10/11/2025: Eight friends. We found this recommendation in an old Lonely Planet guide. We reached the trattoria, which is located in a remote area in the municipality of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. We arrived on a Saturday in November and discovered we were the only customers. We entered a little wary, but quickly changed our minds. The atmosphere is exquisite, and the dining experience is excellent. The appetizers are flawless (salted tongue with giardiniera, a platter of crostini and cured meats, hand-sliced ​​Bazzone prosciutto). Among the first courses, we couldn't forget the perfect tagliolini with truffles and the homemade tortelli with ragù. The braised cheek also deserves pride of place. What more can we say? A must-try for anyone visiting Garfagnana.

02/12/2025: As always, the products were quick, and even though it was very late, they fed me and were, as always, kind and courteous. My favorite 😍 Update from new management: very slow, dishes forgotten and not delivered, staff too busy doing nothing but watching the dining room. I walked in at 12:30 with 10 people in the dining room, and I'm still waiting for my order to be completed, and it's 2:00 PM. From today, the story is over, or at least until the new management.

21/07/2025: Punto di forza il locale molto carino, soprattutto all'esterno. Piatti mediocri, a quel prezzo a Pietrasanta trovi molto meglio ma la pecca è il servizio. Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo chiesto noi dove sederci avendo prenotato e dopo 30 minuti non era ancora venuto nessuno a chiedere il bere. Piatti sul menu finiti, abbiamo tolto noi i piatti dell'antipasto perchè era già arrivato il secondo e come finale in cassa ti chiede la mancia...

However, last Saturday lunch (November 29) was really cold, requiring many customers to wear jackets. I understand that the attendance was low (about ten tables), but it was uncomfortable to eat there.

We stumbled upon this beach club in Camaiore and participated in a tasting of their Metodo Classico. ​The sommelier, Paola, was the heart of the event: highly knowledgeable, friendly, and kind, she expertly guided us. The experience was further enhanced by excellent appetizers (pizzas and focaccias), perfect for the pairing. ​A big thank you also to the owner of the beach club, who was incredibly kind and made us feel at ease right away. ​Highly recommended! An experience that combines seaside relaxation with high-quality food and wine.

We enjoyed a truly special afternoon thanks to a wonderful tasting of classic method sparkling wine led by Paola, an official AIS sommelier. With passion and expertise, she guided us on a journey through the aromas, history, and curiosities of the world of sparkling wines. Her explanations were clear, engaging, and full of anecdotes, making every sip a memorable experience. All this was accompanied by delicious and carefully selected appetizers, served with great care and at a truly excellent price.
