Stop for breakfast and try the famous rice puddings. The puddings are delicious and very light, I recommend trying them. In the morning, around 9:00, the sun, which isn't too hot, is enchanting. The service is quick and friendly. Although it costs a little more, table service is preferable because it can get crowded at the register and counter. However, you can also serve yourself and go and sit down.

Not even third-rate service stations fill their verandas with signs warning people to clear the table and leave it clean (what? Detergent and gloves?) During COVID, Galliano complained about having 40 employees at home; one employee is expected to clear the tables and clean.

If you're in Viareggio, you can't miss it. I recommend walking from the dock and arriving as if it were an oasis of relaxation. It's a very busy place, so patience is required. The lady at the cashier was friendly and polite, acknowledging the mistake on the receipt.

06/06/2026: I went for a business lunch and wasn't very impressed. The service was a bit slow. The tordelli were good and homemade, and the ragù was very simple. The fried chicken wasn't good; it was basically tossed in oil without any batter or flouring. The price is good, €15 for the full menu, but I'm sorry, I won't be back. It's a shame they could do much better if they reworked the food a bit.
04/06/2026: The food is plentiful and delicious.... kindness and courtesy are not lacking....and your wallet doesn't cry....
