05/02/2026: Everything was perfect. Excellent, beautifully plated dishes. The gluten-free options were spectacular. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

24/11/2025: Dishes are the result of a selection of authentic ingredients and interesting flavor combinations, but the gluten-free options deserve an honorable mention. In fact, the entire menu can be made gluten-free, and the restaurant offers fresh gluten-free pasta (from pici to tordelli, etc.)! The atmosphere is charming and well-kept. The staff, with their attentive and courteous service, truly make this place stand out.

05/05/2026: They were very kind; we called an hour before lunch and asked for a table for 11 people. They seated us outside, sheltered from the wind and sun (it was a hot day). The food was good, and the prices were average considering the beach area. The staff was friendly and helpful. We just had a hard time finding the table because there's no sign at the entrance with the restaurant's name, but rather a sign for Lido Flora. There's plenty of parking nearby.

08/03/2026: Our experience was unfortunately disappointing, not so much for what we ate, but for the attitude shown toward the guests. We ordered two main courses, two side dishes, and a half bottle of wine (0.375 l), and when we asked for the bill, we clearly heard the owner comment: *"They've already asked for the bill, they haven't eaten a thing... here's €60."* Beyond the amount, which certainly isn't an issue, we believe that respect for guests is the minimum foundation of hospitality. A comment like that, especially one audible to the guests themselves, is simply unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism. We also speak as hospitality professionals: we run a company that specializes in luxury short-term rentals, and we know full well how attention, respect, and style in treating guests are fundamental elements of the experience. Precisely for this reason, hearing a comment like that is truly perplexing. 30/05/2026: The pizza is good, but this is our third time here, and it takes an hour to deliver. If you can't keep up with the number of covers, cut back; it's getting awfully unpleasant now. Plus, you can't hear anything in the place; it's too crowded.

05/04/2026: Terrible place! I've been coming to Forte dei Marmi all my life and live near this bar. It's terrible for quality, price, and service. The owner is a notoriously rude person. A typical place whose only advantage is its location.

07/04/2026: You're catapulted into an environment that's a mix between a ship and the Mad Hatter's house: inside the Viareggio pine forest, on Easter Monday we found a place in this restaurant that certainly doesn't go unnoticed for its colors, furnishings, and ambiance. We were welcomed by Mr. Amelio, an old-fashioned owner, who told us about his unique and exceptional cuisine. He uses only the catch of the day, and that makes all the difference. Excellent quality, and the owner is a joy to listen to. There are few places like this these days. We'll be back!!!!

18/03/2026: Every time we're in Viareggio, lunch at Buon Umore is a must. It's always a pleasure to encounter the extreme kindness of Amelio and his staff, combined with a never-ending professionalism. Here, the care for the raw materials is almost a mission: you eat authentic, local fish, cooked with a rare respect for the true flavor of the sea. It's certainly not a cheap place, but the excellent quality of the products and the originality of the dishes more than justify the expense. If you're looking for substance and the passion of those who truly know the sea, this is the place. A guarantee of authenticity that makes us return every time with a smile.

31/10/2025: Our time in Bagni di Lucca is slowly winding down… so tonight, instead of cooking, we treated ourselves to one of our favorite local spots — and wow, did they deliver! 😍 From the amuse bouche of Pappa al Pomodoro (the coziest Tuscan tomato-bread soup) to tagliolini with white truffle, a crispy Milanese cutlet with patate fritte, a chilled vino bianco frizzante, and finally… tiramisu + flambé crème brûlée 🔥 — every bite was pure perfection. 31/05/2026: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED We waited over two hours for a pizza that never arrived. The owner, instead of apologizing, then made us pay for drinks. Unprofessional and rude. Don't go there and give your money to someone who deserves it more and knows how to treat the public.

31/05/2026: Evening ruined by the terrible service, there were 6 of us and only 3 of us ate. We waited 90 minutes for 3 Arabic breads that never arrived and instead of an apology we were told by the owner that those who left could not return. Strange evenings happen to everyone.
