04/05/2026: Da Filippo, in Versilia: elegant restaurant, attentive service, and well-prepared dishes. Prices are higher than in other areas, but it's a great experience. I recommend it.

01/06/2026: The five small appetizers were varied and delicious. The main course, orata (sea bream), was very tender, and the sugo and olives harmonized perfectly. The accompanying sparkling wine was also a good match. This seafood restaurant is highly recommended.

11/05/2026: We were supposed to go to another restaurant in the area, but it was closed for a private party. I asked the manager where I'd go for dinner. He sent me to Beppino, and I'd say he was right. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was the place I like: rustic but well-kept, the staff were kind and friendly, and the dinner was excellent, featuring traditional local products. I was also satisfied with the bill, which was very good value for money. So, what can I say? I'll be back when I'm in the area and will recommend it to friends and readers. Bye!

14/02/2026: Although it's mostly frequented by foreigners, I didn't feel like a "tourist trap." It's a lovely place; the lamb and pecorino cheese sandwich, with anchovies and dried tomatoes, was delicious! Recommended!

12/04/2026: Last night, strolling along the picturesque shores of Lake Gramolazzo, we found this lovely trattoria/pizzeria, and intrigued by the simplicity of the place, we decided to dine here. We were greeted with warmth and kindness and escorted to a table in the dining room. We opted for two first courses: ravioli with meat sauce. What can I say? Delicious, prepared that day by the chef and accompanied by an excellent meat sauce. Thrilled with the first course, we then decided to try the pizza, recommended by the friendly and helpful waitress: gorgonzola and walnuts. This dish also turned out delicious! Tasty, well-cooked dough and excellent ingredients. We drank the house wine, which was very good! At the end of the dinner, we were offered a local liqueur made with Garfagnana chestnut honey. Definitely worth a try! Fair prices, excellent ingredients, and simple, friendly, and professional service. We'll be back.

16/05/2026: Fine and not expensive The decor is pleasantly timeless, just like the menu. Authentic dishes. Wine by the bottle, lots of choice but a somewhat pricey selection, so I went for the cheaper house wine at €7 for half a liter. Was okay. Nice cured meats, cheese, and Crostini platter. Guinea fowl with patates al forno. Unfortunately, the sauce on the scallopina al vino Bianco seemed a bit of a failure. Watery and lacking in wine flavor. The desserts, however, were fine, especially crema catalana and cantucci with vin santo. Not a 5 because of that wine sauce before the food. It got quite busy with two larger groups. All in all, a pleasant place and adequate service.

29/04/2026: Disappointed to say the least. I called on April 11th to schedule a cake for 25-30 people for April 25th. They told me there were no problems; I just had to call two days in advance to confirm the exact number. They would also deliver that day. I called on Thursday, April 23rd, to give the final number of 26 people, and was told that we had chosen not to work the afternoon of the 25th, so they could only deliver the cake in the morning (though I had already specified that the restaurant didn't have room for the cake until the afternoon, after the lunch delivery). They didn't offer any assistance; in fact, they burdened me with the risk of being without a cake for the party, given the short notice and the holiday in between. Mrs. Antonella also questioned my initial call, suggesting that perhaps I had chosen the wrong pastry shop and then blamed the employees. I find this to be improper behavior, both personally and professionally, in front of regular customers. When they decided not to work on April 25th, they could have at least called and informed us promptly, to avoid potential disasters. It's unfortunate to have to forgo their cream, which is, for me, one of the best in the area. This behavior, for such an important celebration, is not easily forgotten. Professionalism must come first.

02/06/2026: We're a big fan of Rome, and we came to this restaurant for lunch on a weekday in late May, trusting previous reviews. The restaurant, which is also a bar, is located right in the city center, under the porticoes. We ate outside and were warmly welcomed by the charming, friendly, and helpful owner. The lunch menu featured simple dishes, for a quick and informal meal, but despite that, everything was very good and served quickly. The wine by the glass was also good, the quality/price ratio was exceptional, and the entire staff was truly friendly and helpful. If we're ever in the area again in the future, we'll definitely be back to say hello and enjoy your dishes, perhaps this time for dinner. Congratulations and thank you again! Andrea and Antonella
