01/03/2026: We dined at this restaurant to enjoy the Florentine steak. The menu offered two options: the Florentine steak on the bone (750 grams) and the Florentine steak with fillet (1,250 grams). We immediately chose the fillet steak (to be a Florentine steak, it has to be like that, otherwise it's a steak) with a side of beans in oil. After a wait, the Florentine steak without the fillet steak arrived. I pointed this out, and the waitress told me she would cook the fillet steak immediately, which arrived later. The beans? Later, at my request. The owner also arrived and told me that the Florentine steak with the fillet steak was sold out because there had been too many requests... The steak was good, even if cold inside. Now, anything can happen, making a mistake or finishing a dish (I still don't know if it was finished or a mistake, given the conflicting explanations), but if it's finished, you let them know before cooking it, asking if it's still okay; if it's a mistake... they say it, apologizing. This way, it seems to me like they wanted to "rip me off," which is really unpleasant. The waitress, who I believe told the truth—that there was a mistake—found a solution; the owner... in my opinion, "lied," making the situation worse. It's a shame; the food is good and the atmosphere pleasant. Praise for the waitress, but a negative for the owner.

09/02/2026: Excellent pastry shop, the only one in Lucca offering Pain Suisse in various flavors. Truly special, worth the effort. It's a shame it's small inside and the tables are outside. Otherwise, Pasticceria Claudio is highly recommended.

21/12/2025: The roe deer starter was excellent, and the "a bit of everything" appetizer didn't include all the appetizers on the menu, just a few of these for two. The baked rabbit, 4 pieces (a liver, 2 pieces of rib cage with, appropriately, too little meat, and a leg), had too much oil and too much salt for my taste, as did the rosticciana. The homemade bread was delicious; I would have eaten 1 kg of it alone if I could. The price was a bit higher than expected, but overall it's fair enough. The service was always friendly and impeccable. Overall, I would return to try other dishes.

14/12/2025: Very nice, welcoming, and well-kept place! Attentive and friendly staff. This is really delicious! Good value for money! The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses was truly exquisite, as was the meat!

08/12/2025: We discovered this place through Borghese's "4 Ristoranti" program. We had a quiet evening in a small but very intimate and pleasant setting. The cuisine was very refined and delicious.

22/01/2026: Went for lunch... few dishes, little variety, terrible food, everything tasted like burnt fried food... rice and gnocchi were inedible... €18.90 wasted, pointed out... reply: I'm not the owner... and we've been here for 16 years... in fact, there were 3 of us for lunch, I wanted to try it but... it's disgusting, Asian cuisine is anything but simple...

06/01/2026: The best sushi place in Lucca and the surrounding area. I've been there many times and it has never disappointed me. Excellent quality fish and very friendly waitresses. I highly recommend it!
