Local Food Market In Lucca

Before going to the Lucca open air cinema me and my friend A stopped here for dinner. I had a cheese board and a Limoncello Spritz. On one side, the Limoncello Spritz was really really good, my favourite so far, but on the other hand the cheese board was quite average, I would say not really worth the price I paid for it.

I like to visit the taverns that I see on 4 restaurants this is one of them I have to say that we had a great time fast service excellent food and coming from Piedmont we like to taste local dishes we ate very well the owner very nice and the staff very professional

La Corte dei Limoni is located by entering a long atrium overlooking a courtyard where the space-time curvature of Lucca's walls transports you to another dimension. Here we sample a bruschetta with crispy speck and a competition-quality caramelized onion. Then we sample two dishes: cod with chickpeas and rabbit in Vermentino. Both were beautifully cooked, especially the rabbit, which leaves only the shiny bones on the plate. The house wine (good), lemon cheesecake (worth a second look), and a round grappa. All in all, €80. The price may be a bit steep, as is generally the case in Lucca, but the medieval location, the quality cuisine, and the owner's friendliness left a sweet aftertaste in our memory (perhaps also thanks to the complimentary limoncello at the end).

A quiet, cool lunch in the June heat. We were immediately drawn to the dim light of the entrance, enlivened by the lemon trees everywhere. The service was discreet and quick. The tortelli lucchesi were truly excellent.

Good pizzas, but beware of the red wine, which is served at room temperature—30°C today!!! 🔥 Don't even think about chilling it in a bucket of cold water!

Beautiful trattoria Everything was delicious! Nicola and the friendly staff They also have pizza, but I preferred the good pasta with guanciale.

We spontaneously decided to have dinner here with eight people (without a reservation!). We received a warm welcome and were immediately given a lovely table in the courtyard (including high chairs for children). The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff was very attentive. The prices were also very reasonable! Even the restrooms were spotless (which isn't always the case). We'll definitely be back!

We had lunch in a welcoming atmosphere, with exquisite appetizers and first courses. We'll definitely be back. We recommend it.

We entered this place without reading the (bad) reviews, drawn by the lovely internal garden. What can I say? The wild boar pappardelle were the best I've ever tasted, and the tordelli were also incredible. People's cruelty reaches its lowest ebb when they have to criticize someone just for going to four restaurants.
