I went for a business lunch and wasn't very impressed. The service was a bit slow. The tordelli were good and homemade, and the ragù was very simple. The fried chicken wasn't good; it was basically tossed in oil without any batter or flouring. The price is good, €15 for the full menu, but I'm sorry, I won't be back. It's a shame they could do much better if they reworked the food a bit.

A local gem in the highlands. Good food, good service and good price. I enjoyed the tagliatelle pepe e cacio and the pork dish. Limited parking places.

I had Sunday lunch at this restaurant, located in a pleasant and somewhat remote spot in Garfagnana. We had a bit of a hard time finding the location, but we had a very good lunch. The atmosphere was quaint, the service was average, and the friendly and helpful Mrs. Lorietta dropped by. The homemade tortelli(ni) and macaroni with meat sauce were spectacular, as was the fried chicken, dry and crispy. The strawberry ice cream and house red wine were excellent. All at a great price. We'll be back.

The tortelli with tomato sauce were excellent, and the crispy fried chicken was truly excellent.
The pasta with zucchini and pancetta was well-made; I didn't try the other dishes because they were too generous.
The view from the veranda was beautiful.

Very good dishes. Service was average, and the value for money was exceptional. The place has great potential, especially in terms of scenery, but we found it on a terrible day and didn't enjoy it. I hope to return to continue sampling. Today I had an appetizer, and my wife had pasta with meat sauce. Both were good, followed by two fried dishes, one with just rabbit and one with rabbit and chicken. Definitely worth a try. House wine, a dessert, and two coffees.

The best fried chicken I've ever eaten. Typical, traditional cuisine. Family atmosphere. Friendly, efficient service. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well, without spending a fortune, and enjoy traditional Garfagnana dishes.
