13/03/2026: Truly excellent restaurant in the Darsena district of Viareggio. A charming and well-kept venue with a very pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the service was attentive, friendly, and professional. We started with a five-course appetizer, each one more delicious than the last. This was followed by a sublime Viareggio-style risotto, and truly special paccheri with calamari and shrimp. To finish, a homemade dessert: a simply wonderful strudel with ice cream. An experience I absolutely recommend.

09/02/2026: Out of all the restaurants we went to in Italy, this is the one I remember better. A simple, underground tavern, warm and homely, perfect to be in with your family. The food was INCREDIBLE!!! The truffle pasta is still in my top 5 favorite foods I’ve ever tried. It created a memory in me that will live on forever.

07/01/2026: We walked in without a reservation, and the blond, light-eyed, very smiling and helpful young man sat us down. We ordered and were quickly served: Lucchese-style lentil soup, EXCELLENT, a humble dish but with very well-balanced toppings, characteristically the best we've tasted in the Lucca area. Baked potatoes, EXCELLENT, a real DRUG... we literally drank them... among the best we've ever tasted. Truffle tagliolini, EXCELLENT, well-soaked with its creamy sauce and the quality of the truffle shavings excellent, the pasta cooked perfectly! Steamed spinach was good, but be careful with the salt, it was almost inedible. Cantucci and Vin Santo were EXCELLENT, finally some "probably pastry-made" cantucci that deserve to be called such! 2 bottles of water, a glass of red wine, and 2 excellent coffees = €60.00 A special tribute to the chef, "father of the very young head waiter." I repeat my compliments; we ate very well and were served admirably. Overall, great image (a quaint little restaurant just outside Lucca's city center) and great substance (the chef's passion and love for his craft are evident in the dishes). The only flaw (which can be fixed) is the front door; unfortunately, the constant draft from the fact that it keeps opening makes it uncomfortable, especially for those unfortunate enough to be sitting at the entrance. I would definitely return. I will recommend it.

21/11/2025: It's a favorite place, but unfortunately, on the last three occasions, something has gone wrong. Once the ravioli were very salty, once the tagliolini were loose, once the seafood was watery. I assume something has changed in the kitchen. My rating isn't negative, but I hope you'll soon return to your "recent" glories. In my opinion, it's the most beautiful and characteristic restaurant in Viareggio.

30/09/2025: Quality can be seen but above all TASTED, we purchased the focaccia (and what an exquisite focaccia), the Schiacciata (superlative) and the Cunsato bread (with a super Master filling) for a corporate event. Our guests miraculously left their trays :). Both we and our guests will come and visit you very soon. Once again, COMPLIMENTS.

14/02/2026: Fantastic restaurant. We had lunch in the small room with the view and the stove on a Saturday in February. The view was breathtaking, the service was fast, impeccable, courteous, and attentive. The food was delicious and the prices were fair. Thanks to Michele and Jessica for the wonderful experience in this truly enchanting place. We'll definitely be back.

31/12/2025: My favorite dinner in Italy, loved it! Amazing dishes, small menu, attentive and friendly service - everything was great. For visitors to be aware: - Most of their dishes are sea food - if you are not a fan, not sure if you find any dishes for yourself. - For solo visitors - start with 1 main plate. I was hungry as a horse, but I could hardly finish 1 antipasti + 1 main. I think because the dishes supposed to be shared, all portions are pretty big. - 1 star: As a wine lover, no wine menu was disappointing. You have wonderful wines, please list them! I understand that only few of them are open for glasses, but still some simple crayon-on-board list would be great.

06/10/2025: We had breakfast here, and everything was simply excellent! It's very easy to find a parking space, the coffee is very good, and our rolls and pastries are absolutely delicious. Everything is of very high quality, and you can tell that everything is made fresh. The family who runs the pastry shop is very nice! The atmosphere is very pleasant and cozy! We definitely recommend it!

04/10/2025: Fantastic local restaurant, run by a husband and wife. Frequented mainly by local Italians. Owner doesn’t speak English but very friendly and we were able to communicate. Wife cooks fantastic Italian seafood dishes and husband runs front of house, serving everyone. Beautifully cooked seafood dishes. Best compliment I can give is; we have been twice already and because it was consistently good we are going back again for lunch today. Highly recommend
