Waited 1 hour for our starter, when we asked where our food was.. they came with an totally different dish, no sorry or anything. The service is really bad and the food looks not appealing. We left without getting our food.

31/07/2025: We choose this vineyard because not many does sparkling and we wanted to go to one that does it. It turns out to be amazing. We really enjoyed the tasting and the selection. Staff were friendly and experience. We even got more bottles than we planned. Would highly recommend this place.

13/07/2025: I was a guest at a wedding dinner. The venue was simple but well-kept, with a beautiful garden and pool outside. Parking was easy, the food was clean, and the service was friendly. I ate really well, with prompt and adequate service. I can't comment on the price because I was a guest.

01/07/2025: As a pilgrim on the Via Francigena, I spent two unforgettable days here. An incredible welcome. Because of the heat, I left Massa very early and arrived around 9 a.m. I was able to have breakfast instead of the one I didn't have on the day of departure. Afterwards, I was able to enjoy my room with a breathtaking view and the magnificent pool for two days. The breakfast buffet and the meals are excellent, and Madame takes great care of her guests. I can only recommend this place where the customer is still king.
