Making everything even more special is the lady who runs it: extremely kind, attentive, and warm. Highly recommended!

From the Tordelli to the grill...everything, in short. Great views and lots of tranquility.
06/04/2026: We had lunch with friends in a very simple restaurant with an outdoor veranda. The first courses were delicious: Lucchese tordelli with ragu and macaroni with wild boar. The second courses were excellent: sliced beef, fried chicken, and rabbit.
And to finish, the typical Lucchese torte coi becchi.
Water, wine, and coffee, all for €40.

23/06/2026: La Quercia was without a doubt one of the best restaurants I've ever tried. I'll start by saying that the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. The location is wonderful, completely immersed in greenery, an oasis of peace, and it's also extremely clean. And now comes the highlight! The menu offered so many interesting and original options, a quality that's hard to find these days. The flavors and aromas were intoxicating. Each dish was prepared and served with the utmost care. The desserts were not only beautiful to look at but also delicious. I recommend everyone to visit La Quercia and if I could, I'd give it 10 stars! My husband and I will definitely be back; we love traveling and reviewing such special and unique places!

03/06/2026: It's just as I remembered it when I first came here 25 years ago. It serves traditional dishes expertly crafted by an experienced kitchen. Fresh pasta, exceptional soups, flans, tender cuts of meat, good house wine... the owner is also incredibly friendly. What more can I say? A must-see when passing through Gallicano. Enjoy your meal!

09/04/2026: Roadhouse-style venue, well-decorated and well-maintained. Various draft beers—I think five—and plenty of bottled ones. We enjoyed the focaccias. Big screen for sporting events. Good service.

05/05/2026: Excellent place for both quality and ambiance. The service was also excellent. I was a little disappointed that they took away my favorite sandwich (the one with peppers, ham, and mayo). I return every time I'm in Lucca. Excellent value for money.

07/07/2026: The service needs to be reorganized in my opinion. It's strange that orders have to go exclusively through one person when there are other assistants who don't know what to do.
The pizza is truly excellent, that's the important thing.
01/07/2026: Even though I had booked and called two days in advance to confirm, the table reservation wasn't there. They still found us a seat.
The staff was friendly but imprecise and distracted.
We waited over an hour and a half for our pizzas, and in the meantime, the beers got warm.
Several mistakes regarding the drink order.
Excellent pizza!

18/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, located inside the Bagno Venezia complex. I've eaten there several times as a couple and with family, and the food was excellent. The service is well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. The fish is excellent, always fresh. The peppered mussels are excellent and plentiful, the spaghetti with clams, the tuna steak, and the mixed fried fish—all delicious. Reasonable prices for the location and season.

07/06/2026: The place would also be nice... because it has a sea view and a lovely panoramic terrace. It's a real shame about the food. The portions are meager to say the least: octopus appetizer: 3 small pieces. Mixed fried fish: 2 shrimp, 1 squid, and all vegetables.
Sea carbonara, which isn't actually sea carbonara, but rather saffron pasta with 2 fish. Obviously, this is also a mini portion, even though the prices aren't cheap.
I went there today. It's a shame... because I'll never set foot there again.
Highly not recommended!
